Chapter 216 She Wanted to Take Care of Henry
Henry, 22, had never had a girlfriend.
But he had watched adult films with friends before. He didn't get turned on while watching, nor did he feel the need to find a woman.
However, just now, when he saw Grace's figure, he couldn't help but feel a surge of desire!
At his age, it was hard to resist such stimulation.
Henry chugged two bottles of ice water to barely cool down that burning desire. After feeling a bit better, he heard Grace's timid voice from the bathroom. "Could you bring me the clothes on the bed?"
Henry dropped the bottle of mineral water.
He saw a snow white dress on the bed, very soft and beautiful. Henry could almost imagine how Grace would look in it, and his Adam's apple bobbed. "Are you sure you can wear this?"
After saying that, he went into the closet and picked out a set of unisex sportswear.
Henry knocked on the bathroom door. "Go for this!"
Grace didn't want to wear the dress either. She was feeling bloated and uncomfortable, with persistent bleeding. So, Grace obediently took the clothes and started changing. She lined her underwear with a thick layer of toilet paper before donning Henry's clothes.
Henry was tall, about 6 feet, while Grace was only 5.3 feet.
Henry's clothes swamped her, especially the pants, which were so long they dragged on the ground. Henry, however, was looking at her legs, where the clothes he had worn were touching Grace's private area.
Realizing he was feeling an unexpected attraction, a deviation from his usual composure, he felt a mix of embarrassment and annoyance. "Can't you roll them up? Hmm?"
His fierce expression startled Grace, leaving her momentarily dazed with fear.
As she bent down to roll up the pants, the shirt straightened, revealing her slender waist.
Henry felt he couldn't look anymore and turned his head away sharply.
Later, he took her downstairs from one side and left through the backyard.
Henry rolled out a bicycle and patted the back seat for Grace to sit on.
Grace, who had been pampered, was now uncomfortable and said pitifully, "I want to ride in an RV!"
Henry didn't indulge her. He directly grabbed her waist and lifted her onto the back seat.
Her waist was thin and soft. Her expression looked pitiful.
Henry said, "Sit tight, or I'll throw you off." He then pedaled the bike away with his long legs.
It was a midsummer night in June, with a gentle evening breeze.
Henry took Grace through the deserted courtyard and around to the black wrought-iron gate of The Montague Mansion. The guard saw Henry but didn't recognize Grace behind him and greeted warmly, "Mr. Montague, is this your girlfriend?"
Henry responded vaguely and took Grace out of The Montague Mansion.
Outside, it was pitch black, and Grace was scared. She hugged Henry's waist tightly. Henry's heart skipped a beat, and he couldn't even describe the feeling!
After that, they didn't speak.
The night breeze blew, quietly stirring their young hearts.
Half an hour later, Henry stopped the bike in front of a 24-hour convenience store, and Grace was still sitting on the bike.
Henry asked, "What brand do you usually use?"
"Whatever!" Grace mumbled, her cheeks flushing a deep shade of red.After saying that, he ignored her and walked into the convenience store. He didn't have sisters and didn't know much about these things, so he randomly grabbed seven or eight different packages of sanitary pads and checked out.
Henry walked out, and Grace was still obediently lying on the back seat.
He tossed the black bag to her. "Find a public restroom and change, then I'll take you home! Call Clara first."
Henry warned, "If you say anything wrong, I'll leave you here."
Grace, feeling wronged, said, "If you leave me here, my brother won't let you off."
Henry sneered, "You mean Oliver, that loser?"
Henry and Oliver were the same age and had disliked each other for a long time. Just mentioning Oliver made Henry frown, showing his disdain.
Grace sniffled and frowned. "Oliver is not a loser."
Henry, with his hands in his pockets, looked up at the sky. "Time will prove everything."
Grace was very angry and ignored him, calling Clara. Of course, she told a little lie, claiming she was giving a ride home to the driver from The Montague Mansion. Clara was surprised but didn't say much since she was being escorted by the Montague family.
Clara gave a few reminders and then hung up.
Later, Henry found a restroom, and Grace opened the package, choosing her favorite style of pad to change into.
When she came out, Henry was standing outside, looking cool and nonchalant. "The cashier said those tampons are pretty good. You should check them out."
After saying that, he patted the back seat of the bike.
Grace, with a red face, obediently sat behind him. It was cool at night, so she hugged his waist, feeling the warmth from his body.
When they arrived at Tranquil Heights, Henry let her down.
Eighteen-year-old Grace, wearing his clothes, with her golden hair flowing behind her, looked ethereal in the moonlight, though a bit timid and clingy!
Henry said, "Don't fall in love with me, silly girl!"
Grace woke up from her dream, and the sky was already light.
She turned on her side, her face against the pillow, quietly watching the dawn outside. All her confusion and pain from the night before were resolved at this moment.
She wanted to take care of Henry, not just out of duty but also out of emotion.
He was the same as before, wanting her but telling her not to fall in love with him! He had always been contradictory, always proud.
Grace lay there, lost in thought until the golden sunlight began to rise.
She picked up her phone, her expression calm, and sent messages to Henry: [Henry, I've thought it over carefully. You're right. Although we have a lot of history, most of it is painful. Besides, we've been apart for almost five years.]
[Five years can change a lot of things! Henry, I'll live well with the kids, and I'll get along with Owen. It's over between us.]
