Chapter 135
Luka
“You, me, and Vladimir need to have a talk.” Not what I wanted to hear.
“What about Anna and Valentina?” I asked, but deep down inside I already knew where this was headed. Vladimir was angry about me being involved with Anna.
“Not yet…not until I know you two aren’t going to murder each other. Besides, I sent Lydia, Valentina, and my sister shopping, so we could have the room to ourselves.” He cocked his head to the side smirking.
We stepped in the office and I took a seat. Vladimir was seated across from me with Nikolai is to my left. “Gentlemen, give me your guns. I don’t need you two killing each other. You wouldn’t want your daughter to hate you even more, do you Vladimir?”
Low blow, Nikolai.
That’s below the belt even for me.
I reached in my jacket and placed mine on the table at the same time Vladimir did. I was the first to speak since nobody else was. “I know you're pissed, but I love her. You have to understand something. She has always been mine.”
He scoffed clenching his fists pounding them on the surface. “I get it alright. I get the fact that you’re just as sick as Mikhail.”
Reaching across the table, I grabbed him by the throat and hissed. “Don’t say his fucking name! Not ever. He’s dead and never hurting anyone again.”
Never hurting Anna again…or anybody for that fact.
“Enough! Luka, sit your ass down and you,” He pointed a finger at Vladimir. “You have no right to criticize him for something you’ve done before. You fell in love with my mother and now you want to act like a fucking father to Anna. It’s a little too late to play daddy. It’s up to Anna if she decides to forgive you. So shut the hell up about it and move on.”
I sat there stunned as Nikolai continued to rant and rave. “And if she wants to be with Luka, then so be it. He makes her happy and that’s all I care about. I want her to be happy.”
We all sat in silence, not uttering a word. Nikolai had just defended my relationship with his sister. Something I had never in a million years expected him to do. I guess hell has finally frozen over. Vladimir sat there in disbelief glaring at me. I smiled curling my lips into a smirk.
“When the women get back, and we’re sitting here having a discussion, you are going to play nice. Both of you.”
“I’ll play nice if he does.” I stated.
He narrowed his eyes and scoffed. “Unbelievable. This total bullshit. He’s just going to break her heart. I can’t believe you’re actually allowing this to happen.”
“For god’s sake Vladimir, shut the hell up. Did you actually think I didn’t know what was going on? Why the fuck do you think I put him in charge of protecting her? When you came to me with the news of Luka and Anna, I was ecstatic. It’s my sister’s turn to have her happily ever after with her prince.”
“I don’t like it.” Vladimir muttered.
“You don’t have to like it, but you do have to act like you’re happy…for Anna’s sake.” Nikolai cocked his head to the side and curled his lips into a smirk. “Maybe if you play along, you’ll get your happy ending with my mother.”
“Don’t, please just don’t.” He choked out.
“I know you’re hurt, but please just try to be civil. I don’t want a bunch of drama going on while Lydia’s pregnant. It’s not good for her to be stressed out.”
“Fine.” He crossed his arms over his chest and leaned back.
“Now, let’s discuss Valentina.” Nikolai said folding his hands under his chin.
Valentina was a sore subject for Vladimir. The woman he fell in love with all those years ago was back in the picture, again. Making the memories of their time together resurface. Now, Nikolai wanted to discuss her with him. But who was I kidding, this was something that needed to be done.
It was long overdue.
I knew that.
Nikolai knew that.
And Vladimir did too.
Just didn’t want to admit it.
“I don’t want to discuss her. She made her fucking choice and walked away.” Vladimir clenched his jaw void of any emotion.
“Did you think this was just about Luka and my sister? You amuse me, Vladimir.”
“I’m done with this bullshit. I’m out of here.” Vladimir growled scooting his chair back.
“Sit the fuck down, we’re done when I say we’re done.” Nikolai placed his hand on the gun I’d given him earlier.
“No, I’m done here.” Vladimir turned and started to storm off towards the door. Nikolai picked up the gun and aimed in his direction pulling the trigger. Time seemed to slow down as I watched the scene play out. Vladimir froze as the bullet grazed his arm.
Just take a seat, Vladimir.
Be a good boy and sit like an obedient doggy.
“Shit, you fucking shot me…fucking shot me! What the hell is wrong with you?!” Vladimir gripped his arm wincing in pain.
“Relax,” Nikolai rolled his eyes and sighed as he laid the gun down. “I didn’t hit anything major…just a flesh wound. You can have your precious Fiona patch you up later.”
Nikolai curled his mouth in a knowing look as Vladimir glared. Valentina didn’t know about the things he’d been up to over the last few years. She had no clue he had been getting his freak on with Fiona and Markus.
“She doesn’t know, does she? I bet that would be an interesting conversation and a major mood killer, yes?” His grin widened into a joker’s smile. He had him and Vladimir knew that.
“Fine, what is it you really want?”
“That’s more like it. I want everyone to be civil to one another. It means no fighting or drama upsetting my Lydia. Everybody will get along for her and my sister’s sake. Am I fucking clear?”
Silence.
Nothing but the sound of the clock ticking could be heard.
“I said,” Nikolai leaned forward narrowing his eyes into slits. “Am I fucking clear?”
“Yes, boss, I heard you loud and clear.” Vladimir hissed.
“Good talk. Now run along and go get cleaned up.” He said waving him off.
“That was harsh, brother.”
He turned to me and smiled. “It needed to be done. Tell me, when are you going to propose to my sister?”
“I don’t know… I want to take it slow with her.” I replied scratching the back of my neck nervously.
“A little late for that, don’t you think?”
“I just want everything to be perfect for her. I need some time to plan something.” I replied.
“Just tell me when and I’ll prepare a dinner to announce the engagement.”
“Give me a few weeks to get the nerve to ask her. What if she says no?”
“Are you kidding me? My sister has been in love with you for years. Now get out of here, Lydia and the girls are due back any moment.”

Anna
"Luka, I want you to fuck me...right here, right now." I brushed the zipper with my fingernail.
His chest heaved up and down erratically as I pulled the zipper down. "I want you to shove me against the wall and spread my legs...I'm no longer the innocent virgin, Papa."
He sucked in a breath as my fingers rubbed across the head. He was oozing with sex. He wanted to slam into me, not caring that my brother might hear us.
"Fuck, baby girl!" He let out a guttural moan as I pumped him.
"Do you like this, Papa?"
"Yes...I...god, don't stop. No, turn around. I'm going to take you from behind."
"Yes! Fuck me, Luka." I moaned as he spun me around facing the wall.
"Hands on the wall. Do. Not. Fucking. Move." I placed my hands flat as he entered me.
"Oh, I need harder." I arched my back meeting his thrusts.
"You want me to destroy you...punish that pussy, baby girl?" He fisted my hair and yanked back my head.
"Yes, I want it all." I whispered.
I was the beauty to his beast.
The little red riding hood to the big, bad wolf.
I. Was. Always. His.
His to claim.
