She was trembling on her toes. Though he was lowering his head, she still failed to clutch him.
"Mi... Michael..."
She ped her soles on the floor and gave up.
Why did this guy have to be that tall?
Maybe he was 6. 5 feet tall?
"Emm?"The moment she was to let go, the guy held her by the waist and lifted her up.
Before Linda Yun realized what had happened, she completely fell into his chest but her two hands were stuck between them.
"You..."
She never had the chance to finish what she wanted to say.
The man's pupils dilated, he got closer with his chin touching her cheek, jeering,"Which friend? Shall we go together?"
Linda Yun was stuck. The atmosphere was over-romantic.
So she pushed him away immediately.
"Well then, you don't really have to. I'm leaving very soon. Just mind your own business."
On replying, she moved one more step away to keep a distance from him.
.
But the man came closer to her step by step until her back was against the wall again.
His hands were swiftly put against the wall to trap her in his arms.
Then he leaned even closer and whispered in her ear with that bewitchingly smoky voice from his throat,"What? It is a man... or your lover?"
Linda Yun was stunned, she looked up at a loss with her raven dark eyes, which were an obvious contrast to her pale face.
What, what was he talking about?
Lo...
Lover?
"Hah, just kidding."That guy stood upright right away and tapped her head gently,"Call me later, okay?"
Linda Yun was a little bit confused since she didn't know how to respond to this.
"What? You wanna go with me?"
"No, no, no. Well then, I'll call... call you later."After ping these words, she ran out of his sight.
The man didn't stop smiling till her figure vanished in the distance.
Joe Guo, who had been standing in a distance, came over and said,"Mr. Huo, Mary Yun is so strange today."
He had been watching them from the very start.
Indeed, Miss Mary Yun behaved so oddly.
Why would she pretend not knowing him at the store?
"She is not Mary Yun!"The man's voice echoed coldly.
Stunned, Joe Guo replied,"Not, not Mary Yun. How could it possible... She is..."
"Look into her identity."He turned around and walked to the elevator.
Joe Guo nodded,"Yes, Sir!"
As for the real Mary Yun,
she arrived at the hospital with sunglasses and a bunch of flowers.
Although her face was covered by the sunglasses, her designer outfit made her very conspicuous.
"Hello, which floor is it?"She was making a phone call in an elevator,"What? The 15th floor? OK, I get it!"
She hung up the phone and frowned--what a smell in the hospital!
Soon, she reached the 15th floor.
After she stepped out of the elevator door, she knitted her brows since she was confused about which ward it was.
"Forget it, I'll just ask go to the nurse station."
She marched to the reception desk in her stilettos, bright-colored flowers in arms, and got all the attention from this corridor.
"Ding, ding, ding..."Her cell phone sang.
Mary Yun picked up to check--it was from an anonymous caller.
But the familiar number below made her frown. She looked around and walked straight to the staircase.
Opening the door, she flashed in.
"Yo, are you outta your mind? Haven't I warned you? Do not call me..."
Her words were not finished.
Mary Yun was stuck.
Patricia Bai g, who was doing exercise below this flight of stairs, looked up and was dumbfounded, too.
