Chapter 94 Chapter Ninety-Four
"I love you too Raikin." He kisses me one more time and when he finally stands up back up straight, I realize people are staring inside and outside the mall. Through the glass entrance doors I can see lots of people stopped, watching us and I feel my cheeks heat up.
It's going to take a while for me to get used to this. The stares from curious strangers, the public displays of affection with three guys at the same time and most of all, it's going to take me a while to get used to feeling this much love from so many people at one time.
We make our way inside, Raikin and Ryder hold my hands as we walk through the door. I try to ignore all the stares, but it's hard. "Where should we look first?" Reece asks.
Ryder and Raikin both shrug. "I don't know. What would Dad even want?" Ryder asks.
"I don't know." Raikin says and I roll my eyes.
"Your dad said something about needing new shoes." I say casually.
They three of them turn to look at me with furrowed brows. "When did he say that?" Reece asks and I can't help but laugh.
"A couple days ago at dinner, when we were all talking." I say, laughing.
"I don't remember that." Reece says and I laugh harder.
"Well I do. Maybe we can get him some shoes or something, like a nice pair from the four of us."
The three of them nod their heads. "That's sounds good, he would like that. What about your mom?" Ryder asks and I scoff in disgust.
"She likes anything expensive and shiny, especially when she doesn't have to pay for it." I say rolling my eyes.
Ryder rubs my arm with his hand, giving me a soft smile. "We can get her jewelry or something." Ryder suggests, obviously trying not to upset me. He knows me and mom's relationship is on thin ice, especially right now. We rarely have good times, but here lately it's especially bad.
"Yeah that sounds good." I say giving a smile. I don't want to ruin our day by being in a bad mood because of my stupid mom.
The three of them each smile at me, leaning in to give me a soft kiss. One by one they kiss me and honestly, I forget all about my mom and all the people in the mall staring. For one brief second it is just me and my three guys and that's all I need.
We make our way through the mall, passing several stores and people along the way. We finally make it to the best shoe store at any mall in the United States, Sinful Shoes. They have every brand and style of shoe you can imagine for men and women of any age.
I absolutely love shoes and it’s going to be hard to shop for someone else. Maybe I can help them find a pair of shoes for their dad, then I can walk around looking at shoes for me. Not that I really have enough money to buy myself any. It doesn’t hurt to look though.
We make our way over to the men’s shoe section. Ryder holds my hand as we walk around looking at all the different shoes. None of these look like anything Curtis would wear, but that doesn’t keep them from showing me different shoes anyway. I honestly just think they like calling me babe in public.
Every time one of them calls me babe we get a look from someone in the store, whether it is a worker, or just another customer. I am starting to get used to it though. It’s kind of funny in a way, some people just smile, others look at us in complete horror. Like a girl with three boyfriends is the end of the world. I don’t care though. Reece, Raikin and Ryder make me happy and that is all that matters.
After about forty-five minutes of talking, making fun of some of the crazy looking shoes and some random public displays of affection, we finally find a pair of shoes that Curtis would actually like. At least we hope he will like them. They give me a few minutes to look at the women’s shoes, even though I definitely don’t need any more of them.
Raikin wraps his arms around my waist from behind, hugging me tightly and practically drags me out of the shoe store. We walk around the mall, checking several different jewelry stores, but I refuse to let them spend that kind of money on my bitchy mom. So, we keep looking and looking. The whole time I am walking around I try to get some present ideas for the guys.
I want to find something special for the three of them. I saw a couple of things they would probably like, but I want to do something memorable and meaningful, not just the normal stuff you always see. We walk into the last jewelry story in the mall, hopefully we will find something for my mom. I just need to stop being so picky, my mom’s a bitch but maybe if we give her something nice for Christmas, she will stop being a bitch for a little while.
We walk around looking at several different necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. The guys keep saying they don’t care how much it is, but I do. I never had a lot of money and mom certainly never spent much on me, so I don’t think gifts need to be expensive. They just need to be thoughtful.
We find a rose gold colored charm bracelet with little flowers, gems, and a charm that says mom on it. It’s still a little pricey, but it is honestly perfect. Mom would love it, she absolutely loves rose gold and the mom charm will make her feel important. “What do you think baby?” Raikin asks looking at the charm bracelet.
“I think it’s perfect. Mom will love it.” I say smiling at him. I might be mad at her, but I do still love her.
“We will get the bracelet then baby.” Reece says coming up on my other side.
I smile at him. Reece gets the sales associates attention and buys the bracelet. We thank him and start to walk out of the store. “Did you see anything in here you liked?” Raikin asks and I stop walking, turning to look at him.
