Alpha's Desire

"The weather was cool yet windy with little raindrops falling from the sky. Gemini walked through the mall with her mother on her right side picking every item that caught her eyes.

"Sweetie you haven't told me what you wanted for your birthday." Her mother said as she a cloth off the hanger.

"I don't know, anything I guess." Gemini was not really excited about her 18th birthday than she should be, her upcoming birthday as a werewolf was the most important year of her life giving her the exception to join the pack and even more. Her mother was yet the reason why she was neither excited nor happy for her birthday as she wanted her to act more human-like than her supernatural self.

"At least tell me your friends are coming over." Her mother said breaking the silence. Gemini shrugged.

"I guess, I wouldn't blame them if they didn't, it's not like anything special is gonna happen." Gemini's bored attitude annoyed her mother, her mother knew what triggered her daughter's attitude before they knew it they were out of the store and into the open road.

"Look Gemini I just want the best and only the best for you but you're making this difficult!!" Her mother yelled. Gemini thought it was great that she sat at the back seat and away from her mother.

"Mom am not human like you!! If only dad was still here he would understand!! Gemini yelled back creating an intense atmosphere.

"I known, that's why am doing this!! This world is cruel, Gemini, what do you think would happen if they knew what you really are!!" Gemini felt her mother's anger and her wolf woke, knowing this Gemini tried her best to keep her and her wolf calm.

" I'll be with them, they'll protect me, mom. I have to do this it's my responsibility.” Gemini said with a calm voice. Her mother grew tenser.

"If marrying a complete stranger is your responsibility!! I want you to be something big and not a housewife!!" Her mother was someone who didn't want to lose an argument so Gemini knew it was best if she didn't answer back. No matter how much she tried her mother would never understand her.
