"Now," Lucas said, his voice dropping to a low, seductive tone that sent shivers down her spine. "First, how about we order dessert and another bottle of wine? Then, we've got two options here, baby girl."
He leaned in closer, his breath hot against her ear. "We can either bitch about your idiot ex or..." He paused, his blue eyes darkening with desire. "I can tell you exactly what I plan on doing to you tonight, if you choose to come home with me, that is."
Emily's breath caught in her throat. She felt a familiar heat pooling low in her belly, her body responding instantly to his words.
"Fuck," she whispered, her voice husky. "That's not even a choice, Daddy."
Lucas grinned, a predatory gleam in his eye. He signalled the waiter, ordering a bottle of red and two slices of chocolate cake without taking his eyes off Emily.
As the waiter retreated, Emily leaned forward, her heart racing. "So," she said, licking her lips. "Tell me, Daddy. What exactly do you have planned for your baby girl tonight?"
The clink of glasses and murmur of conversation faded into white noise as Lucas slid into the seat beside Emily. His arm snaked around her shoulders, tugging her close until his lips brushed her ear.
"First," he murmured, his breath hot against her skin, "I'm going to peel that dress off you, inch by tantalising inch."
Emily's breath caught. A shiver raced down her spine.
"Then," Lucas continued, his voice a low rumble, "I'll explore every curve with my hands and mouth until you're trembling beneath me."
Heat bloomed in Emily's cheeks. She gripped her wine glass, knuckles white.
'Fuck, is it getting warm in here?' she thought, pulse quickening.
Lucas' fingers trailed along her collarbone. "I'll tease you until you're begging, baby girl. And only then..." He nipped her earlobe gently. "Only then will I give you exactly what you need."
Emily swallowed hard, desire coiling low in her belly. "Jesus, Lucas," she breathed.
He chuckled, a wicked glint in his eyes. "Too much?"
"Not enough," Emily replied, surprising herself with her boldness.
Emily's breath caught as Lucas' tongue traced the delicate curve of her ear. A shiver rippled through her body, settling low in her belly. His hot breath fanned across her neck as he whispered huskily:
"I want to see those pretty lips of yours wrapped around my cock, baby girl. On your knees, looking up at me with those big green eyes."
Heat bloomed across Emily's cheeks. Part of her wanted to be scandalized by his boldness, but a bigger part thrilled at the raw desire in his voice. She bit her lip, trying to quell the ache building between her thighs.
"Fuck," she breathed. "You can't just say things like that in public."
Lucas chuckled, the sound rumbling through his chest. "Why not? No one else can hear me." His fingers trailed along her collarbone. "Besides, I love watching you squirm."
Emily's heart raced. She glanced around the dimly lit restaurant, suddenly hyper-aware of their surroundings. The other diners seemed oblivious, but she still felt exposed.
"You're terrible," she muttered, but there was no real heat behind the words.
"Terribly good at making you wet, you mean," Lucas retorted with a cocky grin.
Emily smacked his chest lightly. "Ass."
Emily's heart raced as she turned her head, her lips brushing Lucas' neck. The taste of salt and cologne filled her senses as she traced a wet line up to his ear. Her teeth grazed his earlobe, eliciting a sharp intake of breath from him.
"I want that too," she purred, her voice husky with desire. "I want to see you come apart. Drive you crazy with need."
Lucas' fingers tightened on her shoulder, his breathing ragged. Emily revelled in the effect she was having on him. For once, she felt powerful, in control.
"Careful, baby girl," he growled. "You're playing with fire."
Emily smirked, emboldened by the wine and the electricity crackling between them. "Maybe I like getting burned."
Her hand slid up his thigh under the table, feeling the hard muscle. Lucas' eyes darkened dangerously.
The rich aroma of chocolate cake wafted through the air as the waiter placed two decadent slices before Emily and Lucas. Emily's fingers trailed lazily up Lucas' thigh, her touch feather-light yet electrifying. She took a bite of the moist cake, letting out a soft moan of pleasure.
"Mmm, this is divine," Emily purred, licking a spot of chocolate from her lower lip. Her eyes locked with Lucas', a mischievous glint sparkling in their emerald depths.
Lucas shifted in his seat, his muscles tensing under her roaming hand. "Glad you're enjoying yourself, baby girl," he murmured, voice husky.
Emily leaned in close, her breath hot against his ear. "Oh, I am. But I can think of something I'd enjoy even more." Her hand inched higher, dangerously close to the growing bulge in his pants.
"Fuck," Lucas hissed, gripping his fork tightly. "You're playing with fire, Em."
She smirked, taking another bite of cake. The sweetness exploded on her tongue, heightening her other senses. Every brush of skin, every heated glance felt magnified.
Her heart raced, a delicious mix of nerves and arousal coursing through her veins. What had gotten into her? She'd never been this bold before. But something about Lucas brought out a wilder side she didn't know she possessed.
Lucas' hand covered hers, stilling its upward trajectory. "Careful what you wish for," he warned, eyes dark with desire. "I might just give you exactly what you're asking for."
A shiver of anticipation ran down Emily's spine. "Promise?"
Emily's fingers danced over the firm bulge in Lucas' pants, eliciting a sharp intake of breath from him. The tension between them was electric, crackling in the air of the upscale restaurant.
"Fuck," Lucas muttered under his breath. He quickly raised his hand, signaling for the waiter. "Can we get the bill, please."
Emily smirked, continuing her teasing ministrations. "In a hurry, are we?"
Lucas leaned in close, his lips brushing her ear. "Finish your damn dessert, baby girl. I've got plans for you tonight, and I intend to make good on every single promise."
A shiver ran down Emily's spine at his words. She took another bite of chocolate cake, savouring the rich flavour on her tongue. Part of her wanted to drag this out, to keep Lucas on edge. But a larger part was desperate to get him alone.
"Your wish is my command," she purred, licking a spot of chocolate from her lower lip.
Lucas' eyes darkened with desire as he watched her. "Christ, you're killing me here."
The waiter appeared with the bill. Lucas hastily pulled out his wallet and tossed some notes on the table, hardly even bothering to check the amount.
Emily's heart raced as she contemplated what was to come. This was moving fast - maybe too fast. But the chemistry between them was undeniable. For once in her life, she decided to silence her overthinking brain and just go with it.
"Ready when you are," she said, rising from her seat on slightly shaky legs.
Lucas stood as well, placing a possessive hand on the small of her back. "Let's get out of here before I decide to take you right on this table."
Emily laughed, a mix of nerves and anticipation fluttering in her stomach. "Now that would be quite the show for our fellow diners."
As they made their way out of the restaurant, Emily caught sight of their reflection in a mirror. She hardly recognized the woman staring back - flushed cheeks, eyes bright with desire. For the first time in a long time, she felt truly alive.
