Chapter 174: Chapter One Hundred and Seventy-Four
Keaton starts to say yes, but I slap my hand over his mouth. "No, we don't want you to leave." I say, looking over at him.
Cory quirks an eyebrow at us. "Are you sure?"
"Yes, we are sure." I say, turning my attention back to Keaton. "Aren't we?" I ask, looking at him with narrowed eyes.
Keaton licks my hand and I snatch it away. "Yes, we are sure." He says, giving me a 'are you happy now' look.
"Okay, but if you guys start making out again I will probably leave." Cory says, as he comes over and sits on the bed.
"Just probably?" I ask, laughing.
Cory shrugs, smiling. "We will see how I feel in the moment."
Me and Keaton both laugh. "If you want to see how you feel, we can start making out again." Keaton says, giving my ass a gentle squeeze. I shake my head, trying not to laugh.
"I might like it." Cory says, jokingly. At least I think he is joking.
Keaton laughs and looks at me. "You heard him. Let's make out."
I smack his chest, my face turning red. "That is not what he said."
Cory and Keaton laugh. "Sorry bro, I tried." Keaton says, looking over at Cory.
Cory laughs. "Thanks and it's okay, Erin just doesn't want us to have any fun." He says in a teasing tone, acting like I'm not here.
"Heyyy, I do too want you guys to have fun. Just not like that." I say, laughing.
Keaton playfully slaps my ass. "What kind of fun can we have then?" He asks, giving me a mischievous smile.
"I don't know, but probably not the kind you are thinking of." I say, laughing.
Keaton sighs. "Fine. I guess we can just watch a movie or something then." He says, sounding disappointed.
I smile, leaning in to kiss him. Just a quick peck on the lips. "Can I turn around or did you want me to watch the movie sitting on your lap like this?"
Keaton smirks. "Well, I would say something, but I don't want to offend you. So, yes you can turn around." He says, winking at me.
I roll my eyes and lean in to give him one last kiss before turning around on his lap. Keaton wraps his arms around my waist and I lean back against his chest, putting my hand on his arm. Keaton picks a sports movie that I'm not really interested in, but I don't care. I am just happy having Keaton hold me.
Him and Cory start talking about everything they did wrong in the movie and I try not to laugh at how worked up they get over a movie. This is how I want everyday to be. I want to be able to spend time with Keaton and still hang out with our friends. It just feels so nice.
About halfway through our second movie and a bowl of popcorn Cory looks over at me and Keaton. "Have you guys heard from Evan or any of the other guys?" He asks.
"No, I haven't." I say, realizing it's weird not hearing from him. Especially since he knows me and Cory were hanging out. Then Keaton left the guys at the park earlier, I'm sure he knows he came back here. Does he really not care about what I do anymore?
"I haven't either." Keaton says. "Why?"
Cory shrugs. "I was just wondering. I kind of figured he would have checked in already."
"He's probably just busy." I say, hoping he isn't doing something crazy.
"Maybe busy beating the crap out of everyone for talking about you." Keaton says.
I laugh, rolling my eyes. "If everyone is talking about me, then he has no right to hit anyone, because he's the one that started it." I say.
Cory nods his head in agreement. "Yeah, I don't know how he is pretending to be okay with it. I'm sure he is going to snap eventually." He says, his expression turning serious as he looks at Keaton. "Do you think Evan will be okay with the two of you dating?" Cory asks Keaton.
Keaton sighs. "Honestly, no I don't. He will just have to get over it though, because it doesn't matter how he feels about it. I want to be with her and that isn't going to change." He says as he rubs my arm. "I just hope he still wants to be friends after all the initial anger passes."
Cory gives him a small smile. "I hope he gets over it too. My mom always says some friends don't last forever, some are only until the end of highschool. You and Evan just seem like the kind of friends that would last forever though."
"Maybe. I guess we will see after we tell him about us." Keaton says.
I never really thought about it like that. I guess it's true though, everyone changes as they get older. I'm sure some people just grow apart or change to much to keep certain friendships. Maybe since all of my friends that I have been making are in the last year of highschool, they will be the kind of friends that last forever.
Cory starts to say something, but there is a knock on my bedroom door. I try to pull away from Keaton just in case it's Evan or something, but he doesn't let me. "Hey Erin, it's Levi. Can I come in?" He asks through the door.
A little wave of relief washes over me. I'm glad it's not Evan. I don't think we should be laying in my bed when he finds out about us. I turn my head looking at Keaton. He nods his head slightly. "Sure. Come in." I say, loud enough for him to hear me.
Levi opens the door and steps inside, looking at the three of us on my bed. "Damn, did you guys have fun without me?" He asks, smiling. He sounds genuinely disappointed though.
"Yes, we did." Keaton says.
Cory starts laughing and I shake my head. Levi frowns. "That's not fair. Why would you want to have fun with these two idiots when you could have me?" He asks.
Now it's my turn to laugh. "I'm sorry. Some things just happen in the moment. They can't be planned." I say, joking.
Levi shakes his head. "I knew I should have stayed here with you instead of going to the park with the guys."
We all laugh. "Speaking of the guys. Where is my brother?" I ask, genuinely curious.
