CHAPTER THIRTEEN
THOMAS
As the words she just said replay in his head, Thomas fires another bullet close to Melina’s feet. He charges at her and grabs her shoulder. Pulling her up to her knees with his free hand, he stares at her closed eyes with fury burning in his eyes. If it was possible, Thomas’ anger and hatred for Melina reached new heights after she said her final words. He was furious; those three-letter words were what she chose to say as her final words. His frown deepens as he realizes she knows he won’t shoot her once she says those words.
“What the fuck did you just say?” Thomas growls at Melina, pointing the gun once again at her forehead. Thomas never misses but he did twice, as he was not expecting those words to be her last.
“I fucking asked you a question; will you fucking answer?” Thomas yells, moving the gun away from Melina’s face and fires two more bullets close to her feet. Melina flinches and grabs the first thing she comes in contact with. With trembling hands, she holds clutches Thomas’ pants.
"I-I- said I-I-I lov-e-e y-ou," Melina stammers, quivering.
“If you do not wish to lose your hand in the next few seconds, I advise you to fucking take it off my body.”
Melina quickly removes her hands from his pants and places them between her legs.
“Open your eyes,” Thomas says, lifting her chin with the gun. Melina slowly opens her eyes, welling up with tears. As Thomas stares into Melina’s eyes, he sees she knows she made the worst mistake of her life by telling him she loved him.
“Good,” Thomas smirks, watching Melina’s eyes darken with fear. He knows she must have realized that even though he didn’t shoot her as she said those words. She must know she will be good as dead by the time he’s done with her.
Thomas looks away from Melina and at her trembling body. Her face and neck are drenched in sweat, making Melina’s skin glitter in the moonlight. Thomas Adam’s apple moves up and down as he sees her sweat run down to her breast. Images of his hands and mouth around her breast flood his mind.
Thomas usually pushed such images away, but he was too drunk to do so tonight, so they ran wild in his head. His gaze shifts to her exposed thighs. Licking his lips, he imagines them wrapped around his waist as he fucked her. Thomas despises Melina, but he couldn’t deny that she has a goddess's body. His anger is still coursing through his veins, and without thinking, he bends down and moves his gun-wielding hand to her exposed thigh. Sex is one of the best ways Thomas knows how to let out his anger. Thomas realizes that there is no better way to vent his rage than to direct it at the source.
MELINA
Melina couldn’t believe she’d forgotten those three words were the last thing he wanted her to say to him. Those are the words that made a fool out of him. She felt stupid for forgetting. She also appears to have made matters worse for herself. He hasn’t killed her, which indicates that he wants to keep her alive and make things worse for her.
Melina’s eyes widen as she feels the gun against her thigh. Thomas uses the weapon to lift her dress, revealing her whole legs to him. Fear grips Melina like a vice, seeing the lust building in his eyes as the gun travels to her waist. She thought she couldn’t possibly be more scared of anything Thomas could do to her, but she was wrong. Melina realizes that her agony is about to begin.
Melina knows what is about to happen; She racks her brain for a way out of the situation. He didn’t go through with it the last time, but tonight she knows nothing is holding him back. Thomas is drunk and angry at her. He intends to destroy her, and Melina doubts she will survive.
Taking the gun away from her body, Thomas places the gun into his waistband. His hands return to her body, and her clothes are ripped in a blink of an eye. Tears stream down her face.
Realizing that the biggest threat has passed, Melina gets up from the floor and tries to make a run for it. She doesn’t care if someone sees her in her underwear if she manages to escape. Melina doesn’t get to take more than two steps before Thomas grabs her legs and pulls her back to the ground. Melina’s face lands hard on the floor. Fortunately for her, she falls on a carpet, so her nose isn’t broken, but it still hurts. Thomas picks her off the ground and throws her over his shoulder.
Within a few seconds, he drops her on a bed. Getting up, she runs towards the headboard. The room is dark, so it’s difficult to see where to run. She doesn’t want to make the same mistake, so she looks around, trying to find the door in the dark. Melina screams as Thomas drags her back to him.
Melina believes this must be his way of punishing her for saying, "I love you." She regrets ever saying those words. Begging God, she pleads with him not to let Thomas rape her. He yanks her underwear.
“Please, Thomas, don’t do this to me,” she pleads with him as he straddles her. He unhooks her bra with his hand on her back. Thomas’ eyes rank over her body before brushing his fingers against her hardening nipples. Melina is disgusted by her body's desire for his touch right now. Her heart sinks into a bottomless when she sees Thomas working his belt. Remembering how big Thomas is, Melina thrashes against the bed, trying to get him off her. She fears his member will tear her womanhood apart if she doesn’t get away from him.
“Please don’t do this, Thomas, I beg of you. It’s going to hurt.”
Melina’s movements are halted as Thomas wraps his hand around her neck. “Fucking stay still,” he growls at her.
Melina looks at him and sees he’s even angrier than he was earlier. Realizing the only way to save herself is to let things happen, she lets go of herself. She believes that if it happens quickly, the nightmare can finally come to an end.
“Good girl,” Thomas says, dragging his hand down Melina’s body and her back arches.
He grabs her hands and lifts them above her head. Melina’s heartbeat quickens when she hears his zipper. She quickly closes her eyes and braces herself for what is about to happen.
“Ouch,” Melina winces as Thomas tightens his belt around her wrist. She closed her eyes again and felt his hands move down her body and spread her legs open. Melina clenches her fist and waits for it.
A moan escapes her lips instead of a scream once she feels his hot mouth on her skin. Melina opens her eyes to find Thomas showering her inner thighs with tender kisses.
“I own you, and tonight I’m going to remind you of that,” Thomas says, looking Melina dead in the eyes. Melina swallows hard, knowing he means every word he says.
Melina lets out a gasp as she feels his finger inside her moist core. Even though Melina fears Thomas raping her, her body still loves his touch.
“I own this cunt,” Thomas says, thrusting his finger in and out of Melina. He adds another and quickens his pace..
“Yes,” Melina rasped. She bites her lower lip, hoping Thomas didn’t hear her. Melina understands what he wants her to say, but a minute ago, she thought he was going to rape her. She’s so confused right now. Thomas just acted like he wanted to take her against her will a moment ago, but now he’s worshiping her body. Thomas takes his fingers out of her and pulls his shirt above his head. He removes the gun from his waistband and places it on the nightstand. Looking at him, Melina wonders if he changed his mind or never intended to rape her.
“I will never take you against your will,” Thomas says, jolting Melina out of her reverie. “I punished you by making you believe I would” Thomas gets up from the bed and takes off his pants and boxers.
“Oh,” Melina couldn’t believe it. She’s happy he isn’t going to rape her but acting as if he was is cruel regardless.
“But I still want to fuck you. Do you want me to fuck you, Melina?” Melina doesn’t respond, finding the question tricky. She looks at him, and her thighs clench together, seeing how hard he is.
“I think I have got my answer,” Thomas smirks as he climbs back into bed. Hovering above her, Thomas looks into her eyes. “Only for tonight,” Thomas says before sealing his lips with Melina’s.
