Chapter 32 Rosario Ferrari

Chapter 32 Rosario Ferrari
32\. Rosario Ferrari

Damien's POV

"Take her home safely, Nelson."

"Rest assured, Alpha."

I looked in the back seat after instructing Nelson to drive home safely. Aura was tired of the long flight and sleepy.

"Take care, love. I have already instructed Miss. Martha to prepare your bed. She'll take care of you." I said looking at her through the window, our hands combined together.

She was so exhausted that her heavy eyes could not stay open. Aura smiled at me as she asked me to give her regards to Brian. She had insisted on coming with me to the hospital but I refused. I wasn't blind to ignore her weary facade, was I?

Her body was trembling. She needed deep rest since her first ever trip had got the best of her.

"See you soon, love." I bid her once the engine started and the car moved further.

Aura turned around to wave her hand at me. I continued to stare at the car until it was not gone out of my site.

We just landed in Manhattan and despite the tiredness, I wished to go see my beta. Hence, the car that has come to pick us up, I sent Aura in it as I myself made my way to the line of cabs.

Having caught one for myself, I directed the driver to drive me to the hospital.

When I reached there, my blood boiled at the look in front of me. Brian looked less paler in the video call. It pricked my heart to see my Beta like that. What hurt me more was the bandage on his cheek.

I swear I'll kill the bastard whoever dared target him if his face is scarred after surgeries.

"Any information about the lory?" I asked one of my employees who was here at the hospital for Brian.

He quickly pulled out his phone and handed it to me, "The Lory belongs to Bayleaf Corporation, sir."

My eyes darkened and lips pursed together. I looked over my shoulder at my employee in anger while he moved away.

"You sure, it belongs to Bayleaf corporation?"

"Y-yes alpha." He said pointing at the phone at the pdf he had opened to show me.

"According to the CCTV footage we acquired of the main road, we managed to track down the number of the lory. And upon inquiry we found out that it was registered under Bayleaf's name." He said while I was going through the evidence he had gathered.

I somewhat suspected the Bayleaf's CEO since he is my biggest rival at present. He has promised to evict peace out of my life soon. No doubts, he is a man of his words. But my Beta... I raised my head to watch Brian through the circular glass window in the door of his ward. He was sleeping with machines attached to him. He should not have targeted my Beta.

"What did the doctors say about his recovery?" I questioned with eyes fixed at Brian's face.

"They injected him with some strong elixir for quick recovery. His wolf is doing nice."

"That's good." I was at least relieved to hear that.

"We can expect to see him fully recovered in two days or a week." I smiled with a nod of head at my employee's disclosure.

It also caused me to rub my hands since they were itching. "That's good to hear— because someone else is going to replace Brian's spot in this bed. Just that I'll make sure he does not recover as quickly as he did."

"Alpha?" I was stared confusingly by the custodian with his body temperature falling in amazement.

"Give me the car keys." His fingers trembled but he somehow managed to pull out the keys from his black trousers and handed it to me.

"Should I accompany you, Alpha?" He asked.

I gladly turned him down with a move of my head, "Let me keep up with my notorious image, Tyler! Since how long will you guys take my back? It's been a while since I hurt my knuckles." he was confused at my words.

I gave a light pat on his shoulder and stared at him seriously now, "I want you to take care of Brian and communicate his updates with me. Meanwhile, I will go put my body to work." I said cracking my knuckles.

"Bayleaf Corporation, where trust is built and maintained with relationships. My arse!"

I came out of the car reading the tagline of the concerned company on a big screen above the main entrance in italics.

'Damien, how about you let me do it? It's been a while since I bit into someone's skin and tore it.' Hunter my wolf said as I headed my way ahead through the security panel of Bayleaf.

The guards were still in their spots when they noticed me. Two of them advanced forward to interrupt my walk but when I took my sunglasses off, they gulped their saliva and backed away. My scorching eyes were enough to scare them off.

"Thanks but I'd like to face him like this— in the human form. I am sure you wouldn't want to insult yourself by demonstrating yours abilities on an irking stupid human." He agreed with me and never disturbed me again while I covered further distance inside the office building.

The receptionist and others who set their eyes on me gasped. Their bodies froze the very moment their eyes landed on me as I went for the elevator not because I am the Alpha but because the owner of this company and I are arch rivals.

I am well versed with the map of this company building so I don't have to ask the receptionist where I would find the man I had come here for.

The elevator escalated at its gradual speed as I took a corner to lean in and scroll through my phone. I was supposed to go to the thirtieth floor hence whenever the lift halted on any floor, the waiting crowd didn't dare enter it as they let me go upwards alone.

You see my aura. No, not Aura, my darling! But the Aura I possess— of a billionaire that seems good on television but a badass in real life.

I have been a jerk in my university days. I sent many to hospitals for months and picked fights unnecessarily. And the guy I was going to face in some time— was one of them.

If I was fire, he was ice. Like the Sea and the sky. We have lots in common but one thing he lacks is that— something invaluable which I possess.

The door of the elevator sharply opened, providing me a glimpse of the glass door I broke with a hard punch. "Rosario Ferrari!" I growled as fury spiked my senses just by setting my eyes on him.

His blues stared in my blazing yellows from between two suited men who were seated in the visitor's chairs. His mouth unclasped to say something but I didn't give him a chance.

A tough blow of my punch and his chair lost its balance, taking him to the floor, face down.
