We all run around trying to pelt the other with cupcakes. That's all I remember as tossed and turned once I was able to sleep. However, I wake up in bed to a sticky mess. There's icing and bits of cake where no icing or cake should ever go. Ugh, maybe it's good that I don't remember!
I go and get a shower but I'm not alone for long. Vincent kisses my shoulder, “Mmm, morning.”
“Just how is there cake places I can't reach?”
He chuckles as he washes me, “Well, after we threw cake balls at everybody we ported back to our room. We wanted to eat some cake so we made you our cake. Then the Haze started and I
have no clue after that. But I'm guessing we all had fun because there are remnants of cake all over all of us!”
“Morgan?”
Vincent chuckles, “I'm betting her and Agie slept with Katie.”
“Good at least there are no witnesses this time!”
He kisses his way down my body and squats facing me. He kisses my stomach and rests his hands there while he talks, “There are witnesses Eva but luckily for us they can't see or hear anything we get up to.”
“But…”
Vincent puts his finger to my lips, “My love, I couldn't be mad if I tried.” He kisses my belly again before rising to his feet, “I never thought I'd find my mate and never dreamt of being a father because we all know how rare-born vampires are now. But now, now all is possible. It's all possible because of you! I love you, Eva!”
“I love you too!”
He kisses me and I feel everything. I feel the world because he's my world. I'm glad we have an eternity because if we didn't I don't think I'd stop till I found a way to give us one.
We decided to make love in the shower. No Haze, just us. It will be a rare moment during the Haze too so we make the most of it. He moved the spray of the shower so that he could lay me down. As he kissed down my body, I ran my hands through his hair and down his back. He lightly sucked my clit as his fingers stroked me to climax. Then he slowly licked up my body until he could capture my lips in a passionate kiss.
He moved his hands under me, lifting me slightly so that his cock could easily slide between my folds. He began to thrust slowly and I rocked my hips up to meet him thrust for thrust as our lips never broke our kiss. We both climax and fall into one another. He kisses me once more before he helps me to my feet.
The guys respected our privacy too. Maybe I should spend some alone time with each of them soon? After we finished showering we dressed. I opted for leggings and a tunic top while Vincent put on dark jeans and a dark blue button-down shirt.
We walk into our bedroom hand in hand. The other very nude men are just getting up and trying to figure out our night before.
Vlad groans, “Just why the fuuck is there icing between my asscheeks and bits of cake on my balls?”
Sam growls, “Hard same!”
Eric whines, “Everything is sticky,” He's pulling a sheet that's stuck to him off of his thighs, “Everything!”
Vincent and I laugh as Sam snaps, “If you know, you better tell us!”
I'm wiping tears from my eyes as Vincent explains, “We wanted cake. We made Eva the cake.”
Sam motions to his very nude and colorful cock, “Still don't explain why my cock resembles a cupcake!”
Vlad bitches, “Or why my ass resembles a macaroon!” He flicks some icing off of him, “No Vincent, that explanation doesn't explain all of this.”
Vincent shrugs, “Us coating every inch of her is all I remember.”
“I don't even remember that!”
Eric sighs, “Well, it's going to be a long few days if it's starting out this strong.”
Vlad asks, “So it wasn't like this before?”
Sam explains to Vlad, “We lost days but would remember parts. Everything is blank now and that didn't happen before until nearly the last night of the full moon.”
Vlad yells, “Well fuck me!”
Eric sighs, “Maybe we should record it just so we know what we do that we can't remember.”
“I don't think we should.”
Sam cocks his head, “So you're not the least bit curious?”
“Maybe it's better if we don't know.”
Sam smirks, “It embarrasses you,” He takes his finger and runs it through some icing near his cock as he walks over to me and touches my lips with his icing-coated finger, “Now that's adorable because I know what these lips do when they're not Hazed. I can only imagine what they do when they are!” He pressed his finger into my mouth and then kissed me senseless. Oh God! I just got dressed. I can't Haze right now.
I back away, “Get cleaned up and dressed. Meet me in the kitchen,”I port and Vincent ports behind me.
Vincent reaches for me, “Love?”
“We have to get through today. I can't be Hazed all day. We have to find him!”
Vincent kisses my cheek, “We will! You're worried that they will first.”
“Yes. And we can't impede them with magic because then they'll know we are after him and them.”
Vincent nods, “I understand. Just don't overdo it, please. I don't want you to blackout again.”
“I won't!”
Vincent holds me, “Still we aren't risking it.”
“I know.”
Vincent strokes my cheek, “Eva, everything will be fine. You'll be a great mother. Our children will be loved and raised by us. Where you go I go, Eva. For eternity and beyond we are forever bound.”
Katie squeals, “You better have said yes!”
“Umm.”
Vincent says, “I haven't asked her yet, Katie.”
Katie stammers, “But…but it felt and sounded…”
Morgan purrs, “Because his soul was asking, Katie.”
Agnes purrs, “Even if his mind is too clouded with doubt to, his soul knows.”
I look at him, “You doubt?”
Vincent sighs, “Yes.”
“Me too.”
Vincent asks, “Why?”
“You'll get bored.”
Vincent kisses me, “Oh! That won't happen!”
“But you doubt.”
Vincent shakes his head, “Not about that.”
“Then what?”
Vincent sighs, “That I could be a good husband to you. I failed my last wife.”
“She got herself bitten. She'd have become a vampire but one indebted and enslaved to Raven. You allowed her to die free like I guess she would have wanted to. Would she have wanted to have been a ghoul or minion of Raven's or a free spirit even if her body died?”
Vincent says, “She always had a sense of duty. She knew her role as a princess.”
“Well she's free of that now too. She can roam and fall in love with whom she chooses. She's no longer bound to duty or anything. She's truly free for the first time in her life! Don't you see that? You gave her a gift that no one else could. You freed her soul!”
Morgan purrs, “Vincent, death isn't the end but a beginning. The Clare you knew died but the one that rose from her corpse is amazing. You'll cross paths again one day. She's free because you killed her before she fully turned. She died a human and not a vampire. Her soul became free! Listen to your mate!”
Vincent asks me, “You think she's free?”
Morgan comes and rests her head on my leg. I take Vincent’s hands and place them on my temples, “I don't think, I know,” I touch his face. I let him see the new Clare. She's happily singing as she prepares lunch for her family. Three children rush to the table. She smiles and rubs her pregnant belly. I brought us back to our bodies.
“You gave her her freedom and with that a chance at the life she always wanted for herself. Her soul lived on and has kept doing so. Had she become a vampire she most likely never would've had that.”
Morgan purrs, “You know she's right since only very few vampire pairs can bear children.”
Vincent nods, “You're all right! I didn't love her like she needed.”
Agnes adds, “Because that deep love is reserved for only your mate. You loved Clare, but it pales to how you love Eva.”
Morgan says, “You just didn't know because you thought you were completely human.”
Vincent snaps, “I was human!”
Morgan shakes her head, “There's a reason Eva chose you four. There's something special and it can only mean you all were never just what you thought you were. There's something that bound you all. Something that happened before some of you were created.”
Agnes nods, “Your souls knew and have always known. No doubt they have looked for each other for centuries.”
Morgan tells him, “You said it yourself, Vincent.”
Vincent smiles, “We're eternally bound.”
Morgan purrs, “Yes, yes you are.”
He chuckles and looks into my eyes, “I'm an idiot! I love you Eva!”
“I love you too.”
Vincent kisses my hand, “Then after this is done, marry me.”
I look at him unsure if this is a dream or not.
Vincent’s smile widens, “Marry me before the Vampire Counsel, become my eternal bride!”
“Yes! I'll marry you!”
We kiss and Katie screams, “Yes! A wedding!!!”
Vlad whines, “My fucking ears!”
Sam says, “Yeah, I think mine are bleeding now.”
Katie jumps up and down, “Stop bitching! There's going to be a wedding!”
Eric chuckles, “More cake too.”
I blush and Vincent pecks my lips, “It will be even more fun licking it from my wife too.”
I blush harder and Sam raises his eyebrow, “You know that you're already married, don't you? Or do I need to remind you?”
Katie glares at Sam, “No ring so no and it wasn't before everyone. He said Counsel so this counts!”
Sam sighs, “We so need to find her her mate!”
“Oh, I've tried!”
Katie rolls her eyes, “Dull and boring isn't my thing!”
“Whatever, you missed out! Us undercover freaks are the best!”
Eric smirks, “Not so undercover anymore, Eva.”
“Oh hush!”
Morgan just said something before Vincent asked me to be his eternal bride. Morgan said that there was something special about each of my mates and that they weren't how they initially seemed. Were they under a protective spell like I was? If so, by who? Why were we kept apart for so long? So many questions and still so few answers. We must find the rogue wolf and with finding him hopefully find some answers too!
We had our breakfast and then ported to the Pack House. This should be interesting!
***Vincent’s POV***
l asked Eva to marry me. I had been tossing around the idea since I realized that I loved her. Now, I need to find her a ring. I wonder if the others plan to as well? The Vampire Counsel will need to
be consulted if the others plan to.
No matter what, soon she will be my wife!
