Katie looks at us, “I have a question. It's probably stupid.”

Katie she takes in a breath, “If Morgan felt all the power the first Haze. Why is this one different? You all are behaving differently! You even said something felt
different.”
Morgan just purrs and swishes her tail as she looks between us.
Vincent snaps, “Cat don't just sit there with that smug Cheshire grin!”
Sam sighs, “The cat clearly knows.”
Morgan flicks her tail hard, “I think you're all deaf and dumb sometimes. I've already answered Katie's questions if you actually think. So I told you all to prepare a nursery. During the first Haze the transformation into gods started. You got your powers, did you not? I also know you all just don't wait for the Haze to fuck. You all started on creating gods then why I sensed such strong power.” She purrs, “Now other gods will sense it
as you create more gods before this one ends.”
“Umm, what if they don't like it?”
Morgan says, “Then they'll attack. You think they'd come bearing gifts?”
“Of course not! But we can't fight!”
Morgan purrs, “Yes you all can! You easily took out a necromancer, didn't you?”
Vlad chuckles and Morgan shakes her head, “Such a cocky bastard!”
“It's not like I had a choice!”
Morgan tells me, “But you did. You could've imprisoned him for an eternity but instead you saw to his immortal death. You made sure that his soul could never return.”
“We just killed him.”
She purrs maniacally, “Oh, you and Vlad did far, far more than that my beautiful temptress! On that day you all embraced that you were gods.”
“I was only joking!”
Morgan grins, “Your brain might've been joking but your soul knew the truth in your words.” She looks at Vlad, “And you! You could've ended him in many ways including what was asked of you, but you didn't, did you?”
Vlad gasps, “How do you know?”
Morgan purrs, “Power, pure power! You used soul fire. Only gods can do that and only certain ones too! In that moment, you erased his soul from being. He has no afterlife, no chance at resurrection, he merely ceased to exist all because of you!”
“But we hadn't…”
Morgan grins, “You hadn't physically consummated your bond, but your souls did. Besides it wasn't long after that you both consummated it, was it?”
Vlad snaps, “Witch you weren't even around!”
Morgan stretches and purrs loudly, “Didn't need to be. I followed the power!”
Elena asks, “So you knew that they found me?”
Morgan nods, “Yes. I knew your bonds were being lifted. You just needed the final step and your mate.”She looks at Marcus.
l laugh and Vincent joins me. Marcus flips us off, “Oh fuckoff!”
Vlad gives Marcus a nod, “Man, you best do it right!”
Elena sighs, “Just ignore them!”
Katie jumps excitedly, “Oh, not happening! There's going to be a real wedding!” Katie then glares at us, “Or two!”
I shrug, “Blame Sam!”
Sam yells, “Hey! You were there and had the cake too!”
Vincent chuckles, “Oh, this is great!”
Katie stabs her finger into Vincent’s chest, “Not so fast lover boy!”
Morgan just purrs loudly as Katie waves her hand around, “You all listen! There will be weddings before those babies are born!”
“Who said anything about babies?”
Katie points at Morgan, “She did if you were listening. At least one exists now and more by end of this Haze. If not already from what happened this morning!”
Morgan shakes her butt as she purrs, “Mmmm exactly, and it's such a pity that you're straight, Katie.”
Katie laughs, “I'm so getting you a friend!”
Vincent glares at her, “Oh, no you're not!”
Katie squares her shoulders, “Watch me!”
Vlad laughs and Vincent turns to him, “You're such a bastard. You know damn well you'd be livid if she wanted a pet bat!”
Vlad looks at me, “Actually not as much as before. Eva made an adorable bat!”
Katie gasps, “Since when?”
“Umm, at the office when we brought Elena home.”
Katie asks, “While I was frozen?”
“Yes.”
Katie shrugs, “At least I didn't have to see the kinky shit for once.”
Elena cocks her head, “Once?”
Katie sighs, “Unless you want to watch a live action porno, I suggest that you spend the next three days next door.”
Confused, Elena says, “But they're fine now.”
Morgan purrs, “They were not earlier and it was a work of art too!”

“We don't know that there are any so no need to worry now.”
Morgan reaches out and smacks my hand with her paw, “Eva, stop denying!”
I sigh. I'm not ready to be a mother. I had no mother. I just can't do this, can I?
