Chapter 51: The Lethal Ingredients of Vitality Pills
Lily explained, "Catherine is here to do experiments, not to visit family."
Do experiments?
How old is this little girl? Does she understand medicine? Does she know what medical experiments are?
Catherine looked past everyone's gaze. "I invited someone to join me. You don't mind, do you?"
Everyone was shocked!
"Ms. Catherine Windsor, do you think this is a field trip? Even if you're Mr. George Windsor's sister, you can't disrespect science like this!"
Lily was also a bit troubled. George hadn't mentioned that Catherine was bringing someone!
"Catherine, our lab has pretty high standards. Your friend might not be able to come in easily."
"It's fine. He should have access clearance."
The group of doctors looked at each other.
What did Catherine think their lab was?
Did she think just anyone could walk in whenever they wanted?
Gavin's voice shot in like lightning from outside, afraid Catherine would do the experiment without him.
"Catherine! I'm here, I'm here! You haven't started yet, have you? I didn't miss it, did I? I don't care! Even if you've already started, you have to let me watch!"
"Any later and you would have missed it. Come in, but you can only be an assistant."
Gavin nodded eagerly. "Being an assistant is great! If I can watch you do experiments, I'd even be a cheerleader!"
Catherine was silent.
She didn't need a cheerleader for her experiments.
Gavin followed Catherine into George's lab, and all the doctors were amazed!
This was Gavin! Everyone in medical research knew Gavin!
He was actually assisting a high school student, and he looked so happy about it!
The doctor who had looked down on Catherine earlier panicked and quickly asked Lily, "Lily, what's Ms. Windsor's background? I've never heard of her having any research achievements."
"George's own sister—could she be a genius like George? That's impossible! Let's go up and see!"
The group of doctors made up their minds and followed into the lab.
"Ms. Windsor, can we watch you do the experiment?"
Catherine nodded. "Sure, as long as you don't disturb me."
The research staff in George's lab were all his capable people, so Catherine didn't mind them watching.
"Microscope, slice the pills flat, make a hundred control groups."
"Dissolve the reagents, put them in the centrifuge."
"Use IHC experiment, put it under the medical microscope."
Gavin immediately started working according to Catherine's requests. Seeing he was too busy, Lily also volunteered to help Catherine.
The group of doctors went from disbelief to shock!
Not only could Catherine actually do experiments, but her sample was the Vitality Pills from the black market!
Catherine's eyes were clear as she looked at the stunned doctors.
"Could someone who's good at recording data help out?"
"Me! It would be an honor to serve you!"
"Sample slides, need three hundred sets."
"Me! My slides are especially good!"
Catherine selected over ten doctors to join her experiment. The chosen doctors all looked thrilled, as excited as if they'd just published ten SCI papers in a row!
Two hours later.
Catherine looked at the report in her hand, frowning slightly.
"I see. So my guess was correct."
Gavin looked at the data, shocked!
"I didn't expect the Vitality Pills to contain not just Vitality grass, but Dream grass too!"
Dream grass, a famous hallucinogen on the black market, was also a banned drug. Excessive use of Dream grass would create drug dependence, causing patients to become confused.
Most notably, when patients were confused for long periods, their minds would fall into chaos. At that point, whoever spoke near the patient would be perceived as their own thoughts!

The Vitality Pills Catherine obtained all had very low Dream grass content. If not for some of Felix's medications conflicting with Vitality grass, no one would have discovered he was taking Vitality Pills.
"Lila's Vitality Pills have the highest Dream grass content."
Gavin also looked serious.
Long-term use of Vitality Pills would cause Dream grass addiction, increasing the need for Dream grass.
This meant Lila had been taking Vitality Pills for quite a while!
Catherine picked up the report and gestured for Gavin to sign it.
Gavin was confused.
"Why are you looking at me? This is a high-level drug analysis experiment. What's wrong with you signing it?"
This wasn't her lab, and experiment reports needed to be kept on record.
"But you did the experiment! I was just an assistant!"
"I don't have certification."
Medical experiments required certification from the Stellara Pharmaceutical Research Institute. Catherine found it too much trouble and never got hers, so she was technically working without a license.
Gavin finally understood!
Catherine didn't invite him to the experiment to discuss things—she wanted him to take responsibility.
After all, this was about Vitality Pills. Gavin could already predict the pharmaceutical institute would be calling him in a few days!
She really didn't leave herself any trouble!
"Why don't you have George sign it?"
"How could I leave this kind of trouble for family? If you don't sign, you can't come to my next experiment."
Gavin immediately signed his name in the lead researcher position!
"I'm leaving. Please tell George I have something to do, and give him a copy of the experiment report."
Lily now admired Catherine completely!
"Yes! Come back anytime, Catherine! Our lab has the best equipment in the country! Don't go to Gavin's lab!"
Gavin was silent.
He was still standing right there!
Was it really appropriate to criticize his lab like this?
Walking out of George's lab, Catherine's gaze fell on the man standing by the road.
He wore a turtleneck cashmere sweater that revealed his sexy Adam's apple. His khaki trench coat fluttered in the breeze, and he radiated an unapproachable, intensely cold aura.
Seeing Catherine come out, Alexander quickly walked up to her.
"Finished with the experiment?"
"Yes. What are you doing here?"
"Picking you up for dinner. Didn't I mention it earlier? Where's George?"
"In surgery. Here's the experiment data."
Felix was also a victim of Vitality Pills, so Alexander had the right to see the analysis results.
"Dream grass? How did this stuff get back on the market? I remember three years ago Northern Myanterra fell into chaos because of this!"
"Yes, it's that. I suspect Eli and Ethan's cooperation also involves Dream grass. After all, this stuff is really valuable."
Alexander frowned at the report. "Why is Gavin the lead researcher?"
"He did the experiment."
Alexander knew Catherine didn't like being too high-profile and didn't want too many people knowing her identity as Moon. Phantom Doctor 'Moon's reputation was too big—even in Imperia City, it could make people harbor ill intentions.
If she encountered danger and he wasn't by her side, that would be bad!
So when Gavin mentioned meeting a medical genius last time, it must have been her.
Alexander composed himself and gentlemanly opened the car door for Catherine.
Catherine sat in the car, her expression calm.
"A few years ago, one Dream grass plant sold for $10 million. Though expensive, it's extremely rare, and for Eli and Ethan, that money isn't much. Ethan probably wants Dream grass for something else."
Alexander immediately understood!
"For example, his family member's illness requires Dream grass as medicine, and the only person in the world who can use Dream grass is Phantom Doctor 'Moon'!"
Ethan had recently posted multiple recruitment notices for Phantom Doctor 'Moon' on the dark web.
The price had reached $1 billion!
Catherine shook her head. "Not quite. Besides Phantom Doctor 'Moon,' at least one other person knows how to use Dream grass."
"You mean whoever made these Vitality Pills?"
"Exactly!"
