Two Months Earlier...
Gale took care of Lucy after she was buried alive by her abductor. While busy with his business and the penthouse he owned, he didn't neglect to help her.
While drinking a glass of wine on his mini bar inside the mansion, a great plan came up to his mind. He wanted to take down his brother and he can use Lucy to take her revenge on Eloisa and Kent too for making her life miserable.
He went to the cabin where he kept Lucy to protect her from the people who will go to hurt her. Because of Kent, she almost died.

Lucy POV
I was having hot milk on the terrace when I saw Gale's car stop in front of the house gate. I saw him smile while approaching me and I did the same.
"You want milk?” I said while raising towards him my mug.
“I'm good. I just came here to visit you and to propose a very important deal if you accept it!” he said and shook his head for the milk I offer.
Gale sat beside me and showed me a document inside the folder. He handed it to me, and I began to check it.
As I started reading it, it's about his marriage proposal to me. I was shocked and didn't know what to say.
"Don't worry, it's just a fake marriage. I think it's better this way since my brother and Eloisa will come home anytime!” Gale uttered with assurance.
I told him that I had to think about it first since this plan is very risky and I didn't want to have a connection to any guy right now. I'm afraid that I might fall into another trap again. I'm not saying that I don't trust Gale but to know that he's Kent's stepbrother, I feel a little skeptical about him.
Gale shrugged his shoulders, and I can see the sadness in his eyes. I think he was thinking the same as my thoughts. I wanted to cheer him up, so I accepted his proposal without checking it inside. Maybe his plan might work and think that it's my way to prove my innocence and to get revenge on them, sounds interesting and fulfilling.
“Okay, I accept it. But I will read this tonight and let’s see!” I said and Gale quickly cheered in happiness.
"Yes, I'm so excited to see Kent's eyes when he finds out that my wife looks like Lucy!” he yelped as he won in the lottery.
I just set my dearest smile at Gale. I feel blessed to meet him in my life. I thought Kent was my night and shining armor when we first met at the bar, but he wasn't. I didn't want to bring the past anymore, but he ruined my life. Gale whom I just bump somewhere came and saved me from danger. Even our friendship lasted in one day, after two years we reunited with an abrupt abduction to me. If he didn't come that day, maybe my body is now decayed filled with earthworms. He's a good Samaritan I met and my true night and shining armor.
I invited Gale for lunch to repay his kindness. I made a favor for him after visiting my dad in the Home of the Aged Center.
“Hmmm, smells good! Did you cook my favorite pork adobo?” he said while waiting excitedly at the dining table.
"Yeah!” I replied while putting the apron back on the shelf. I wash my hands after serving our meal and we started digging into the food I cooked.
I saw the sparks in his eyes when he filled the cooked pork inside his mouth.
“It's so good. I'm lucky to have a wife like you, Lucy!” he uttered, and I felt flattered about it.
I remember dad with this dish. When I was seven years old, he was the one who's in charge of the kitchen while my mom was working at the market. It was my first time to savor what pork adobo tasted like and I loved it. I wonder if dad recovered from his leg injury and if he was getting along well with his old pals. If I had the power and money of my own, I would have him with me. Of course, he wronged me many times but he's still my father and he's the only family I have.
Gale broke the silence when he told me that maybe it's good if I change my identity and my name.
"It's time to forget about Lucy Mason. She died last week. What if let's name you Greta? Sounds elegant right?” he told me and he's right.
I got shot and buried alive by a person I didn't know. I died and was reborn in the name of Greta.
“Sounds fine for me," I said and set a half-smile on my face.
After lunch Gale bid goodbye and I wish us good luck in our revenge plan.

After washing the plates and wiping off the table, I went back to the terrace where I can check the proposed deal between me and Gale.
As I flip each page one by one, I saw the words Rules and Regulations. He wrote the dos and don’ts of the marriage.
This was his proposal:
1. This deal will last until one of the parties decides to quit.
2. The couple should avoid meddling in each other's personal life and decisions.
3. No feelings involved, just business.
4. No intimate relationship, just friends.
5. Avoid being caught.
6. Focus on the plan.
7. The wife will live in her husband's mansion.
8. In public places, act like a real couple.
9. Live as Greta Stone until the revenge plan works.
10. Punishment to the traitors.
After reading Gale’s proposed deal, I decided to sign it. I quickly called Gale and told him to make the deal quicker and more official before Kent and Eloisa saw her as Lucy.
"Great! Well, to make you as Greta Stone, I will send my model friend to teach you how to act sophisticated and a true heiress of the Royal family." I was confused about who would be.
"So are we hiring my new pretend family?” I asked him on the other line. I was nervous thinking that I am going to be their fake daughter.
Gale chuckled a bit and answered me.
“Yes, we need it for your background status. Are you ready to be my wife, Lucy?” he asked me with his silly tune.
I laughed hard too.
"Yes, I am accepting you, Mr. Gale Stone, to be my husband!” I replied and we both set huge laughter on each other.

Kent's eyes widened when Gregory told him the truth about Lucy's disappearance.
“What did you say? Say it again or I'll kill you, Greg!” his lips quivered, and thrills started to immerse all over his body.
For Kent, it is not a good joke.
Gregory helped himself to get up and defend his side.
"Yes, I am telling the truth, Kent! I swear to bet my life on it!” he insisted.
The aghast feeling hit through him. His jaws tightened to hold his remorse.
“No, it can't be. She's alive and I saw her recently in the face of Gale's wife. She resembled Lucy!” Kent convinced his friend.
Suddenly, Gregory made a skeptical gaze.
"Is Gale married? When and to whom? I'm sorry but I heard it on the news, but I didn't have time to attend the Zeus Palace Anniversary!” He told Kent about it like he was surprised.
Kent nods his head.
“Yes, and his wife's name is Greta. Wait, I have a photo of her on my phone. I saved it just to make sure if she's Lucy or not." Kent told Gregory while showing the picture of Greta from his phone.
Gregory's eyes stretch wide open and almost drop his jaws after seeing Greta's face.
"Yeah, you're right. They look like twins. Did you approach her? What if she's not the Lucy we are looking for? What if she's just her replica?” He wanted to clarify what he saw to Kent.
But his friend won't accept the truth that Lucy is now a corpse and Greta was another person.
“Yes, I once approached her, and she got mad at me. She said I mistook someone for her, but I won't give up. I will do everything to find hints and evidence that she's the girl I love." Kent said and Gregory just took a deep breath and hold his friend's shoulders.

These two were on their serious conversation but someone followed them and tap something at Kent's car.
"You can't find the truth, Kent. Lucy is dead but you won't know until the day I die!” Eloisa mumbled after walking back inside her car.
She followed her husband to make sure that he can't find her real image.
She's the mastermind of everything until now.
