Chapter 61
Mica
“Hello my dear step-daughter,” my evil step-father said. Why is he here? How did he find me here? He was smirking as if I was still the same Mica that he broke. I felt Carter and the other warriors who were looking after me approaching, so I raised my hand, telling them that I was fine and there was no need for them to worry. I felt their presence lay low.
“How did you find me here?” I couldn’t help but ask. Him, being able to come here meant he knew about the vampires and wolves.
“Why? Do you think that you are the only one who could come here?” he asked.
“That doesn’t answer my question. How did you find me here?”
“I heard someone talking about a bitch and the description matches you,” he replied,
“I see. And despite knowing that I am already a bitch, you still showed up here.”
“Why not, after all, I made you one?” he replied, feeling proud of himself. Then, all of a sudden, a few men came out of nowhere. I was glad that we were in the parking lot intended for the wolves alone. Aziz did it so that if there was an enemy attack, humans wouldn’t be able to be in the way just like what had happened to my father.
“What are you thinking about bringing these men here?” I asked. I was still calm since I knew for myself that I would be able to take them down. If not, Carter and the others were not far from us.
“I wonder what happened to the bitch I raised. Why am I seeing a different one?” he asked with a creased forehead. I thought he was starting to worry about them but he curved his lips into a thin smile which made him look evil. “No matter what, I will be able to have you again. This time, I am going to share you with my other friends.
Saying that I remember the time they treated me like a whore. I don’t know what happened to me, but after I felt angry, I started to feel like I wanted blood and seeing red. The men with him started to laugh and approached me. Even if I wanted to kill them, I tried to control myself and didn’t indulge in the urge to take their lives.
Since I can fight, I decided to fight them in hand-to-hand combat. I could feel Carter and the warriors being so angry after hearing everything, but they didn’t get themselves involved. I want to deal with this motherfucker, alone.
We started fighting and while they only wanted to catch me, I intended to disable and break their bones. I was determined to defend myself as the conflict heated up because of the adrenaline rush that was coursing through my body. I confronted the devil and his men while my heart raced.
As I defeated the attackers one by one, the sound of clashing fists and kicks could be heard throughout the parking lot. I moved with grace and accuracy, dodging blows and answering with quick punches thanks to Carter's instructions. Despite the overwhelming odds against me, I fought valiantly and refused to give up.
My adversaries were defeated one by one as a result of my deft and accurate moves, leaving a trail of vanquished individuals dispersed around the parking lot. I was able to predict their actions before they were ever taken, thanks to my vampire or wolf’s instinct, which sharpened my senses and reflexes.
When it was over, just my stepfather was left, his face contorted with rage and desperation. His reckless fists were thrown as he charged toward me, but I skillfully parried each one as my instincts dictated my every move.
He spat, his voice venomous, "You'll never be worthy of being someone or being with someone!"
I reacted with a hard kick that caused me to stumble back as his resolute eyes flared. I responded with a firm, unrelenting voice, "You never deserved to be in this world.”
With renewed aggression and a desire to harm me, my stepfather lunged at me. However, I was prepared, and with a deft maneuver, I disarmed him, knocking his weapon to the ground. My attention was fixed at that precise time. I had endured hardship in the past and was aware that I was not only defending myself but the life he took from me.
I unleashed a barrage of punches on him with a burst of vigor, sending him reeling back with a horrified expression on his face. Despite his vain attempts to strike back, my abilities and tenacity were unparalleled. His resistance ultimately gave way, and he knelt in surrender. I stood tall, as my heart brimmed with a sense of victory and justice, as he stared up at me, his eyes a mix of wrath and terror.
"Leave this territory. You are not welcome here.” I demanded in a firm, commanding voice. I thought he had already given up but a smirk appeared on his face. His eyes were flaming with venom as he grunted in exasperation as he stand up.
“Do you know how much I think of you whenever I fu** your mother? I tried to be a good father, so you will come and hug me. My d*** twitch every time you’re near so I had to pull your mother into our bedroom and fu** her with you on my mind.” he said. I was so furious after hearing that and he wasn’t finished at all. He continued, “The day that your mother died? I fu***d her but I accidentally called out your name so she was angry. We fought and wanted to leave me, so I was thankful that the vampire killed her and I had a reason to fu** you.”
Red. Blood. That’s all I saw with the demon in front of me. Without thinking, at a speed that I never thought I was capable of, I was instantly right in front of him. He was shocked as if he saw something on my face or maybe because of my speed. Without thinking, I held him by his neck and was ready to bite him.
