I giggle at Sam’s protectiveness.
He yells, “Eva!”
“Mountain Man, save it! Just go!” I exclaim and then kiss his cheek. He walks off shaking his head as I giggle.
Elena giggles, “Snow White, that's cute!”
I explain, “I can control anything living or dead. I can see through the eyes of animals too.”
Elena gasps, “Wow, makes sense!”
I hear Vlad’s thoughts, “Vlad!!! No fire!” I yell as I throw a ball of water at him.
Vlad clicks his tongue as he dries himself, “Really!”
“I warned you!” I threaten.
Vlad shrugs, “He deserves it, and worse.”
I glare at Vlad, “Not yet he doesn't. Exhibit some of that control that you love so much!”
Vincent starts laughing as I walk over to Merdon. I play through scenarios in my mind. But this is for Vlad and not me.
Merdon shrieks in worry as he nearly pisses himself, “How can their full powers work in daylight?”
I vemonately say, “Because they're my mates! Those chosen by this goddess get gifts. You fucked up Merdon! Elena may be Vlad's wife, but she was never his mate!”
Merdon looks puzzled, “Then who?”
I rise to my full height and use my Alpha command, “Nice try! I can't be compelled but you can! Kneel!”
He and Elena both kneel. I look at her, “Sorry Sis, no disrespect but he needs to be taught a lesson!” I touch him and have his sins replay in his mind.
As he’s grabbing his head and screaming, Elena asks, “What did you do? I can't feel or hear him now.”
“I'm making him relive every torment, every ounce of anguish, every sliver of pain he's ever caused,” I explain.
Elena exclaims, “Holy shit!”
I smile, “I'm a sadistic bitch and he pissed me off! If he still refuses to free you, I'll do it. It will hurt but only for a few minutes I promise.”
She looks in my eyes, “I trust you!”
Once Merdon recovers, he asks, “How?”
I shake my head in annoyance, “I've told you! I'm a goddess! My mates are gods now!”
Vincent and Vlad port beside me and Eric ports between Vincent and Vlad. I giggle at their antics as I continue, “See no spell, artifact, or shadow trail.”
Merdon screams, “Impossible!”
Vlad smirks, “Wrong, with Eva anything is possible!”
“We never really were just normal vampires. Eva awakened what was slumbering,” Vincent explains.
Eric suggests, “So I suggest you free Elena or my queen will pass judgment!”
I kiss Eric’s cheek and then focus on Merdon, “Surely you're familiar with the legend of the Order?”
Merdon scoffs, “As are most older vampires.”
I beam as I shift, “Well you're looking at the new one!” I shift back, “I'm everything and I intend to rid this world of filth. Starting with you! So release her!”
Merdon says, “So you can kill me? No way.”
I nod, “Either way you're dying in the next twenty minutes!”
Elena asks, “Why then?”
I look at her and then my men, “Because we need to get home and chat. Then I owe my men some private time.”
Vincent smirks, “It's going to be quite long, my love. I know you feel it starting!”
I sigh, “Because you boys think everything I do is hot!”
Sam wolfishly grins, “Well it kinda is!”
I shake my head, “Oh, hubby of mine save it for later as you're going to need it! So Merdon free Elena and I'll let you choose how you die. Don't and I'll let Vlad have fun!”
Merdon looks at me with pure defiance, “Fuck you!”
I sigh, “Nope! Elena, how do you want him to die? Tell Vlad.”
She whispers in his ear and he smirks, “Oh I can do far more than that!”
Elena exclaims, “Seriously!”
I shrug, “I've encouraged some creativity.”
Vincent kisses me passionately.
Elena exclaims, “They're not fighting!”
I broke the kiss and smiled at her, “No I fixed that issue. Now let me free you!”
I touch her and her skin melts off. I have her bite my wrist as I nick her carotid artery. “Now Vlad!” I yell.
He uses the inner fire to explode Merdon once and for all. Bits of ash fall around us, showering us in our own ticker tape parade.
Vincent comes over and we trade giving Elena our blood. While he feeds her his blood, I use my blood to heal her neck, replace her skin, and look for any other surface cuts. I say, “Alright that should do it! Shock her, Vincent!”
He removes his wrist. I heal him real quick and he shocks her. She floats and opens her eyes, “Did it work?”
I giggle, “Look down and tell me!”
“Shit!” Elena yells.
“Think down slowly,” I tell her.
She does, hugs me, and says, “Thank you!”
I smile, “You're free to make your own decisions now. But there are a few things you should know. You were never fully human.”
Elena looks at me confused, so I explain, “You're a demi-goddess why you had electric powers as a human. The accident just triggered it. I saw everything. Next, as you saw, you're my half sister.”
Elena smiles, “Which is so cool!”
I sigh, “This last bit might not be.” I motion to the guys, “Each of these men, I'm bound to. Not by a spell but by our souls. They are my eternal mates! I didn't have a say, it just happens and it's undeniable. It's unbreakable. So I'm sorry if you wanted Vlad for only yourself.”
As she speaks softly, she touches my face, “It's okay. Do you love them?”
I nod, “I fought it, but yes I do. I haven't touched Vlad. It takes restraint on both our parts but it's manageable until the full moon.”
Elena asks, “What happens then?”
My guys know that I'm uncomfortable talking about this topic so they insert themselves. “We haze like the wolves do, but it's far more intense,” Vincent explains.
Eric adds, “We lose track of days.”
Sam nods, “Events are blurry too.”
“So we don't leave the house for three days,” I say as my cheeks redden.
Elena asks, “If you're separated what happens?”
Vincent says, “We find Eva by all means necessary!”
Elena’s eyes widen, “That's extreme!”
I nod, “Oh I know, I'm still trying to invent the unfriend button!”
She laughs, “I don't blame you. I thought one sex-crazed husband was enough.”
I look at my men, “See guys she gets it!”
Eric glares, “Just give up trying!”
I shrug, “You know I won't fully!”
Eric kisses my cheek, “Oh I'm aware.”
I change the subject and ask, “Sam how many did you free including servants?”
Sam answers, “80.”
“How many including guards are joining us?” I inquire.
Sam smiles, “120 at first until I flew. Then we gained another 80.”
Elena exclaims, “Wolves don't fly!”
I grin, “But Alpha Gods do!”
Elena asks, “So since I'm your half-sister will I have more than one mate?”
I shrug, “I don't know. I do know that there are two people back home that want to see you.”
Vlad asks, “Are you ready to return Elena?”
Elena looks at him, “So you can control me?”
I smile to urge Vlad, “I suggest you tell her the truth.”
Vlad sighs, “You're such an ass!”
I smirk, “Yep and it's oh-so fine!”
Vincent chuckles as Vlad protests, “Don't encourage her, brother!” Then he looks at Elena, “ I did that to protect you because I love you, Elena. It wasn't solely to control you but to keep you from risking yourself.”
I remind him, “Remember what I said.”
Vlad glares at me as he envisions spanking my ass, “You can't hurt me and I'm far more creative! Besides I will spank yours before you can lay a hand on mine!” I turn to Elena “What he's struggling to say is I've freed you. He can't control you now even if he wanted to. I can, but I won't!”
Elena says, “Because I'm a living thing.”
I nod, “Yes, I prefer you to have a choice. But I do control life and death and it doesn't matter if they're supernatural or not”
Elena gasps and then asks, “What all can I do?”
“That's what we will help you discover if you come back with us,” Vincent says.
Elena asks, “Vlad, are you in love with my sister?”
Vlad sighs, “It's complicated.”
Looking at Elena, I say, “We haven't bonded like that because I refuse to be a home wrecker. I'll fight it as long as I can, which unfortunately is till the next full moon. I'm sorry.”
Elena smiles, “Eva you're not purposely doing this. You're not some jilted ex!” I look down as she continues, “Sis, if I were you, how would you respond?”
“It would depend if I was still in love with him or not. If I were then perhaps I could share if only for a few days a month,” I reply.
She smiles, “It's fine. I'll always care for
but my love left over a decade ago.”
Vlad says, “Because I didn't come for you.”
“No, I'm glad you didn't. I would've had to watch you die. l'd rather have you as a friend or casual fling then to never be near you again. I allowed him to take me to protect you and the others. He had a plan with a coven.I don't know where they are now though. I think in The States somewhere,” She motions around, “This was supposed to happen! Now let's all go home!”
“Is the castle clear of any innocents including those on our side Eric?” I ask.
“Yes we are good to go,” he informs me.
We walkout and I look at Vlad, “Vlad send this place to hell!”
He gets a demonic look about him. I just giggle and smirk.
Vincent shakes his head, “Eva, you're Satan!”
I grin, “I can be!”
Eric warns, “Watch the sass!”
“Oh, you like it!” I tease.
“You just like to provoke them don't you!” Elena says with a grin.
I nod, “Yep it's fun!”
Vincent yells, “Just keep it up!”
I smirk, “I can call a few cats!”
Vincent says, “Don't even try!”
Elena smiles, “Cats are cute! What's your deal?”
Vincent replies, “Try having one with claws in your pants.”
“You didn't!” Elena exclaimed with an evil grin.
I nod, “I so did!”
Elena smirks, “Nice!”
Vlad yells, “Fuck!”
Vincent sighs, “Yep there's two of them!”
“And one can read your minds,” I reply with a sly grin.
Vincent yells, “Stop it!”
I cock my head, “Make me!”
“Just wait Eva!” Vincent threatens.
Elena whispers to Sam, “Are they always like this?”
Sam chuckles, “Yep multiple times daily too.”
Elena laughs, “It's funny!”
Sam nods, “It sure is!”
Elena asks, “Are you the only wolf?”
Sam responds, “We only have one mate each life, so I will always be her only wolf.”
“How did you know?” she asks him.
Sam replies, “First sight and then you imprint. It's where your life flashes before you and you see them in it. Your wolf comes forward and growls his approval and need.”
Elena exclaims, “Wow. Do you know how it happened for the others?”
Sam nods, “Pretty much the same. Except Vincent denied it for a day. Eva a bit longer. She's still fighting it with Vlad and will until she knows it won't hurt you.”
Elena asks, “Why?”
“Because her heart is huge. She puts others before herself,” Sam admits with pride.
Elena smiles, “I got lucky, didn't I?”
Sam nods, “You so did!”
Eric yells, “Guys just knock it off!”
Vlad says, “Eva started it!”
Eric yells, “I don't care!”
Elena laughs. Sam says, “Welcome to the family Elena!”
We port home. Elena yells, “Wow!”
I give her a soft smile, “You'll get used to it!”
Elena asks, “You think I'll be able to?”
I nod, “Probably.”
Elena pulls me close, “Listen, Eva, don't hold back. I'll stand by you!”
With a sincere smile, I say, “Thank you.”
Elena grins, “What sisters are for!”
We walk into Vlad's castle hand in hand.
——-Elena’s POV——
Eva let me see everything. I saw a baby dropped off at the place grew up. I didn't see who deposited me there. I saw a young Eva told that all her family was dead. She was an outcast like me even though I had a family.
She resembled me growing up. She is my sister. It is nice that she respected me without even knowing me. I'm not in love with Vlad but I will always care for him. Why I sacrificed myself to spare him.
I am glad that I did because he led me to Eva. She mentioned The Order. I remember Artemis and Vlad talking about it partly why Vlad and Vincent fight so much.
I wonder what has changed since I have been gone?
