(Alpha Andrew's POV):
When I stepped out of my room wearing a yellow top and brown trousers, I wanted to patrol the pack to catch up on what had happened during the past three days I had been away.
My sister, Judith, walked up to meet me. She wore a blue dress.
"Andrew," Judith called my name softly. She didn't need to address me as Alpha. She was my only sibling and my family.
"What is it, Judith?" I asked, pausing to speak with her as I towered above her. Her golden brown eyes locked with mine as she asked with a smile on her face, "Can we talk?"
"Mm. Sure. Come with me." I led my sister back into my sitting room where we both settled down on the black couch.
I wondered what she wanted to ask me about that she appeared so tense.
"I fụcking hope it's not Zoey," Zion growled in my head, but I smiled and pushed his thought away.
"I doubt it," I replied to Zion before fixing my gaze on Judith.
"What do you want us to discuss, sis? Is it about Piper and Rory? Or your mate? Did he do something wrong?" I asked her, my tone firm, but she quickly shook her head.
"It's not about my mate. He is not cheating. It's about you."
"Me?" I pointed at my chest, my gaze razor sharp. "What happened to me? Did you meet a soothsayer on my behalf?"
Judith smiled, radiating warmth and charm as she replied, "No. I didn't meet any soothsayer, but last night I had a horrible dream. I saw you mated to a human and she got pregnant with your babies."
"What?!" I burst out laughing hard, despite my sister's serious face.
"Judith, you were just worried because I spent three days in the human city. I didn't mate with any human," I replied firmly, before my mind raced with the lingering thought about that skinny lady I had sex with.
"Are you sure?" Judith asked, her tone serious as she locked her gaze with mine as if she was searching my soul for answers.
"The human—I couldn't make out her face—but she is not a werewolf. She later gave birth to twins, and they resembled Rory and Piper. I know it's a dream, but the thought of you having a human mate is unsettling," Judith spoke seriously, and I felt my throat tighten as if I couldn't breathe.
"It's not possible for a human to conceive a werewolf baby. She couldn't have conceived from that night. I guess you were just worried," I replied, my tone lacking confidence as a wave of guilt crashed down on me. But my sister gasped, her eyes widening in horror as she demanded, "Andrew, did you truly mate with a human? How could you?"
I looked at my sister's sad face and apologized, "I am sorry. It was last night and she offered herself to me. I couldn't resist the urge to mate with her. I remember even marking her neck. Damn it. I was lost in the heat of passion."
"What? Andrew?!" My mother stormed into my sitting room as if she had been eavesdropping on my conversation. She arrived with Zoey, who peered at me with a look of disappointment on her face.
"Andrew, why would you mate with a human? You know they are looking for a way to kill us and wipe out our existence. And now, you didn't only go to the city for shopping like you were supposed to and return. You went to deposit your sperm in a human's pụssy!" My mother growled at me, unconcerned that I was the new Alpha.
"Mom, you all should calm down. She was a slut. So there's nothing wrong with sleeping with her and paying her off. She doesn't know who I am, and she won't get pregnant from just one encounter," I retorted, my voice confident.
"Who told you that one encounter cannot lead to pregnancy? Andrew, I heard humans birth babies every year, unlike us, who need several couplings and a mating ceremony to get pregnant. A human can get pregnant easily, and you need to search for that slut and ensure that she isn't pregnant or carrying your sperm. You know the law—as an Alpha, you were never supposed to stoop so low as to mate with a human," my mother glared at me as she stood in front of me.
My temples throbbed and I caressed them.
"I cannot travel back to the city to search for her. But rest assured that she won't have my babies. You all are worried for nothing. Please excuse me, Mom. I need to patrol the pack to see what needs to be fixed or handled," I attempted to step out of my sitting room as I didn't want to discuss that human.
For Moon Goddess' sake, that lady made me cum a lot the previous night, and her orange scent still lingered in my nostrils. Discussing her made me miss her more, and I desired to have her again. Whether she is a human or a siren, I didn't give a damn about that. I just wanted to have her again and pleasure her until she passed out.
"Andrew! Andrew!" My mother chased after me as I left them in the sitting room.
"You have to send Steven to go back to the city and search for her!" my mother declared, and I burst out laughing despite the rage on her face.
"Mom, the city is ten times bigger than our pack. How can I find her? I told you she was a slut, a sex worker, and you know they don't keep their clients' babies. They get rid of anything disturbing them from their work. So if she got pregnant by me, trust me, she will abort the babies," I smirked, seeing my mother's angry face, even though my wolf and I weren't happy that the human would take out our pup.
"And what if she kept the baby? Do you want the humans to use the babies for experiments? Steven?!" Mom growled my Beta's name, unwilling to risk that I already had a child with a human.
With the speed of light, Steven dashed into the living room and glanced at us on the balcony upstairs.
"Yes, Luna. You sent for me," Steven replied with a bow, wondering why my mother had summoned him.
Mom ignored me as she went downstairs and queried Steven, "Steven, look me in the eyes and tell me the truth. Did you see the human girl that Andrew mated with last night?"
