Chapter 7 Pleasuring a Boy
JESSICA
I felt my heart react to his tone and the anger in his eyes.
I moved my eyes to David. He is focused on his game.
Mom scoffed in disbelief and moved her gaze to the window.
The car returned to its silent mode and stared at my fingers. My attention was moved to my blue dress.
Mom got it for me a few days ago. This is my first time wearing it. It is very pretty.
And I love it.
I heaved a sigh as I thought about my dad's situation. If I could guess why he was upset, I think the business associates didn't like his ideas.
He has been pitching ideas to some businessmen lately, but none gave him listening ears.
He would get so pissed and attack everyone in the house.
Well, everyone except for David. He attacks mom and me.
Sometimes me.
Most times actually.
I just can't wait to start working so I can support him. I am definitely giving him all my first pay.
A FEW MINUTES LATER
THE SAMUELS' HOME
We got out of the car after we drove in, and we headed into our house. It is a simple duplex with very beautiful esthetics.
It might not be that luxurious, but it is better than a middle-class home.
We got into the living room and Dad sat on the couch, removed his jacket and tie before relaxing on the couch, staring at a random place.
Mom, David and I stood close to the door, staring at him.
He is in his thoughts.
Whenever he is like that, it doesn't look good.
I leaned closer to David, who was still playing his video game happily.
"David, go to your room and get ready for bed," I said lowly.
"Okay," he said, heading upstairs and towards the room area as I returned my gaze to Dad.
"Leo, you have to give me an explanation right now," Mom said.
"I told you to drop it, Carmen." He said calmly without looking at her.
"Can you stop this behavior and tell me what is going on?!" she yelled.
"Mom," I muttered.
She was glaring at Dad.
Dad sat up straight and rested his eyes on mom. His eyes moved towards me and I shifted a bit.
"What are you still doing here?" he asked.
"I...."
"Get out," he ordered angrily, making me furrow my brows slightly.
"She is not going anywhere," mom said.
He got on his feet, making my heart pick up as he kept glaring at me.
"I said get the hell out of my sight, Jessica!"
I flinched but mum blocked me with her hand.
"Don't use that tone on our daughter, Leo. What has gotten into you?!" Mom yelled, but dad kept glaring at me.
Tears clustered in my eyes.
This is how it has been since his bankruptcy. He gets really pissed and attacks everyone.
He attacks me mostly.
"Leo,"
He kept glaring at me.
"Leo, stop this," mom ordered, but he didn't listen.
"Dad, please calm down. We are going to come out of this." I almost sobbed.
He scoffed.
"Please don't be like this," I begged as tears rolled down my eyes.
Mom turned to me, wiping my tears.
"No crying, Jessica. This is between your dad and me. I don't want to see any tears, do you hear me?"
I nodded.
"Now go place your brother in bed. Go," she urged.
I nodded, moving my eyes to my dad momentarily.
He is still glaring at me. I made my way towards the stairs. I walked up the stairs and got to the hallway.
"Let that be the last time you talk to our daughter like that again," I heard mom order, making me lean on the wall.
I really want to know what the problem is with my dad.
"I am her father. I will talk to her however I please," he said, making me lower my gaze.
"What is wrong with you? Why are you like this all the time? You are not the first businessman to go bankrupt, Leo," mom said.
Dad didn't say anything.
"There are a lot of them out there."
"Just go away, Carmen. I don't want to talk about this," he said.
Their voices died down.
I peeped a bit and saw my dad seated on the couch and mom was crouching down in between his legs.
"Whatever it is, Leo, we can handle it together. My bakery will thrive, and I will support you." I heard mum say, making dad scoff.
"Or you can join me and run the business together," she suggested.
"Fuck that," he snapped, moving away from her and headed to his favorite spot in the backyard.
"Leo," mom called.
He didn't respond but closed the door behind him.
Mom heaved a sigh as she sat on the couch. She rested her elbows on her knees and held her head with her hands.
My heart clenched a bit as I stared at her.
I decided to go to my brother's room. It took me a few minutes before I prepared him for bed.
Thankfully, the chocolates he took didn't upset his stomach. But he is wide awake right now thanks to the sugar.
I am currently reading his favorite Christmas story to him while he is lying on his bed and under his blue avenger-designed duvet. He is playing with his toy car, moving it in the air as I read.
I put the book down and reached for his car, but he moved it away from me quickly.
A sigh escaped my lips.
"Give it to me, David."
"No."
"It is past your bedtime," I reminded.
"Mom said there is no school tomorrow,"
I rubbed my temples tiredly.
"Yes. Tomorrow is Saturday. But that doesn't mean you won't sleep once it is your bedtime. Now give me the car." I ordered, reaching for it, but he kept taking it away.
"David,"
"Mom, Jessica is taking my toy from me!" he called out.
I heaved a sigh, closing my eyes.
I looked at him.
He is grinning.
"Really?"
He poked his tongue at me.
I shook my head.
"What is the matter, my lovelies?" Mom's voice got my attention.
David quickly got out of bed and moved towards her as I got on my feet.
"Honey, you are still in your dress," mom said, staring at my dress.
I shrugged, opening my mouth to speak but...
"Mom, Jessica wants to take my toy from me," David whined.
I heaved a sigh.
"Well, she is your big sister. She has the right to." Mom said, making him look at me with that cute anger.
My turn to poke out my tongue.
He walked towards his bed and I chuckled while staring at me.
"Sweetie, go change and go to bed. I will take care of your brother," Mom said, making me look at her.
I nodded. "Good night, mom" I said, about walking past her, but she held my hand.
I looked at her. Her hazel eyes are looking at me with worry. Our height is almost the same, but she is taller by just a few inches.
"Don't think too much about your dad, okay? We are working on something together."
I nodded.
"Just go to your room, shower and go to bed. Think about nothing but your profession as a nurse. My beautiful nurse Jessica," she said, caressing my cheek and making my heart melt as always.
She is the best mom in the world. What do I need best friends for when I have her?
"Thank you, mom."
"I love you, sweetie," she said, leaning in and kissing my temples.
"I love you too," I said, smiling at her.
She smiled at me. "Run along while I handle this adorable demon." She said, walking towards David.
I chuckled as I stared at them momentarily before heading out. I walked along the hallway and got to my room.
I walked in and closed the door behind me. I stared at my well-arranged room.
It is not too big, but it is big.
Mom decorated it for me. On the wall, right above my bed, there are the words "NURSE JESSICA" written on it with some blue and white ribbons.
She made it for me the day I graduated. She was so excited.
She called herself a nurse mom.
I couldn't help but laugh.
I love her so much.
She is my hero.
No one on earth has ever been so proud of me like she does. Well, it is as it should.
She is my mom.
But I feel she does extra.
She is my world.
I can't wait to start working and support her.
I will still help her in her bakery. When I get my shift schedule, I will figure out when I will be free.
I love bakeries.
Thanks to her, I am able to bake any pastries you can mention but with her recipe.
Which is the best.
I believe one day, Carmen's Bites Bakery will be the most popular in the city.
I trust it will be.
I walked towards my closet and took out my pajamas.
I walked towards my bed and placed it on it. I stripped and headed to the bathroom. I finished all my business and moved to my reading desk, which has some books on it, especially my Bible and a laptop.
I sat on the chair and stared at my Bible for a while.
I moved my eyes to my laptop, staring at the screensaver. It is a picture of me, mom and David. We are smiling happily.
I have David in my arms and Mum is leaning in between our faces. I get a warm feeling in my heart whenever I look at the picture.
I smiled as I stared at it.
My thoughts moved to what I saw at Uncle Xavier's window, making that familiar weird feeling return to my body.
The image played in my head. The motion and speed at which the woman moved her head while doing whatever she.... whatever she was doing.
I didn't know when I clenched my legs together.
I got this feeling ten years ago. I didn't understand it and I never told anyone what I saw.
I couldn't stop thinking about it.
Now tonight.
This time a different position.
A different.....way.
I rested my eyes on the search tool on my laptop screen.
I moved my fingers to the keyboards but stopped myself.
I thought about researching what I saw.
I rested my fingers on the keyboards, thinking of what to call it or how to research it.
I recalled the way he threw his head back.
That was pleasure.
He was enjoying the pleasure.
I quickly typed, "pleasuring a boy"
My heart pounded as I reached to click the enter button.
I clicked it anyway and some information appeared instantly. There are no images, just write-ups.
I moved to images and I clicked on them.
A lot of inappropriate images appeared, making me turn it off instantly.
I let out a breath, feeling my body reacting to the images I saw.
God, Jessica, what are you doing?
You can't do this again.
You stopped feeding your head with inappropriate things, remember?
I heaved a sigh and reached for my Bible.
I opened a random verse and began reading.
My thoughts left me as I read.
The image of how he gripped the girl's hair filled my head.
I covered my face with palms, feeling guilty.
I covered my Bible, placed it back where I kept it and moved to bed. I switched off the lights and stared at the dark.
I am just twenty-one.
I still have a lot of time for pleasure.
I am not missing out on anything.
And I will not be a virgin forever.
I just have to be patient till the love of my life finds me.
I nodded at my inner words and heaved a sigh. I covered myself properly.
I stirred to the side and reached for my phone on the nightstand.
I turned it on, and I saw the same picture on my laptop on my screen.
I unlocked my phone and went through social media a bit.
Scrolling and scrolling, I smiled at some amazing pictures I came across. I also viewed my pictures and pictures of my new workplace, Wellness Oasis.
I can't wait to start on Monday.
I am so excited.
I scrolled through till I came across a video which needed to be clicked.
The video has a hint of a naked couple in the act.
That feeling returned, making me gulp as I stared at it.
My fingers ached to click them.
The cautious version in me fought my desire.
But something stronger urged me to click the video.
I was about to click on it when Alex's call came in, making me flinch.
I calmed myself and took the call.
"Alex?"
