"Can you let me through?" I ask, ignoring everything she just said.

"Not until you tell me what the hell you were doing!"

"Drinking, getting high and fucking, there's your answer," I shoo her away to get the hell out of there.

"How dare you do this to me!" she demands, following in my footsteps.

"I can do whatever I want, so stop asking me for fucking explanations, because I don't owe you."

"You've got me fucking fed up with your stupid attitude, Gérard!

You come in every goddamn day drunk! You don't even hang out here like you should! You leave me all alone in this place!"

"Then get the hell out."

"Sure, that's what you'd want, to get your bitch back in here!" she spits, and hearing those words come out of his mouth, I feel my blood boil.

"Take back what you said about her," I ordered her, turning around so we're face to face.

"No," she retorts. "That's what that fucking gold digger is, and you're so blind you don't see it."

"Take it back," I demanded again, annoyed.

"I won't! I'm tired of you seeing me painted on your goddamn life because of that goddamn whore!"

"At no time in your pathetic life will you ever call him that again!" I spit out, grabbing her chin, my jaw clenched in fury. "Did you get it, ever!"

"Let go of me," she retorts through her teeth, her eyes full of fury. "Let go of me! You're not even capable of respecting the mother of your child!"

"I don't owe you any fucking respect!"

"Of course you do! In the eyes of the world I'm your wife!" She yells at me. "And regardless of that, you go out of your way to make a fool of me and make me look like a cuckold in front of others! You care more about what they say about her, rather than what they might say about me!"

"Get it the fuck straight, you are not and never will be my wife," I retort.

This woman has gone fucking crazy.

"The one who doesn't understand things here is you! You know what my father told you, that when we have our child we'll get married!"

"And who told you that I agreed to do that shit?"

"You have to, it's not because you want it!"

Not even dead.

"Never in my fucking life!" I say, throwing the bottle of alcohol I was holding on the floor.

"Then you'll never meet my baby!"

"Don't you dare threaten me with that! Don't even try it, Alice," I warn her. "Remember the reason why you're here."

"Because I'm the mother of your child, and whether you like it or not it's your duty to look after me. Or wasn't it clear to you what the lawyer said?”

"I don't give a shit about what that fucking sleazy lawyer said," I spit out. "And to stress it to you, the only reason you're here is because you lied to me, you made that fucking video and threatened Juliette. And I can swear I've made no bigger mistake in my life than to have listened to you."

"Are you saying that your son is a mistake?" She questions indignantly.

"No, the mistake was you," I spit, and as I say that, her face turns a thousand colors.

"But to your fucking misfortune, this mistake can't be fixed," she exclaims victoriously. "So you better start respecting me and treating me for what I am and will be."

"That will never happen. Never," I let out in fury.

"Why, why would you rather do it with your fucking bitch of an ex than your son's mom?" she exclaims mockingly.

"No, because she's not that, and that's my last warning to you not to call her that way again because I don't answer, Alice," I say, turning to leave this fucking place, because I can't stand to hear it anymore.

"And what are you going to do, hit me?" she spits, following in my footsteps. "That's all you're missing, after everything you've done to me."

"I didn't do shit to you! So shut up and stop telling fucking lies!" I yell without holding back.

"I won't shut up! I'm tired of living under your shadow, when I was the one who was first in your life."

"That you came first, means nothing to me," I snort. "Understand that I don't love you, I never did and she's not to blame for that."

"Of course she is. It's just telling me, what does she have that I don't? Answer me!" he demands. "What the hell did that woman do to you that you even had to get her name tattooed on your damn body?"

"She has everything you don't," I retorted. "And you know what, even I have no idea what the fuck she did. All I know is that she made me love her, like I've never loved anyone in my fucking life!"

"You're lying!"

"I don't have the need, and you should stop kidding yourself, plus always keep in memory why you're here, and that in my life you're nobody compared to her."

"I'm no less than that one," she says, her voice cracking. "And if you think you're the only one capable of making me feel bad, you're wrong."

She wipes away a tear that runs down her cheek angrily.

"Because let me tell you something, and that is that not even by tattooing her whole face, are you going to make that woman want to be with you again," he says and none of the words he has said to me before, have penetrated me, as these have. "She's never going to want to be with a man who got another woman pregnant and who is also an unstable drug addict who doesn't even know what love is!"

"Shut the fuck up!" I vociferate.

"No! And you want me to tell you something else? I bet she's happy now. Happy because she took off the burden of what it means to be with you and have to put up with your shit. And even if you hate me all you want, you know you don't have anyone but me now, she doesn't care about you, Gérard. And I bet you that even if you died right now, no one would be around," she spits angrily.

"Shut up, Alice."
