LUCA
The moment I saw her step foot inside of my home, her home, I knew I would do it all again, and more, to have this woman. I'd give up everything. My business. My honor. My life. I couldn't escape the truth of that any longer. I would do whatever it took, kill whoever I had to, to keep her with me. My vita. Somehow, she'd crawled under my skin and burrowed her way into the deepest parts of me. She was mine.
And I was hers.
More tears filled her eyes until they shone like a stormy sea. "Why are you doing this to me?" she asked.
"I'm only giving you the truth you asked for, amore."
"It's too late for your truth," she sneered at me. "You've ruined me, Luca. Destroyed my life. My family. You used me. Forced me to share your bed..."
"And you fucking liked it."
She stiffened, and then she came at me with wild eyes, her small fists swinging at my face. And because a sick part of me enjoyed this side of her, I let her get in a few good hits before I grabbed her wrists and forced them behind her back, then hauled her against my body so she could feel how much I'd missed her as I dragged her down the hall, away from her parents' room. "How is this my fault, amore? I did not rape your mother. Nor did I beat your father to a bloody pulp. And you stayed in my bed willingly enough once I made you come."
"None of this would've happened if it wasn't for you," she seethed. "You're the one who brought me here! You and your petty games of revenge! My sister is dead! Why couldn't you have just left her that way? Why!" She struggled against me, trying to work her wrists loose from my grip. "Instead, you had to bring her back through me. Flaunt me in front of your brother. And now he's lost what was left of his mind. He went after my parents, Luca! My fucking parents!"
The only thing she managed to accomplish by fighting me was to envelop me in her scent and make my cock fucking hard. "If it wasn't for me, you never would've known what happened to her. She'd be lying in an unmarked grave in Mexico with no one to mourn her."
"I wish I'd never met you!" she gritted out. "You're a selfish son of a bitch. And I hate you!"
I narrowed my eyes. "You hate me?"
"Yes!"
A smile teased the corners of my mouth. "Should I take you to my room and show you how much of a liar you are, amore?"
She struggled some more. "Let me go, you bastard." Pulling back as far as she could, she spit in my face.
We both went utterly still. A deadly calm came over me as her eyes went wide with fear. I heard a clock tick somewhere down the hall. The front door opened and closed downstairs.
Her voice was hushed. "Luca... I didn't mean..."
"Oh, I think you did," I said quietly.
She shook her head, her blonde hair falling over her face and brushing the tops of her breasts. "No. No, I didn't. I just..."
I wiped my cheek on the shoulder of my jacket. Then I released her hands, bent down, and lifted her into my arms.
"Luca, where are you taking me?" she asked as I strode toward my room.
She'd stopped struggling. She knew she'd taken things too far.
"To your punishment." Holding her close against my chest, I entered my room and kicked the door closed behind me before I set her on her feet. Then I turned the lock.
Her eyes shot around the room. "Luca, please. I'm sorry."
"Sorry for what, exactly? For not appreciating my help? For hitting me? Or for spitting in my face?"
She stilled, and I watched as the blood drained from her face. She was remembering what happened the last time she'd dared to raise a hand to me. "Luca, don't do this."
"I'm not going to do anything you don't deserve, amore."
She swallowed hard as I took off my jacket and tossed it onto the chair beside the bed. But when my fingers went to the buttons on my shirt, her gray eyes darkened. Her lips parted, and the tip of her tongue shot out to wet her bottom lip. She was not unaffected by me. And it had been way too long since she was naked beneath me.
She stared at my bare chest for a few seconds, then tore her eyes away. "I'm not fucking you."
"No," I told her. "You're not."
She stood, undecided, as she tried to figure out what I meant. Then, just as I finished unbuttoning the last button on my shirt, she shot to the right and tried to run out the door. But the lock held her up long enough for me to grab her and carry her with me to the bed.
"I'll scream!" she cried.
"Go ahead," I told her. "I'm sure your father will come running to your rescue. So if you want him to hear you moaning my name as he stands outside the locked door, you go ahead and scream." I sat down on the edge of the bed and dragged her facedown across my lap. She was wearing black, stretchy pants.
Perfect.
With one hand on the back of her neck to hold her down, I used the other to pull them down off her ass. She wasn't wearing any panties, and I growled my appreciation.
When she realized what I was doing, she went very still. But she didn't fool me. I knew it was only the calm before the storm, and I held my hand hovered over one smooth cheek.
As soon as she started to buck, I brought it down hard, my breaths coming hard as her fair skin blushed pink beneath my palm. "Goddammit, Luca! Don't you dare! I'm not a child!"
My hand came down again on the other side.
"Fuck you!" she spit out, kicking out with her legs and trying to push herself away from the bed.
Removing my hand from the back of her neck, I leaned down and caught her wrists, stretching them above her head across the bed as my leg came down over hers, trapping her on my lap. Unable to move, she shrieked with frustration.
"Do I need to gag you, too?" I asked her as I rubbed my palm over the heated skin of her ass. "It wouldn't be ideal, because then I'll miss the lusty moans that'll soon be leaving those pretty lips. But I'll do it if I have to. I really don't want to knock out your father just so I can deal out your punishment."
She sank her teeth into my thigh.
I cursed, and my hand smacked her ass hard enough to make her let go. "Do that again," I dared her.
"Fuck you."
"Is that the only thing you have to say to me?" I spanked her again, and again, as I told her how incredibly insane she made me. Told her how much I wanted her. The things I wanted to do to her. I laid my palm to her ass until she was no longer cursing at me but squirming on my lap, and those low moans I loved to hear were escaping her lips no matter how much she tried to stop them.
Dipping two fingers between her fleshy thighs, I slid them into the folds of her cunt. She was so fucking wet, my own moan couldn't be contained as my cock kicked up against her stomach. "This," I told her. "This is mine." I was so hard I felt like I was about to burst from my skin.
I leaned over her, pressing my lips to her hair. "You're so fucking wet for me."
"Not for you," she panted.
"You're angry," I told her. "And you're scared. But don't ever lie to me, Veda." I inserted one finger inside of her, then two, fire heating my blood when the muscled walls tightened around them.
"I'm not fucking you," she told me again.
I smiled, and pressed my thumb into the puckered hole of her ass. "This is mine, too."
"No." But even as she tried to deny me, she rolled her hips so I would go deeper. I didn't give her what she wanted, though. Not yet.
I pulled out my fingers, spreading her moisture through her cunt and up to her ass. "Have you fucked anyone else after you ran from me?"
"Luca, stop," she pleaded.
"Have you?"
"None of your fucking business," she spit out.
