James said as he returned to his bedroom.
Linda looked at James suspiciously until he entered the room, then she remembered she had come out to use the bathroom.
Without much thought, she hurried into the bathroom.
"That was close."
After entering the room, James quickly closed the door, leaned against it, and took a deep breath.
Linda's sudden appearance just now really startled him.
If Linda had found out that he was eavesdropping on her room, she would have definitely killed him on the spot.
If Linda had found out he was eavesdropping on her room, she would have definitely killed him on the spot.
Since he had just bought the phone not long ago, many apps had not been installed yet, so James installed all the apps he needed for daily use.
With nothing to do, James downloaded a streaming app called StreamVerse, thinking of watching some live streams.
But as luck would have it, as soon as James clicked on StreamVerse, he saw a familiar figure recommended on the homepage.
The individual in question was none other than Linda!
With a heart brimming with excitement, James clicked into the live stream room named "Linda's Private Haven."
Inside the streamroom, Linda sang beautifully, showcasing her talent.
She had recently joined StreamVerse after streaming live on various other platforms.
However, because her content was quite tame—focusing mainly on singing and chatting with viewers rather than containing any adult themes—she hadn't yet garnered a significant following.
Though there were only a handful of viewers in her streamroom, the daily gifts she received were sufficient to cover her monthly expenses.
[ Hello, you are so beautiful. Can I add you on Facebook? ]
[ Do you have a boyfriend? If not, would you be my girlfriend? ]
[ Tell me your price. How much is it to spend a night with me? ]
[ Add me on Facebook, I'll show you something special! ]
As a beautiful streamer, Linda encountered many peculiar viewers daily.
However, she couldn't afford to lose her composure in front of so many people.
Insulting viewers casually would jeopardize her career as a streamer.
For long-term sustainability, Linda had to be discerning in how she handled certain viewers' queries. Ignoring those with disparaging comments was often the best approach.
Fortunately, her stream had several moderators who helped regulate viewer interaction.
"I'll sing one more song before signing off!" Linda smiled sweetly.
Just as she was about to start singing, a viewer with the title of "Lumina City Mr. Martinez" entered the stream room.
Quick to welcome him, Linda exclaimed, "Welcome Lumina City Mr. Martinez, to the stream room!"
However, the first message from this, titled Viewer, puts Linda in a dilemma.
[ Streamer, you are so beautiful. Perform a pole dance for us; I'll send fifty of the most expensive Crown gifts for each dance! ]
"Fifty Crowns! It’s impressive!"
"Mr. Martinez, you must tip first before the streamer dances!"
"Singing is getting boring; streamers should dance on the pole!"
"The rich has spoken. Why aren't you undressing already!"
With the comments from Lumina City Mr. Martinez, the audience in Linda's stream room, started getting out of hand.
For a streamer to receive fifty Crown tips was quite magnificent. Linda should have felt elated with the presence of a high roller in her stream.
But she was neither adept at dancing nor fond of the seductive implications tied to such performances. She mustered a smile and said, "I can't dance; how about you pick a song for me to sing instead?"
However, Lumina City Mr. Martinez seemed unpersuaded by her deflection. "I just want to see you dance. Here are twenty-five Crowns to start!"
[ [ Lumina City Mr. Martinez ] tipped streamer [ Linda ] with 5 Crowns! ]
[ [ Lumina City Mr. Martinez ] tipped streamer [ Linda ] with 5 Crowns! ]

…...
As she was hesitating, notifications of 25 Crowns flash through with special effects.
[ Amazing! I admire you! ]
[ Hurry up! He just sent you twenty-five Crowns! ]
[ Dance now! ]
Following Lumina City Mr. Martinez's twenty-five Crown tip, more viewers flooded into the stream room.
Some new viewers, unaware of the situation, began clamoring for the streamer to dance.
Now, Linda found herself in a tight spot.
Unskilled in dancing and sensing an ulterior motive from Lumina City Mr. Martinez, she hesitated.
If she followed her order and danced now, what would his demand be next?
Due to the Crown's gifts, Linda's stream room was suddenly flooded with thousands of viewers.
The audience clamored feverishly, with some lecherous spectators even demanding the streamer to wear a super short skirt and dance.
Gritting her teeth, a face filled with indescribable grievance, Linda refrained from shedding tears.
In all of StreamVerse, Linda stood alone as a beacon of purity.
Yet, at this moment, pressures mounted for her to resort to disrobing like other female streamers to attract viewers—an act she was unwilling to do.
Even though she knew that she could receive many tips if she did this, she didn't want to do something that went against her conscience.
Amidst the uproar from the audience, James posted a barrage of messages, drawing their collective ire.
[ You despicable lot! Bullying a girl like this? Shame on you! ]
