Chapter 66 Bikini
XAVIER
"Good night," I said, heading towards the stairs.
"Xavier,"
"Déjalo pasar, mamá."
("Let it go, mom") I heard Ximena say.
I walked up the stairs, heading towards my room.
Fucking old room. I hope they fucking cleaned it.
I got to the door, grabbed the doorknob, and walked in.
Hmm. Of course, they cleaned it.
The room is spotless and smells nice.
Fresh even.
They knew the cancer lie would work that's why they fucking cleaned up my room.
How interesting,
I walked today the bed, spotting my luggage close to the luggage.
I undid my button as I sat on the bed.
I took off my shirt, tossing it on the bed,
I let out a sigh as I looked around my room.
A few things have changed but it is still filled with memories.
My eyes rested on a charging cable.
I got on my feet and took out my phone from my pocket as I walked towards the spot. I connected my phone and it turned on.
I placed my phone on the desk close by. I turned and leaned on the desk.
I rested my eyes on the bed.
I saw my seventeen-year-old self on the bed, lying on my belly.
My hands and legs were pinned to the bed by two employees. And another was whipping my ass with a fucking sting whip.
""¡Papá, por favor! ¡No lo volveré a hacer! ¡Diles que se detengan!"
("Dad, please. I won't do it again. Tell them to stop!" )
"Esto es por tu propio bien, Xavier. Necesitas aprender una lección."
("This is for your own good, Xavier. You need to learn a lesson." )
"¡Ah! ¡Papá, por favor! ¡Ah! ¡Mamá! ¡Xander! ¡Ayuda, por favor!"
("Ah! Dad please! Ah! Mom! Xander! Help, please!")
"¡Cállate, chico!"
("Shut up, boy!")
I closed my eyes, clenching the edge of the desk.
I let out a breath, releasing the desk.
I moved my eyes to the window. I walked towards it, opening the curtains.
The city came into view.
I put my hands in my pockets as I stared at the lights.
I reached for the window and opened it. The refreshing wind hit my skin, making me close my eyes.
I threw my head back, taking the wind. This is great.
Refreshing wind.
I took in a deep breath and let it out.
"Kiss her,"
I froze, opening my eyes as that kiss filled my head.
I furrowed my brows.
Why the fuck did that come up?
I shook my head, moving back to my phone.
I picked it up and dialed a number.
Jason's number.
I placed the phone to my ear.
The phone rang.
No answer.
I lowered my phone, dialing his number again.
"Don't tell me he is asleep already. It is barely midnight."
I placed my phone to my ear.
"Hello," his sleepy voice came through.
I scoffed. "What's a grown ass man doing asleep at this time?"
"It is past eleven pm, you moron. Why are you still up?"
I rolled my eyes.
"Are you busy with some girls over there?"
I scoffed ."I wish."
"What's up?"
"Get my jet ready to pick me up tomorrow. I am done with this fucking place." I said.
"Why? What's wrong? How is your mother?"
"Fine and kicking. They played me, man. Now I can't stand this fucking place."
"What do you mean? I don't understand you."
"Just get my jet ready. I will tell you everything when I get back. Good night." I said, hanging up.
I heaved a sigh, running my fingers through my hair.
I need a shower.
NEXT DAY.......
SUNDAY AFTERNOON.......
AT THE SECOND LIVING ROOM......
"What do you mean my jet has a problem? Is this some kind of a joke, Jason?"
I am standing close to the windows of the second living room with my phone close to my ear, listening to this fucking annoying news.
"Your wine, sir," the maid said, taking my attention. I picked up the glass of wine on the tray in her hands.
"Gracias," I said, sipping my drink.
"We are working on it, Xavier. You just need to be patient." Jason said.
"Patience is what I don't have, man. I want to fucking leave this place. It is making dick, goddamnit."
"What the...what exactly is going on, Xavier. Why are you sounding like this? Is your mom okay?"
"If you want to hear the full story, you fix my jet quickly and pick me up. I am fucking serious when I said this place is making me sick."
He huffed. "I wish I could appear in front of you right now but this jet will take a day or two to fix."
"What the...."
"So whatever it is, you have to relax and endure till everything is set, okay?"
"Are you fucking kidding me? A day or two? I don't have that time. I need to go back to my fucking company. I am losing money."
He scoffed. "Yeah right."
"I am fucking serious, Jason."
"I gotta go, man."
"Don't you dare hang up.
"Let's talk later."
"No, we are talking right now."
"Bye,"
"Jason, ja......" I heaved a sigh, lowering my phone.
"Fucker." I gulped the entire drink.
"Are you that sick of your family, Xavier," Xander's voice took my attention.
Just what I needed.
"You wanna leave so bad?"
"Uh, yes. That's exactly what I want to do." I said, scrolling through my phone.
"Look, man, I understand how you feel and....."
"You don't," I retorted, moving my fingers on my screen and typing a text to my business associates.
"Okay. I don't. I am sorry for being an awful brother. I should have protected you from our dad. I should have tried. And I should have been a good shoulder for you to lean on."
"Apology not accepted. Now leave me the fuck alone." I said, moving closer to the window. I let out a sigh as I leaned on the window frame, staring at the still functioning pool outside the mansion.
Neat and ready for anyone to dive in.
They kept it clean all this time.
Impressive.
At least they treated the pool right.
"How do I make it up to you, man?" Xander said and I realized he was standing behind me.
I heaved a sigh, scrolling through my phone.
"Can you at least be nice to our mother?"
My heart reacted.
"You can hate Ximena and me but Mom is really hurting. You have to forgive her."
I turned to him.
He is staring at me.
"I have to?"
He kept staring at me.
"What's with the manipulative statement, dude?"
"That's not..."
"I don't have to do shit, Xander." I retorted. "Do me a favor and leave me the fuck alone!" I snapped, turning around, leaning on the window frame, and working on my emails.
"Just think about it. We have realized our mistakes and have been living in regret since you left."
My heart reacted.
"We are terribly sorry. And I am sure wherever dad is, he is too."
I clenched my phone.
"Find a place in your heart to forgive us. We love you, Xavier."
My heart tightened.
"Please think about it."
I resumed my scrolling on my phone as I heard him walking away.
Finally, the bad energy is cleared.
"Come on, girls!" Ximena's voice caught my attention towards the small building opposite the pool.
She is walking out of the building in a green bikini covered with a long white net robe.
Wow.
So much for living in regret. Ximena seems to be doing the opposite.
I returned my attention to my phone as I heard laughter.
I flicked my eyes at them, spotting three girls laughing with one another in their bikinis as they followed Ximena towards the pool.
I returned my attention to my phone but froze.
I moved my eyes to them again.
Ximena has two daughters.
Who is the.....
I stood up straight as she raised her hands, attacking my eyes with that body that came out of nowhere in her pink bikini as she tied her hair up in a messy bun.
Is that......Jessica?
