Gregory POV
It's been a tough day for me to grab even one dinner order from the food court. Kent's fury eyes still haunting me. I was still trembling to remember that day. It's not my choice to accept Eloisa's offer but it was a last-minute favor, and I can't just ignore her when she called me that she was at Tagaytay and she rented a cabin for us. I know it's wrong and forbidden but how can I resist her if she was the one who teases me.
"Are you coming?” her voice was alluring that I cannot wait for another day.
I heard that today was Lucy's first day to be free as an inmate, so I decided to wait for her at the front gate, but I was shocked when she ran away from me. I just want to tell her what made me hesitate to visit her for five years. I have my reasons and problems too. I just want to protect her from Eloisa but she's stubborn to see me.
“Yeah, I'm on my way!” I replied and navigated to the city of Tagaytay.
I was coming from Makati, so it was a long way to drive. I got there at lunch. Eloisa texted me her location. I found it and she was waiting for me.

“No more questions! I have a clip of what we did a while ago. If you want to keep our secret to my husband, then you will do my request!” she said while holding the mini tape in her hands.
I had no choice. I did what she told me. I was the one who shot Lucy and dug a hole for her limp body. It wasn't Brian. He just helped me with the digging, but I was the one who did the killing.
After that day, Lucy's horrible face keep tormenting me.

Kent can't believe that Gregory killed himself.
He just arrived at the morgue. He didn't want to open the white cloth covering his body because he's not ready to see his friend who's now a dead person.
He quickly pulled out the cloth on his head and his lips parted to confirmed that it was him.
"Why? Why did you do it?” he said while looking at his friend's pale face.
He saw marks of ropes on his neck. Police said that they found him hanging from the ceiling with a tight rope binding his neck. He committed suicide. It was his case, but Kent couldn't believe that Gregory would kill himself. He was an ambitious man, and he wouldn't let himself die in poverty. This must be a murder. Someone killed him and sent will find out who was his killer. Since Lucy disappeared without a trace after she got out of prison, maybe they had the same abductor. The person who keeps or kills Lucy was the same one who abducts Gregory. He must go to his apartment to find evidence. Maybe a killer left evidence there.
“I will find whoever killed you!” he mumbled after heading his way to Gregory's house.

Eloisa received a text from Brian.
"He's dead. Don't panic. Everything is under control!” After reading his text, Eloisa quickly hides her phone when she saw Kent approaching inside her office.
She went to their company to check the issue about it.
“You're back. I thought you won't come anymore. Dilan Is looking for you. She calmly said to her husband.
Kent wasn't in his state since he lost Gregory.
"Have you heard the news? The police called me this morning." He answered back.
"What?” Eloisa asked him, trying to act like she doesn't know anything.
“Gregory is dead! Haven't you heard it? It's all over the headlines! Police said it was a suicide, but I think it's not!” Kent informed his wife and Eloisa looks sad after hearing the news.
“I didn't. I'm so sorry. He's a good friend of yours. Maybe it's about love? Does he have a girlfriend?” she wanted to twist Kent's theory.
Kent sat down on the empty chair on Eloisa's desk.
"I don't know. He's a busy person so I don't think he has time for his love life", it was his theory.
Eloisa shrugged her shoulders and just listened at Kent. Her husband had no idea that she was the one who ordered the assassination of his business partner Gregory.
”Poor Gregory. He's kind to me back then. Did Aunt Gemma know that her son was now dead? She's on vacation right?” Eloisa asked Kent while checking the documents on her desk.
Kent nodded and saw what's inside the folder. It's several votes from the board of directors about the stockholders to renew their contract.
"What happened? Did you hold a meeting?” he asked his wife and she nodded.
Kent frowned to find out that Eloisa is making her own decisions without consulting him as the owner of the company.
“What? Without me? Are you disrespecting me now, Eloisa?” Kent's loud voice echoed in the whole room.
Eloisa took a deep breath to calm herself. Kent has no idea that her dad bought the building under her name yesterday. Because Kent didn't know that their wedding was fake so there is no need to half their property as a couple.
She stood up and glared at Kent.
"Where are you yesterday and this morning? Should I wait for you to start the meeting?” She yelled at him.
“You would have called me!” Kent tightened his jaws in anger.
"I can't reach you! Why? I'm your wife so what's the fuss?” she wanted to explain everything to him.
Yes, Kent knew Eloisa was his wife but how about him as a man? What would the board of directors say if he let his wife handle the situation? They will think that he was not a man. He's afraid to face his responsibility as the CEO of Kings and Queens Hotel.
He clenched his fist and set an angry face at her.
“But I am your husband and the owner of this firm!” he defends himself, but Eloisa was very stubborn.
They stop yelling at each other when Mr. Paul came. He was Eloisa's dad. One of the highest-profile businessmen in the whole country.
"Both of you just shut up!” he shouted and when Kent and Eloisa saw him standing at the office door, both of them zipped their mouth and greeted him.
“Good morning, dad! When did you come?” Eloisa greeted her father. She ambled closer to him and gave him a kiss on his cheek.
Paul Sherlock was a very strange person. He's a snob and always making a straight face. Kent doesn't like him at all. He was only good to him because he was Eloisa's dad, his dad's business partner, and the VIP stockholder of the company, now under his name.
"Hi, dad. I'm sorry, we didn't hear you. Why didn't you tell—", he stops when his father-in-law didn't let him finish. He made a quiet sign.
“Enough! I can't help your company anymore. I heard bad reviews about your management and if I take back my share, I want you to make my daughter the new CEO! Do you understand?” he said, and Kent won't allow it.
This company was his life. He sacrificed everything even his happiness to manage this on his own.
"But Dad, I'm handling it better. Let me handle it. Eloisa didn't know anything about business!” he added.
Eloisa heard it and she reacted.
“What? Remember, we both graduated in Business Management!” she told her husband.
Paul decided to tell Kent the truth.
"Your dad sold this to me a long time ago. I want to keep this secret, but I had to choose. I let you handle it since you’re my daughter's husband but it's not improving. You see Gale and his wife penthouse, it's getting famous!” Mr. Sherlock said.
Kent didn't want to believe what he list heard today. His dad lied to him. How can he waste everything?
He decided to leave.
“I just need fresh air, excuse me!” he uttered and passed between them.

Lucy and Gale were both quiet. Gale's eyes were studying her movement. He quickly ran to catch her when she suddenly falls while reaching the book on the shelves. They're inside his library and Lucy offered to clean it.
They both stumbled on the floor. Gale's back hit on the surface while Lucy was on top of him. Their eyes met and it was his first time to see a closer look at her face. Kent was so lucky to have her. He's right. Lucy was quite appealing and alluring. Her rounded brown eyes look different from the other.
He could smell her strawberry perfume on her floral dress. He gently cupped Lucy's face to kiss her, but the sizzling moment faded when Lucy pushed him away.
"Hey, that’s not a part of the plan! No contact, right?” Lucy tried to change the mood, but Gale didn't let her go.
“What if I break the rules?” he whispered while pulling her face against him.
Gale was strong and he holds her shoulders and tossed her on the floor changing their position.
Lucy made eye contact with him. She started to panic when she realized that Gale was not fooling around. He's going to kiss her.
Lucy was about to talk but it's too late to react when Gale forcibly smashed his lips against her.
"Gale, please, stop!” She begs him to stop, but she can barely say anything through his rough kisses. Gale pinned her both arms to keep her from struggling.
“Lucy, please just let me. I think I'm falling for you!” he said and was about to kiss her again when Lucy kicks him in his balls.
"Ahhhh!!!” Gale whimpered in pain. He let go of Lucy.
Lucy stood up and fix her dress.
“What happened to you, Gale? Have you lost your mind?” she yelled at him.
Gale just realized what he did was wrong. It was his desire for her that made him act like a shit.

"I'm so sorry. I hope you understand. I think let's keep a distance first!” He said and walked out from the library.
Lucy's body was trembling after the incident. She can't believe that Gale would do that to her.

If he wants sex, this is the time to lure Kent to where they will meet.
An evil smirk came across her face.
