Chapter 30 "No way, Brian can't— Which hospital?"
30\. "No way, Brian can't— Which hospital?"
Next day,
"Oh my god! This is lovely." When a white-washed, glimmering like melting snow under sunshine, yacht was introduced to her and alpha Damien by the liason, she can't suppress her excitement.
Aura jumped like a rabbit and kissed her alpha darling on his cheek, so much as forgetting that the liaison was staring just at them. She was just so happy and it came out in the face of sweet kiss she presented her Alpha.
"I am glad you liked it, love." Damien flashed a grin that communicated a thousand feelings.
He thanked the liaison and having shaken hands with him, he jumped in the yacht, following his mirthful Aurora.
Alpha Damien brought his darling Aurora to the famous Port of Cape Town post breakfast. It was after she mentioned, at the breakfast table, when they were relishing a meal in the rear area of the house which connected it to the beach, under a big colorful umbrella sheltering their heads.
"I love when the waves rustle. It's fun to watch them chasing each other and collapsing at the shore. Sometimes I wonder how it would be to see them from close— when they emerge in the middle of the sea and travel all the way to the shore. I just... Love waves." She had said playing with her fork while her pasta was getting cold.
What's after that! Damien commenced a mission of fulfilling her dream right at the very moment.
He completed his pasta, made her eat her own too. He told her to get ready and in the meanwhile he rented a luxurious yacht for. When he returned, Aura exhilarated him with her dressing. A perfect summer dress leaving her shoulder bare and long legs at the mercy of eyes.
She was getting bold with time. Damien did love it, but at the same time, he felt possessive. He was afraid vultures might approach her just by looking at her beauty. He wanted to keep reserved to himself. All to himself.
He was taking in her view when she came out hastily and hugged him. She showed off her dress to him as she mentioned that she wanted to wear something like that EXCLUSIVELY for him.
That alone was enough to kick away the thoughts of vultures. No freaking vulture so much as brave exists who'd dare to snatch his Aura away from him. Vultures don't have canines, he does. That too... Big and nasty ones. He thought, smirking at his luck and choice.
"Damien... Look, seagulls." She snapped him back to reality as she pushed him by the collar.
Alpha Damien smiled and joined her, his hands holding the banister of the yacht, as they stood admiring seagulls sailing in the sky.
More than the glowing water under a radiating sun, Damien loved Aura and her happiness. She was more than just delighted. She was.... Growing out of her shyness.
He was literally forced to wonder if she was the same Aura he had met three years back after her parents' death? She was so shy. So fragile, though it was still like that. But boldness. Damn it! Look at her dress. It was full backless and tied by a thin string behind her neck with a knot— that Alpha Damien so wanted to yank at and release her dress.
Nevertheless, he only wrapped his itching hands around her waist. His head rested at her head under his chin as he grinned listening to her blabbering. She was talking about flying like a bird and random stuff which made little to no sense to him. It was her exhilaration that spoke.
"I've been speaking for a long time. Why don't you reply?" She huffed, showing him her pouty mouth.
His shoulders stiffened and eyebrows raised in anxiety. Hell, he needed to control his bloody libido. Her pout was cute. Yes, he wanted to kiss her but not all so soon. She deserved to enjoy this trip. She deserved to live her dream and that's why he bought her here.
"Damien,"
"Ouch!" She pinched him in the stomach and split his trance.
Damien moved backwards stroking the pinched area as she glared at him.
"Say something." She demanded.
He had plenty of things to say, but at the moment, he only smiled and naughtily uttered, "I love you." making her mouth form into a big O.
It was not Damien's turn to show her his ember eyes sternly, faking his anger obviously.
"What? You wanted me to say something, right? I said I love you. Now happy?" He controlled his laughter as he sunk in her racial expressions.
Aura made a weeping face. She pushed him away with a jerk that he stumbled away by some steps while she walked past him, not to forget the punches she launched at his bicep angrily.
" Hey, Aura!" He followed her.
Alpha Hunter encapsulated her wrist, igniting a fire of ecstacy between them. The circuit of passion Aura loved was completed when he pulled her close and kissed her. It hit right between her legs, making her squirm.
His needy lips moved softly on hers. It was delicate like a touch of flower petal. Damien alongside brushed the pad of his fingers on her back, leaving a trace of burning sensation behind. As hot as he was, Aura can feel the heat transferring on her skin.
She set her eyes clasped tightly. Her mouth remained still and unmoving as she let him do the deed. This feeling was lovely. She wanted to capture as much as possible in her memories.
Alpha Damien bent forward for deep access and hissed. He wanted her to respond. Her stillness was not appreciable. The kiss wasn't feeling like it should be as she was not participating in it. He punched her waist making her open her mouth and entered his tongue in her mouth.
He was aware of his effect on her. He was sure that his sexy move would make her respond. Had they hung there a little bit more, she would have certainly responded but the bloody buzzing of his phone ruined it.
"Ughh," As she tapped on his shoulder to part away, Alpha Damien obeyed as he showed his frustration.
They have not even got there. However, he was unaware of the bolt of thunder that was about to befall on him.
"It could be important, Damien. You were on a business trip here, don't forget!" Aura said moving aside.
She walked away and facing the sea. While she occupied herself with sighting, Alpha Damien smiled and pulled his phone out.
"Dexter. What does he want now?" He muttered before bringing the phone near his ear.
No sooner had a second passed by than Alpha Damien's expressions transfixed and clouded with bewilderment. His eyes popped out and mouth grasped, "No way, Brian can't— Which hospital?" He choked, looking back at Aura, who was busy bathing the seagulls with her lovely glance.
