Roxanne didn’t answer right away, but took Maxwell aside to sit down.
“Max,” Roxanne said, “you had to understand one thing.”
“Once I only wrote Daphne, then it meant admitting to the previous infringement.” Roxanne said seriously, “It also meant that all my previous public image would instantly collapse.
“Also represented.”
She paused a bit and said, “I’ll lose.”
Maxwell knew this very well, so he went to Daphne afterwards to keep her quiet.
It was just that Daphne didn’t agree now, so there was no solution.
So, only by ending “A Glimmer of Roxie” could we keep the losses to a minimum.
But Roxanne didn’t agree.
All this gave Maxwell a headache.
Roxanne looked at Maxwell, she smiled, and said:
“Now that I added Daphne, I wasn’t really leaving her out, just admitting she contributed to the song.”
She said matter–of–factly, “Then just give her some money and resources, so it’s like she’s involved in the song and gets paid, so it wouldn’t be unfair to her.”

Chapter 329
“Max, this was a way I came up with after thinking for days, and it could be the best of both worlds.”
Maxwell looked at Roxanne with a complicated expression.
The whole premise for what she did was that Daphne agreed.
Daphne didn’t agree, she said that was infringement.
“You still wanted to push forward with ‘A Glimmer of Roxie“?” Maxwell asked.
“Yes.” Roxanne didn’t give in, “Max, I wasn’t going to give up. Even if you didn’t agree, I was still going to do it myself.”
Only “A Glimmer of Roxie” could let her win brilliantly.
Daphne was just a small–time artist who made a living by selling songs, and she even got called to the company to wear a hot mascot costume in the middle of summer, which showed how low her status
was.
Daphne was just playing hard to get, this time she just wanted more, so she pulled and tugged.
She believed Daphne would agree in the end.
It was super easy to handle Daphne.
Roxanne felt that seeing Daphne again was just for show, and she didn’t even need to look for Daphne anymore.
Now that she had added Daphne’s name, even if Conway Entertainment and Daphne made a fuss, she would just say the little celebrity wanted to get attention.
And I could take a jab at Stephanie, too.
Chapter329
288 Vouchets
Just say this was the nasty plan that Stephanie and Jeremiah came up with together.
Taking the money and staying quiet was best. If she didn’t take it, she wasn’t afraid of a lawsuit a long time later either.
Anyway, at that time she was already Mrs. Humphrey.
Roxanne more and more felt like this plan of hers was just perfect.
Everything was under control!
Hospital, after Stephanie finished her work, she went to check the song’s copyright registration again.
Stephanie still felt a little confused.
She didn’t know what Roxanne was thinking.
She was always right.
Although it wasn’t large–scale infringement, and Roxanne could hire a good lawyer, she could try to limit the consequences of losing the case to just stopping the infringement, paying a fine, and making an apology.
But Roxanne was ruined.
Did Roxanne really think she was dying, so she just wanted to go all
out and win and have a wedding with Maxwell?
Take advantage of a time gap?
Stephanie still felt really confused.
But she still thought Roxanne had the wrong idea.
Chapter329
The other side.
Maxwell couldn’t persuade Roxanne and felt really annoyed, so he drove back by himself.
He was just driving past that psychiatric hospital.
