I couldn't go into my bedroom to have a sound sleep. Per-adventure if any was going to come by.
I coiled myself into one of the couches in the living room. The fear of Rosa is the beginning of wisdom.
I didn't know what she had kept in the room that would sabotage me. That would put me into trouble.
My mind raced to the mysterious note that I saw in my room a few days back. Where I had duplicated it in ten different places.
I had kept two in the room … for reference purposes. While the rest had been kept in strategic places outside the palace.
Maybe that was what Rosa came to pick. Maybe she didn't actually come to harm me? Maybe she came to cover her tracks. Maybe the secret had been leaked to her that I have the note with me.
Because I could not imagine someone who I didn't know her whereabouts since morning, where she went to maybe to alpha Ryder's place to deliberate on how to destroy me.
