Chapter 60 - Alpha Daniel

Allisons pov

My eyes were on the mark right below the left ear of the older Alpha that had my mate in his jaws, crushing his neck with the razor teeth being shifted into his beast that was almost as big as Dan, he waited for him to shift back into a human that coward! Knowing that he couldn’t take him on even if he was injured as the beast!

I didn’t hesitate, climbing him fast when he was distracted and ripped with my hand at the stupid tattoo that looked like the one that had been on my own one.

What the fuck was he doing anyway!? Alpha Rick growled loud, dropping Daniel when I was still defending us, killing every guard that was attacking, not even knowing how I was doing it when beasts were stopping midair only to fall before me, their heart had stopped, and I could feel the lifeforce that was making me stronger, I could take them all!

“You stupid bitch! That mark was the only thing that made me have use of you! Don’t you think I can find another one of your kind!? What about that precious baby that you so conveniently saved for me!?” Alpha Rick was screaming at me, like he was losing control when I was pushing back another beast, cursing since it was hard controlling the surge, it was like the power I had wanted to be free, and if I let it, it was going to kill everyone, including Daniel and me!

“Shut up, you dirty bastard!” I wasn’t listening to his fucking monolog, he was a disgusting old man with a taste for younger girls, and that’s why he wanted me. I looked like one, and being a witch was just a bonus for him!

“Just fucking die!” I was screaming it to the howl of madness coming from the giant creature, up on his hind legs, making him look like a giant against me that was the only thing standing between him and my mate since I had been tossed off, ripping away his mark.

Alpha Rick didn’t wait when he was leaping forward, his big jaws open, making me stare into the gap drenched with the blood of my mate, making me even angrier, my hands forming claws when he stopped midair and screaming from the agony when I ripped his first arm from his body, having him shifted back from the pain to my laughter, wasn’t so fucking mighty against the Omega, wasn’t he!?

I walked closer, my hands still up in the air; the sun was coming out when I ripped the next arm off, blood running down the body like a smaller waterfall. My eyes were full silver, not a trace of the Omega in the background, hating that she couldn’t do anything, not like the witch could.

“Stop! Fucking stop!” Alpha Rick was begging to my smirk, tearing his legs away, one at a time, until he was just a package with a head hanging in the air, helpless and scared, just like the Omegas had been all their lives.

“Tell me again how you will take my daughter, Alpha?” I was smirking more, turning him around midair to the crying of the mighty Alpha, the beasts staring up at him like they couldn’t believe what they were seeing. I wasn’t some stupid bitch that was his for the taking, I had a mate, and I loved him.

“Please….” Alpha Rick couldn’t really speak anymore, just words that resembled begging when blood was pouring out of his mouth to my laughter, screaming people. I tore his head off the neck with one big yank from the glowing power oozing out of every pore; this was the real me.

Daniels choking made me drop the dead man to the ground, no longer caring about Alpha Ricks dead body parts scatted.

Daniel wasn’t doing good; it wasn’t like before Alpha Rick had attacked him, he had started to heal up that time, and now he was just bleeding from his neck, and it didn’t seem to stop anytime soon!

“It’s going to be okay, baby! Listen to me!” I was down, having my hands on his body, caressing him with my touch, trying to get the surge to work. I know it did! It worked last time when I could feel him take the energy I gave him! Why wasn’t it doing that now!?

“Why isn’t it working!? Dan, please! It worked before; I can save you!” I was crying already, knowing that I couldn’t! He was reaching for my hand, making me take it, kissing him several times, hearing him mumbling back to me, and the worst part was that I couldn’t even hear him anymore!

He was so handsome, my big Alpha, that had been the best mate he could have been to me. I never understood just how much he tried, always being so ungrateful when everyone else had been cruel, he had tried to tame his beast for me, and now he was leaving me. I didn’t want to be alone in this world again.

“I love you, Dan. You hear me?” I was whispering into his ear, the valley still having beasts around us, too scared to come closer seeing how many I had killed, but I didn’t care; this wasn’t about them. This was about my mate and me, that was fluttering his beautiful green eyes, making me cry harder when he was taking his last breath. I knew it, lying down on his big body and crying my heart out, hearing the last sigh and feeling his chest sinking one last time.

Gone.

My heart was dead when I let the last surge grow inside me from everyone I had killed free, the air that got thick with the promise of death. I had my eyes closed, holding onto my mate, digging my head deeper into his chest. Thank the goddess he had tried.
