Exquisite dishes were quickly served, most of which Lydia had never seen before. Taking a bite, she was pleasantly surprised to the core.
Seeing the satisfaction and joy in her eyes, Lambert’s gaze softened with tenderness. He was willing to do everything he could to protect the smile of this woman in front of him.
By the time the two of them were done eating and drinking at “Eleganza,” it was almost dusk!
“Goodness, we’ve been eating for over three hours!” Lydia sighed.
Indeed, had it been over three hours? Eating, chatting, time just flew by unnoticed.
Especially seeing Lydia seeming to enjoy the food at Eleganza so much, Lambert couldn’t help but want
to order every dish for her to try. Consequently, Lydia inevitably ended up overeating.
Seeing Lydia’s embarrassed face, Lambert felt in high spirits. He took her hand, “Let’s take a stroll
nearby. The scenery here is decent!”
Lydia nodded shyly, knowing that Lambert was accompanying her to aid digestion.
The two walked hand in hand on the sidewalk, it was early summer, the trees along the roadside were
lush, flowers blooming.
The scenery was beautiful, especially with the setting sun casting a golden glow, making everything appear like a painting.
This experience was unlike anything Lydia had ever felt before. Being held by a large hand, she felt like
she could close her eyes and move forward without any worries, warm and reliable!
Suddenly, Lambert stopped in his tracks.
Lydia looked up in confusion, only to see him gently brushing away the occasional flower petal blown
onto her head by the wind. The warm breath hit her face, making her blush deeply.
“Lydia…”
Lambert’s eyes were deep, overflowing with affection, instantly igniting Lydia’s heart, almost instinctively, she reached out and hugged his waist, then quietly closed her eyes,
Lambert leaned down, gently kissing her eyelids, as if handling a priceless treasure.
In that moment, the two hearts beating in their chests seemed to synchronize, pulsating happily and blissfully.
The tender kiss traveled from Lydia’s eyes down to her rosy lips, devoid of the dominance and plunder of the past, nor was it shallow.

“In that case, will you accompany me to see a movie? By the way, have you watched movies before?”
Lambert thought seriously, “A home theatert?”
Lydia burst into laughter, “Then it’s settled, we’re going to the movies! The regular kind, where you go to the theater with lots of people!”
Thinking about Lambert queuing up for tickets and popcorn with many others made Lydia chuckle. She
wondered what the scene would be like.
In reality, Lydia found her worries unnecessary.
Even in a place like the movie theater, Lambert exuded such an aura that people willingly gave up their seats for them, even the popcorn they bought seemed to be more than what others got.
Lydia couldn’t help but sigh inwardly, what a superficial world!
They chose a romance film.
As it was the weekend, the theater was packed, and their seats were a bit towards the back. In front of
them, sat a young couple in their late teens, who seemed inseparable, kissing passionately just a few
minutes into the movie.
Lydia felt somewhat embarrassed. Though she tried to focus on the screen, the scenes right in front of her made it hard to ignore.
On Lydia’s third sigh, Lambert grasped her chin, desire swirling in his eyes. Even his voice became huskier, the warm breath carrying a refreshing scent of mint, “No need to envy others, we can do the
same!”
Then, Lydia’s lips were captured without hesitation, pleasure engulfing her, drowning her rationality, completely indulging in the sweet yet torturous desire.
Lambert’s large hand caressed her back gently, soothing yet teasing.

In the dimly lit movie theater, on the big screen, men and women were enacting separations and farewells, while Lambert and Lydia were interpreting their own passion and sweetness.
Lydia had no idea what the movie was about. By the end of it, she felt dizzy, limbs weak, and was being carried out by Lambert.
As they left, the young couple in front even gave them a suggestive smile, thumbs up, and cheered.
Lydia was utterly mortified! Although nothing happened in the end, she had practically been touched all over, she might as well just die!
Just as they exited the theater, Lydia’s phone rang. The familiar ringtone made her instinctively pause.
Oh no, it was already late, she had forgotten to inform Wythe beforehand!
Lydia answered the call with some trepidation.
“Sorry, Wythe, Mom’s coming back late, have you had dinner?”
“I’ve already eaten, I’m at Uncle Fraine’s house. I won’t be going back tonight, Mom, you don’t have to
worry about me, I’ll take care of myself.”
Though Wythe didn’t know why Mom was coming back so late again, his intuition told him it was probably related to Dad.
Well, if that’s the case, let them spend some time together, he was a considerate little darling after all.
As for Uncle Fraine, he would just have to apologize temporarily. Oh well, his opponent was too strong,
wasn’t he?
Lydia felt guilty, “Wouldn’t it be too much trouble for Uncle Fraine? How about I ask him to take you
back? I’ll be home soon.”
“It’s fine, Mom. Are you with Mr. Halsey?” Wythe asked knowingly.
Lydia froze instinctively, glanced at Lambert, her face flushed, and replied softly, “Yes.”
Wythe on the other end of the phone smirked knowingly, “Then Mom, you don’t have to come back tonight, I’m waiting for you to find a dad for me as soon as possible!”
Before Lydia could say anything else, Wythe had already hung up the phone, leaving her blushing furiously.
Lambert hugged her from behind, “Was he urging you to come home?”
Lydia lowered her gaze, her cheeks slightly red, “He was urging me to find him a dad as soon as possible!”
Lambert was taken aback, feeling a tightness in his throat, “Is that an invitation for me?”
The pent–up desire erupted at a single touch, and Lambert knew his rationality had completely collapsed.
