Chapter 125 You didn't come here. You were summoned, Alpha Damien.

Chapter 125 You didn't come here. You were summoned, Alpha Damien.
125\. You didn't come here. You were summoned, Alpha Damien.

"Da-damien," The one and only name she's been chanting since her abduction quivered on the tip of her tongue.

The fog of fear subsided, leaving her with ever so clear vision. She restlessly looked behind her back only to melt on the ground and take a sigh of relief, "Y-you came. You finally came to save us, Damien."

Aura's heart throbbed in her chest for her husband was here in his ever so intense glory. There was a bow in his arms and a holder of an arrow put around his left shoulder, as it hung slantingly, resting on his back. His eyes glowed no less than enraged sun as his tightly set jaw twisted in anger.

Many more footsteps thudded around her. She saw a troop of armed men coming inside through the front. It was her husband's army. All dressed up in black with holsters put on, hands carrying huge guns and a look of vengeance on their faces. Alongside their Alpha, they shot the enemy's army dead.

She could not take her eyes away from Damien though. He took aim and released his arrows at the men firing in the air before kneeling down on the floor to take another calculated shot at a man advancing towards the wolf protecting Anna under himself.

As the man behind the wolf kissed the ground, Aura's streaming gaze stuttered. She controlled her sobs and looked in the eyes of the wolf as he finally looked up.

"Brian," It was him, Anna's Godfather.

It has to be him. That possessive air around him and how protectively he was covering Anna. The way he tucked Anna's visible fist under his fur with a huge front paw and licked it before coming to gaze at her… only her godfather could do that.

However, one thing was off about him. His teary eyes and the trickling tears. He was crying.

"Aura, no!" Damien screamed at her back but she managed to take a run towards Brian.

She quickly bent down thus avoiding a bullet that would have struck right through her neck if she didn't bend at the right time. Alpha Damien growled and shot an arrow through the head of the shooter while Aura hugged Brian.

"I am so glad that you came," She had more to say but wetness under her hands made her look up.

Brian weakly whimpered as her hands clutched tightly around his fur. When she pulled her hands back, she saw blood coating her palms red.

"Brian?!" Her mouth dropped as she realized it was his blood.

Brian was shot in various places. He was breathing weakly and his blood was all under him and around them, spreading further and further.

"Brian, you are shot." A sparkle of tears silvered her eyes like mirrors as she hugged him. "Y-you took bullets for Anna. Thank you."

With an abrupt sweep of his head Brian whimpered as if expressing his disappointment at being thanked. He was her godfather and he would do it for his daughter as many times as fate demanded. He would face all the trials and save her while keeping his life at stake.

"I was scared." Aura said, making him let out a soft cry of acknowledgement that he was listening to her. "I t-thought A-anna, I thought she would be… Peter is a douche. Don't let him live this time, Brian. I want you to kill him."

She dipped net head in the softness of his fur and shed tears. Brian raised his front paw and took her under his chin, hiding her in the warmth of his body while he growled at squirming Peter who was gaining his senses again.

'The bastard is regaining his strength, Damien.' Communicating over the mind link, Brian allowed Aura to take a look at her daughter.

Alpha Damien was dealing with a giant rogue from Peter's team when he received the message from Brian. He looked over his shoulder and whatever patience he had been holding broke loose.

Impotent rage filled his chest, making his respiration intolerable. His eyes melted like molten lava as he heard the soft cries of his lady. This bastard kidnapped them. To think of it, he also hurt his mate. His mate, who was the reason for his healthy life, fresh breathing and the happiness he happened to experience after such a long time.

The view of her bloodied face had made a thick vein pound at his temple. Her gorgeous face that made his mornings was injured. The lips he drank from were swollen. Prints of five long fingers were also visible from the far end of the warehouse when he had slipped in with his army.

Alpha Damien had every intention to turn this place into ashes under the flames of blue fire with all the bastards seeking shelter under its roof. However, one look at her face and he lost his shit. Another look at the crying little mess on the ground and he swore to put their fcking a$$es on fire and watching them jump and beg for mercy but he wouldn't stop.

This was the reason why Alpha Damien chose to faint Peter while he shot deadly arrows at others rather than using his canines. His wolf's rage may kill them but by giving them less pain.

But the arrows would keep them breathing. They would not die despite being shot through their neck or head. Their life would be taken when the warehouse would be set on bluefire.

He would not let them die so easily. Not after turning a day that was supposed to be the best into a fcking nightmare.

Alpha Damien saw Peter's hands fist against the ground as he attempted to get up. He felt the giant rogue under his grip trying to wrench free, but he outgrew his claws and struck him against his belly. His organs spilled out as he cried and sniffed in pain before falling with a thud at his feet.

Turning around, Alpha Damien examined the environment around them. His troop was overruling the enemy's clan. His command was being executed and Peter's men were being shot with bullets made with wolfsbane and tranquilizers. Maria was shielded by two armed guards for her help and the lawyers were tied and held in a corner by three.

This was dominance. This was power. Though his heart burnt in rage, his mouth stretched upwards arrogantly. Peter was stupid to think he could have an upper hand. But this had always been a one-sided war. Since forever. There was only one alpha and he was destined with all the victories of this world and the other.

Coming closer with his bow lowering down, Alpha Damien kicked Peter right under his head at his pierced neck. Harrowing yells spilled from his mouth but it resounded like trills of joy to the Alpha's ears. He kicked him again. This time in his spinal cord.

Damien's mouth was sealed tight but his eyes spoke volumes. There was tension, agony and impotent rage no one ever noticed before.

"My daughter," He uttered between gritted teeth.

Damien didn't come earlier to witness how and when his daughter ended up on the ground, but when he did, he was shaken to the core. His daughter was on the ground with dogs running towards her as she cried.

He had frozen just then and there, forgetting that he was a wolf and running with super speed was one of his abilities. It was as if strength left his body and he was incapable of doing anything to save his ever so loved and previous young one.

A million thanks to Brian that he ripped out of his clothes as a wolf and ran to save Anna. Otherwise only God knows what would have become of his little infant.

"You are a dog, Peter. A dog with no tail." Damien yanked his head up by his hair in a painful grasp.

Peter could comprehend his surroundings for he chuckled as his eyes met with Damien's. He had gained his senses but he was powerless. There was anything but regret in those eyes. The curves of his mouth made the cinder eyed alpha wail before his fist met with Peter's mouth.

One. Two. Three. Damien showered on his face with back to blows as he recalled Aura's bloody face. The finger prints and inflation of her lips turned him into a crazy maniac. He attacked him with all his energy until the sound of his cracking jaw didn't resound in his ears.

He crawled back. His eyes now crying intensely. His mate was shaking under Brian's wolf's fur. Her daughter was sobbing too. Brian was bleeding. His breathing had dropped. As Damien explored his surroundings, he found some of his own men laying in a pool of blood but gladly not dead.

His mind wandered to his house. Madam Martha and other nanny. Five dead guards. Nothing of this would have happened if this bastard was killed long back. He should have never been kept alive.

"I underestimated you, Dursley. You've been a step ahead." Damien's heavy voice echoed. "Not only did you bribe my guards in the dungeons but you also kidnapped my daughter from my house."

Bringing his eyes back to eye a weakly breathing Peter, Alpha Damien pulled out a dagger from the back of his waist.

"Right across my eyes you abducted my wife and I could do nothing. I must say you were amazing." By the time the last word spilled out, Damien ran the dagger alongside his left shoulder.

Aura raised her face. She sat next to Brian's right side and watched how her husband tortured Peter.

"Aaah!" Peter burst into heart wrenching screams.

He arched his back but couldn't get a chance to rise as Damien pinned him down. He shoved the pointed end of the blade in his flesh on the lower back and dragged the metal horizontally.

"I can't express how inspired I am. You have taught me lessons I didn't learn during my training." He lifted the dagger and placed it over Peter's left calf.

Piercing it as slowly as possible, he carved another deep line in his flesh. Blood filled the crack and his blue jeans turned into maroon before it scattered around his legs and under him.

"I am happy to know I inspire you in some way." Taken aback, Damien blinked his burning eyes.

He was laughing?! The deep cuts on his skin were severe. He was losing his blood rapidly. This could lead to his death yet Peter didn't cry louder as Damien had assumed. Rather, he looked delighted. This made him fall into deep thoughts as to why he was behaving like that.

"But wouldn't you ask me how in seven hells it became so easy for you to come here?" Aura sucked in a deep breath as she reached for the curled up body of her daughter under Brian.

She was suddenly scared. Her heart throbbed as she sensed something off about the air and Peter's puzzling words. There was deafening silence at one moment. Peter shivered as she watched him move one hand under his stomach.

Then at another moment, just as she was observing him, he yanked out a wooden dagger and twisted on his back, and shoved it in Damien's chest right where his heart was even before her husband could register what he was upto.

"It became easy because I made it easy for you, Alpha Damien." Peter announced, then fell back on the ground with the dagger stuck in Damien's chest.

"Damien!!!!" Aura's eyes widened, her throat dried up like sandpaper.

Damien's guards dragged Peter away from him. Aura rushed to him, trying to touch the dagger but her hands shivered. His blinking watery eyes made her lose her strength and just hold him to her chest as she watched his breaths break and reduce to shallow inhalation.

"Damien," She cried.
