Chapter 51 - Alpha Daniel

Alpha Daniels pov

“Alpha.” I sighed, seeing the girl standing at the door; so, what was it this time? Allison was upset, and they were afraid to go inside; this was ridiculous when I didn’t have time to solve every problem.

I had enough to do since Ben left me, not even being brave enough to say to my face that he was breaking the pack bond, which still was hurting me. He was my brother, and now he was what?! A filthy rogue that wanted to live free with a girl that clearly had lured him out from me, but then again, he should have known better. He was the fucking adult, and she was a kid!

“What?!” I snarled it, getting up, knowing they would keep nagging me till I shifted if I didn't come along. Everyone got scared of my beast snapping at the submissive girls meant to make my life simple, not harder, by antagonizing my mate who had just given birth!

“The Luna, she isn’t letting me hold the child and clearly needs to shower….” I couldn’t believe I had just heard that! was that girl telling me my mate was dirty? Was that it!? I came closer, growling at her, bending her neck even more before entering my office.

I was sick of hearing complaints about Allison. She was their Luna, and they were in no position to whine about her as they did. Most of them didn’t even see her since she had never left the bedroom when she wasn’t with me!

“She will shower when she chooses, and that is none of your concerns!” the strong growl makes the smaller girl jump from the fear of hearing my beast. I don’t even know why she thought it would be a good idea to come inside my office to complain about shit that was fucking trivial!

“Who the fuck are you anyway!?” my eyes stared at her face. I know that I didn’t keep that good tab over the servant girls since they didn’t fucking matter to me. They had their job, and so did I!

“Oh…. I just wanted to see if the Luna wanted help with the pup. I swear, Alpha…” she was stammering when I didn’t believe her, not leaning closer to the smaller girl that was blushing, feeling my aura around her, probably just as scared as she was turned on, disgusting.

“I have never seen your face inside these walls before. How the hell did you even get inside?!” blackness swirling in my eyes, narrowing at the stupid girl that was still here and didn’t get that I was one second from wanting to break her neck for being so fucking rude and demanding to have my pup from my mate, was she insane!?

“The gate was open…?” she looked up suddenly when I didn’t like how her eyes showed me her beast, that she wasn’t lying. It gave me a bad taste; I took one giant step outside and saw the empty hallway to my office.

“Open? Was there someone by the gates?!” my body started to shake, wanting to shift, sensing something was wrong. Not just a stray girl walking inside my office who was too stupid to understand that she had no business being here! If I wasn’t so fucking nice, she would have been torn apart for the disrespect she was showing the Luna and me!

“No… like I said, Alpha… empty…” she follows me when I take off in long strides, scared to death that something had happened to Allison, that is still inside the bedroom with our pup; if someone was attacking us, why haven't I felt anyone die or being injured!?

“Allison!?” I want to shift, only holding back since that would make me lose control over whatever logic I have left since my beast didn’t care. He wanted to kill!

“Yes, what is it, Dan?” Allison sounded annoyed like she just had been woken up; to my relief, if something had happened to her or Candice, I didn’t know what the fuck I would have done!

“Allison, get the fuck up and take Candice! someone is here, and I can’t find a single fucking guard around or outside the mansion!” My eyes went over the courtyard along the fast pace the girl behind me was trying to keep up with. Why the hell was she still following me anyway?! She should be locking herself inside some room and waiting for this shit to be handled!

I didn’t care about her, going to the bedroom door, feeling the small punch inside my back when I turned around, more surprised than anything else seeing the girl smirking, seeing my stunned face. What the fuck did she just do to me!? I was grabbing at her, feeling my eyes going dizzy and the sound of giggles surrounding me like a fucking horror movie to my heavy breaths. Did she fucking drug me!?

“That is for killing my mate, Alpha! I would return the favor since you ripped the tongue out of my poor Clay. Still, it seems that someone had plans for you, so I just going to have to settle for your mate…” the girl is leaning over when she smirks, still showing me the syringe in her hands; it's fucking huge and looks more like she was tranquilizing a horse than me!

“Bitch….” I can’t even say the words feeling my eyes starting to flutter, wanting to shut them when the girl drops the syringe; obviously done with me, mission fucking complete! Now she is going for my mate behind the same door that I am blocking with my body tingling like crazy from whatever shit she just injected me with!

“Luna, you need to come outside! The Alpha is down! Please hurry!” I was too groggy hearing that cunning cunt acting like she was helping, luring my mate out to get to her! I should have fucking killed her along with her mate if I had known!

“No…” I can't even swallow my saliva when Allison comes outside the door, shocked over seeing me drooling with my face pressed against the wooden floorboards; every part of my body is going numb when I try to release the beast, hoping he would save us to no fucking use, he is too far gone.

My eyes close, seeing the bitch that drugged me having something shiny in her hand. I link the last sentence my mind can make out in the fog. hoping that it makes it out to Allison's big silver eyes staring at me like a deer in headlights.

“Run…”
