"Did you find anything?" I asked Liam and James through the mind linked. Eliana had been missing for over two hours, and I was becoming impatient. When my mom told me that she hadn't shown up to her room and that she couldn't find her anywhere, I was worried. I knew someone must have done something to her. The only thing that gave me relief was that I knew she was still alive. Since we marked each other, I would be able to feel if she was in pain or worse. The only thing that I can't do is track her with the bond yet since we hadn't finished the mating bond. It was crazy. Yes, we had sex once in the past, but that didn't count. We also marked each other, but that also didn't count since we didn't mate and mark at the same time. Only after we mate and mark at the same time would the bond be fully complete. Now she was missing, and I was going to do everything in my power to find her and bring her back to me. I was going to make whoever took her from me pay. I had a feeling Charles and Vera were the ones behind this.

"Nothing yet," James said

"Nothing from me either," Liam added

"I am going to go to see Charles. I have a feeling he is behind this," I said. I knew he was upset because of the investigation into him mistreating Eliana. As soon as I made it to the border, I saw Syrus and Cayson at the border with some of the warlock guards.

"Hey, I guess you had the same idea as me," I said as I walked over to where they were standing

"Yes. They are saying that she isn't here, but I demanded they let me check," Syrus said

Charles came out with some of the human council members. He didn''t look that great. He looked stressed. I didn't care. He deserved everything that was coming to him for what he did to Eliana.

"Where is Eliana?" I growled

"I have no idea where she is," Charles said, and Syrus grabbed his shirt.

"Don't you fucking lie to me. What the fuck did you do to my daughter?" Syrus asked. I could feel his energy all around him. He was ready to explode. Charles looked frightened

"I swear I have no idea where she is."

"If you don't tell me, I am going to..."

"Stop." Everyone looked up and saw Lilian running back toward the border

"Lilian, where have you been?" Charles asked

Suddenly my phone rang. I looked at it to see there was a number I didn't know.

"Yes,"

"Killian, it's me," Eliana said. She sounded tired.

"Eliana, where are you? I have been worried sick. Everyone is looking for you," I said worriedly

"I am in the woods. But I am not sure where," Eliana said

"Don't worry, Love. I will find you," I replied.

"Is that Eliana?" Syrus asked

"Yes, she said she is in the woods, but she doesn't know where?" I said to him, and then I spoke to Eliana. "What do you see that might stand out?" I asked

"I don't know. Um, I jumped out of the window of a cabin. It was red. There were two cars parked outside.

"I know where she is. I turned to see Lilian standing there.

"Lilian. Where is she?" I growled

"Vera is the one that took me. She had another woman with her, and they took Ashley as a hostage," Eliana said

"Take me to her," I growled

"We have been walking for a long time. Where is she?" I asked impatiently

"We are almost there. A few minutes later, I saw the red cabin.

"Killian," I heard Eliana say. I looked over to see her walking. She was helping Ashley walk as well.

"Eliana," I said as I ran over to her. James quickly picked Ashley up bridal style and walked away. I was sure he was taking her back to the royal hospital to get checked out.

"You have no idea how worried I have been," I said as I wrapped my arms around her tightly.

"Vera kidnapped me with some other woman I have never met before," Eliana said

"Whre are they?" Syrus asked. Cayson and Syrus had walked over to her with me.

"They were still knocked out when I walked this way. I was worried about Ashley so I wanted to get her somewhere safe," Eliana said

"Go get them," Syrus told his royal guards, and they left quickly

"Eliana, I am so sorry. I promise when I found out what my mom and her sister were planning on doing, I tried to talk her out of hit but she wouldn't listen."

"Tell us everything," I said

"I will," Lilian told us everything. She told us about how her mom wanted Eliana gone. She was upset at her for taking everything she worked so hard for away. I was heated. I was going to make Vera pay. Lilian kept saying she had nothing to do with any of it, but I wasn't so sure. I didn't trust her. We ended up taking her to an interrogation room to get the truth out of her. Eliana, my parents, Syrus, Cayson, and I were in the room.

"I am really sorry, Eliana. I thought about telling you about everything tonight at your ceremony, but I honestly didn''t think my mom was going to go through with it. I thought she was just talking out of anger. I feel so bad."

"Really? You feel so bad. Did you feel so bad when your mom and dad were abusing Eliana? Did you ever speak up for her? No. What I remember is you going to reporters and telling them that Eliana made it all up when you knew she was telling the truth," Cayson said

"I know. I have been a terrible person. I was never a good sister to Eliana, but I meant it when I told her that I am sorry. That is why I told you the truth today when you came to the human territory. I couldn't let my mom hurt you, Eliana," Lilian said as she looked at Eliana

"What do you think, Love?" I asked

"I don't know.I need some time to think about this. Also, I need to check on Ashley," Eliana said as she stood from her seat.

"Wait!" Everyone looked at Lilian

"There is something else you need to know. Ashley isn't who you think she is."

"What do you mean?" I asked

"Ashley was involved in your kidnapping. She was working with my mother."
