Chapter 68: Run Mia!

Ricky ran for his life across the garden.

Cloud dropped on all fours and phased into his beastly self, in a quick flash.

He chased Ricky and pounced on him, biting him hard on his arm.

Ricky cried out in pain, as Cloud held him down.

Kavyaa's heart hammered wildly in her chest as she let out a blood-curling scream at the sight before. Cloud let go of Ricky and turned his attention to his surprise spectator, across from him.

"MIA RUN AHH!" Ricky shouted noticing her as he fell on the ground. He got up to run the other way however Cloud got to Ricky blocking him within an instant. After Ricky backed away, Cloud charged at him, throwing his body against the tree, growling angrily.

His blood lust was strong, however, he had learned to control that wild beastly side to him immensely.

Unfortunately, sensing Mia on the ground not too far away, Cloud turned his attention towards her.

Kavyaa was so frozen with shock staring back at a grinning Cloud in beast mode. He could sense her heart pounding in fear as he stared back at him. Suddenly both their heads snapped to another man growling in an animalistic way around the corner.

"I'm telling you, Alpha Roman, Mia Chaves is not a normal girl! I can prove it!"

Mr Finlay said suddenly going down on all fours suddenly and transforming into his wolf.

Frightened to see yet another man turn into a beast, Kavyaa froze as Finlay's wolf came at her with great speed. Finlay howled in the air looking at Kavyaa as sudden fresh meat. His animal instinct had taken over his human side completely. Driven by hunger and rage to get her, Finlay picked up on speed charging right at her.

Kavyaa let out a blood-curdling scream as the angry wolf barred its teeth at her.

In a quick flash, a hand came around her waist and pushed her behind.

Alpha Roman got to Kavyaa and quickly shielded her before the attacking, bloodthirsty wolf got too close to her frightened shivering body.

With one powerful punch, Finlay's wolf went flying back harshly.

"That won't be necessary."

She couldn't believe her eyes. She looked back at the masked man frightened yet amazed at the same time. He just punched a huge wolf?!

Roman went to levitate Finlay's wolf body off of the ground and Kavyaa went speechless. He wasn't lying when he said he had powers at that time. She watched in shock and horror as he crashed the wolf, up against the garden wall, breaking the stone wall easily.

"You shouldn't be outside tonight."

Roman said turning darkly towards Kavyaa.

"Wh...Who are you, Alpha Roman?!" Kavyaa stuttered in her frightened condition.

There were 3 people whom she could easily think of, Jaxson, Klaus and Ethan.

Roman drew closer towards her, and Kavyaa felt the danger in his dangerous aura. A certain dangerous aura that she'd felt before.

She didn't even need to remove his mask to know.

"Ee..Ethan?" She spoke with water brimming her eyes.

{R} She can sense us?!

"Get back inside the house." He yelled through his deep robotic voice masked by the black demon mask he was wearing.

Roman glowed his silver eyes at her, causing Kavyaa to gasp in fear.

The will to take off his mask and bite down on her neck was getting to him, especially when she figured out who he was.

Finlay wasn't staying on the ground. He was angry at his Alpha for not hearing him out and he simply couldn't get Mia out of his head.

Cloud was still on edge and Klaus and Chiyo quickly calmed him down, by blocking his path. With their Alpha now in full defence mode, there was no way that any wolf would dare get near him.

Nico, Rui and Nabi rushed towards the scene and quickly transformed into their wolves to keep Finlay's wolf at bay.

However, Finlay was a strong senior wolf.

Stronger than the junior betas in training.

Snarling and growling at his unlawful science teacher. In an attempt to get him back into the woods, the young betas attacked him.

Finlay on the other hand was quite stronger. He attacked all of them and angrily looked towards Alpha Roman. Feeling betrayed that he was refused to listen to him and take her side instead. That b1tch was more trouble than he thought.

Kavyaa gasped seeing Finlay's wolf leaping angrily in the air towards them.

"LOOK OUT!" Kavyaa quickly pushed Roman out of the way.

With immense fright gripping Kavyaa's body, Finlay's eager wolf charged directly towards her, sensing her weakness towards him.

It growled out angrily, bared its sharp-looking teeth at her and just as it was about to bite at her.

//BANG//

The wolf whimpered out in pain.

Within a split second, the wolf phased into a very dead, naked-looking Mr Finlay. He was shot dead right at it's neck.

Kavyaa turned her head towards a calm approaching Roman who placed his gun at the back of his belt. He came towards the dead-looking body then pulled out his claws and slashed Mr Finlay's head off in one powerful stroke, releasing a low powerful growl, sending shivers down Kavyaa's spine.

"No one touches my mate."

Roman then retracted his sharp-looking claws and then turned towards Kavyaa who slowly stood up, looking back at him fear locked in her eyes. Her heart hammered inside of her as he turned around to face her.

{R}: Cazzo!

{E}: She wasn't supposed to be out here!

Roman just killed someone, with his claws?!

Was she next too?

"Kavyaa?"

{R}: Her heart is beating fast.

{E}: After watching us kill her stalker, she thinks we're going to kill her next.

{R}: We would never hurt her!

Her palms are sweaty, her knees weak, arms are heavy. She didn't pay any mind to Roman, calling out to her.

All she knew was she needed to get the hell out of there. She slowly turned on her heel, trying to do her best to focus.

She started running away from him. Kavyaa took a look back at the ruthless killer with silver glowing eyes behind his black Yokai mask.

However, he no longer was behind her. Kavyaa then crashed into a sudden wall.

"Going somewhere, sweetheart?" He asked in his thick deep low robotic voice.

Sensing his powerful dangerous aura, Kavyaa gasped in fright as she slowly backed away from him.

"You know you can't run away, from me."

Kavyaa's eyes brimmed with tears. She could no longer fight her shock.

Werewolves were real?!

She hadn't seen Alpha Roman phase, but that claw-like hand, not to mention his fierce glowing silver eyes had already been a dead giveaway.

Her knees fell weak, as he drew closer, watching her like a hawk, as she panted out in fear, with hot tears escaping. Her vision grew blurry by the second.

"I'll never let you escape."

Hearing that, reminded her of the dragon man. He'd been warning her about Roman this whole time, and she didn't believe him.

Never escape?

"No." She whispered feeling like she was caught in a bad trap.

Unable to stand due to his high powerful energy freaking her out, Kavyaa stumbled backwards over a small rock.

Kavyaa saw his silver eyes looming down at her, and a hot hand reaching out to catch her fall.

"You're going nowhere." Was the last thing she heard him say, as darkness finally curtained her eyes.

"Thanks for everything Jaxson."

The sound of her friend easily woke Kavyaa up.

She was surprised to see herself back in her room.

The events of last night easily rushed through her mind rapidly.

Werewolves?! She was surrounded by werewolves all this time! Now that she thought about it, the wild animal presence had started from the day she'd met Kane.

She couldn't deny the truth. Not when she also recalled Mark's wild aura.

Was he a wolf too?!

Who was she kidding?! With an aura close to that of Ethan's of course Mark was!

Wait had she run into his actual self before, when she had a run-in with Kane out in the woods 3 months ago?!

Cloud and Mr Finlay turn into

Ricky was attacked and saw was crazy psycho Mr Finlay.

If it wasn't for Roman quickly getting to her, she would have been dead meat!

A wild chill ran down her spine.

How the hell did she come back to her room?

The last thing she remembered was crashing into Alpha Roman. Trying to run away from him, then passing out somehow. She recalled everything he said to her before she passed out.

Tears blurred her vision once more as her heart raced. Was a monster keeping her here all to himself?! Kavyaa quickly wiped her oncoming tears.

'Don't panic.' She reminded herself.

'Remain absolutely calm Kavyaa. If you freak out about the truth, Roman will never let you out of his castle.'

The dragon man in her dreams had been right all along.

She really was his prisoner.

What was going to happen next? More tears blurred her vision, as an awful bad feeling settled in her gut.

"Mia?" A knock on the door came through.

Quickly wiping away her oncoming tears Kavyaa got up and opened up the door.

As she greeted Jaxson and her friend, she put a smile on her face, as though nothing had ever happened.

"Mia, good morning. How was your sleep last night?" Jaxson asked sharply in his pleasant tone.

Jaxson, was it you behind that mask?

Kavyaa was still unsure.

"Fine." She spoke, easily hiding her shock and horror from yesterday's startling events.

Jaxson nodded not entirely convinced about what she said, and walked away down the hall pulling out his phone.

"Mia, c'mon we're going to be late, so hurry up and get ready." Seo-In quickly said already dressed in her school uniform.

Kavyaa nodded. Perhaps she could escape without them noticing soon.
