Chapter 24 His dirty imagination
24\. Badboy Alpha and his badass imagination.
"It was good to see you today, Alpha Damien. We look forward to a successful working relationship with you. Have a good night."
Damien forced his lips into smiles and forced grins at every such remark he received from the members who were a part of today's meeting. His head tiringly motioned in acknowledgement as his new clients greeted him before leaving the conference hall.
The meeting was a success. He could accomplish the deal he has come here for. After it was wrapped up and his South African clients took their leaves, Damien rested back in the chair and shut the windows to his soul close.
He was tired. Way too tired. Or should we say that he was not able to take a breath of relaxation ever since he left his mansion.
His peace was left back in his villa with— Aurora.
Yeah. Since the moment he stepped out of that manor, Damien neither felt relieved nor happy. There was always a rock of indefinite and indescribably heavy feeling weighing his chest.
So to avoid it from weighing down on him more... He adopted various ways.
One was to hang out with hot chicks— which unluckily did not work! Every time a pretty lady touched him or he neared them, that gorgeous housekeeper whom he had fallen in love with came striking his brain. Her face would flash before his eyes and he would flinch away from the women that tried to make him feel awesome.
Secondly, he tried catching up with his Ex-girlfriend and sought to meet them at the famous club of Cape Town that is always under the surveillance of paparazzi. Damien had hoped that when his news of catching up with Ex-girlfriends would flare in the news, he would be able to distract himself away from Aurora— but hell! That didn't work either.
Thirdly Alpha Damien tried to castigate his lungs (instead of heart) with heavy consumption of alcohol for falling in love with her. Regardless, the more he drank the stronger her memories hit him and harder it became to stop thinking about her.
Lastly Damien determined it was work that can only keep her thoughts at bay. He was tantalized as it did work! Keeping himself occupied with work did work and it helped Damien to abstract her from his head for some time. But to his dismay, it could not help him forget her. He still missed her. Missed her badly.
"Ugh, I feel so busted!" He sighed and lifted his arms over his head to give them a nice stretch.
His muscled frame was wary. Damien's bulging biceps ached while his puffed chest burned in scorching heat of need. Need of her hugs. Need of her perky breasts compressing against his torso. His shoulders missed the tender stay of her hesitant arms. His eyes craved a look of her face like a child craves for his mother's. And his lips... Well, Alpha Damien had tormented his mouth with frequent biting and nibbling. They desired to taste Aurora more than anything else. The scent of her strawberry lip gloss seemed to be lingering somewhere in the air near his nostrils like he was right in front of him.
Albeit.... It was his imagination. Just imagination.
'I miss her like hell.' Alpha thought to himself as he got up from his chair.
Today's day was the busiest of all the days he's ever worked on. From two respective online conferences with Saudi Arabia's richest Sheikhs of three hours each; to this hectic five hours long meeting... Alpha Damien spent the whole day working.
The work he was supposed to finish in a week was accomplished by him in a few days. Now he can happily go back to his mansion since all the required meetings were done.
"No! I cannot go back to Manhattan. Not after what transpired between us. I crave for her touch... I can't forget that she doubted me. She doubted my love for her. Could it get any worse? Nope."
Alpha Damien exited the conference hall, twisting his mouth in irritation. He was still sour from the accusation that was put on him. It felt like he was penalized for a death sentence for something he never did. The feeling was that vigor.
"She doubted me today. She can doubt me tomorrow as well. It's not like she loves me, does she?" He was talking to himself.
It was more of complaining.
"She was right that I don't deserve her. I don't deserve her coz she deserves better than me. And I hope she gets that better guy soon as I am ultimately out of her life. I was never her guy in the first place." He stepped into the elevator and slumped against the mirror whilst dropping his gaze to the floor.
He despised his own eyes. They were dull. His pupils which used to sparkle like glowing embers discerned sick and pallid. It was as if they lost their lustre. All thanks to... Well, Damien refused to go there.
He. Wanted. To. Forget. Her.
"Hell! Why am I thinking this again and again. I'll forget her means I'll forget her. Period." He kind of grunted and twisted his shoulders.
"Didn't I promise myself to not think about her? I did right. So yes Damien... Let's think about something else. Something that's hotter and wilder than her.
Mmm... Let's imagine hot sexy girls— naked! Let's think about gorgeous babes in bikinis." Alpha Damien resolved to revitalize his thinking by changing the route of his thoughtfulness.
'What about a hot girl opening her legs for you, Alpha Damien? Wouldn't that be a cool sight?' As the door of the elevator unfastened, his wolf's voice rang in his head.
'Yeah... Let's think about wet pssies and hard npples. Right Damien?' His wolf's remark was a slap of mockery.
Damien rolled his eyes disinterestedly and headed further to the parking lot.
He beamed annoyingly for his wolf to growl at and reverted, "Not bad, wolfy! Would love a blonde babe spreading her legs for me. Someone with soft round boobs just like Aura's."
No sooner had it come out of his lips than Alpha Damien stopped in his tracks. He was petrified at his own thinking while his wolf snickered at him.
Well here.. They were back at square one. Alpha Damien— was back at square one.
'Soft round boobs like who?' Damien bit the tip of his tongue, feeling marred.
There's no doubt that he failed with his determination of 'not thinking' about her. What froze him was that everything about women's anatomy made him compare it with hers. She was perfect. Her figure melting in the grip of his arm was indescribable and couldn't come from any woman. She was an exceptional case of beauty and innocence. She was what Damien had only imagined in his dreams. That woman was a nymph on earth.
It was arduous to talk about pretty women and not compare their softness with hers. He just couldn't stop it!
'Yes Damy, I was asking whose soft round boobs did you just refer to?'
"Uh, Aura's." Alpha Damien quietly answered his wolf.
"It's Aura's body I want to imagine." He confessed, making Hunter serious for some while.
"But now she's only in my imagination." Damien heaved, halting in the middle of his track.
Loving her was easy. Forgetting her was the hardest part. Alpha Damien was unsure whether he'd ever be able to forget her. He was that alpha who could acquire any deal wanted, buy any invaluable object of this work with a snap of his fingers. But love.... Ugh, love could neither be acquired via skills nor be bought with money.
'You can acquire her love, Damien. All you need to do is— call her.'
Never minding his wolf' s suggestion, Alpha Damien approached his car as he preferred to not answer him anything.
His guard was waiting for him patiently. When he noticed his Alpha coming towards him, he straightened his back to greet him.
"Go back to your Suite, I'll drive myself." Alpha Damien did not allow the poor guard to react as he slipped in the driver's seat and fired the engine.
In no time, he was on the road. It was invariably silent today. It perceived like maddening silence before a destructive storm.
After half an hour's ride he reached his beach house. Not house exactly.... Just a place to stay.... Nothing more. Damien didn't have a home. Not before. Not now. Not ever. He was a homeless Alpha with a billion dollar empire. He was an owner of several villas yet none to call it as his home.
Having the car pulled inside the garage he came inside the house with a gritted jaw and tired frame. Damien headed to the kitchen directly and fetched some water.
Though he had not eaten anything since the morning, he was not hungry. There was nothing to eat either. So while loosening his tie just as he began his stride to his bedroom, his heart throbbed!
No, it was not a throb associated with anxiety or alertness. It was a throb with a thousand indefinite feelings and undefined meanings.
"Who the hell is there in my room?" His shoulders erected and he mumbled between his clenched teeth.
A sweet aroma of jasmine invaded his nostrils. He can hear something tinkling on the other side of the door while he stood holding the knob of the portal between his heated hold.
He was already pissed off and the perception of having an intruder inside his bedroom did nothing but tick a muscle at his jaw.
Nevertheless, as he clicked the door open, "OHHH MYYY GODDD?!!!" Alpha's body turned into a mush while his eyes popped out of their sockets.
Tbc...
