Maya
It is nice to be out and about with Conrad. Even Bridget showing up this morning can’t ruin our day. I have been keeping my eye out on our surroundings without being obvious. It makes me nervous that Callum is still roaming around somewhere. I will keep it to myself, though, because I don’t want Conrad to know I am worrying.
It is a little strange walking around hand-in-hand since we have no reason to hide our relationship now. I like it.
We spent our time shopping and then went for lunch.
“Do you want to get a coffee and a pastry and head to the park for a bit?” Conrad asks as we leave the restaurant.
“Only if you are up for it? I don’t want you exhausting yourself.” I say softly.
Yes, he is doing better, but he still hasn’t fully recovered, and I don’t want him overdoing it.
“I am fine, angel, promise. You don’t need to worry about me.” He smiles, slips his arm around me, and kisses the top of my head.
“Okay, but you better tell me if you are tired, Mr.,” I warn and waggle my fingers at him.
The medication he is on can make him tired, too.
“Yes, boss.” He teases and prods my nose.
I giggle and playfully roll my eyes at him. We find a café and get our orders, strolling over to the park. It isn’t too busy. Most people will be at work or school. We glance around for a perfect spot and see one under a massive elm tree. We set our bags down before taking a seat.
Conrad sits down first, opening his legs and patting the spot between them. I smile and scoot into it, being careful because I don’t want to hurt him. He slips his free arm around my waist and kisses over my shoulders.
“Today has been a good day with you, beautiful.” He whispers.
“Yes, it has been.” I agree and tilt my head back to smile at him.
He reaches down to kiss me softly, “I love you.”
“I love you too,” I reply.
When we part, I rest against him and close my eyes. I take in the smell of the air and the warmth of his body close to mine. It is perfect. There is a strong feeling of security in the moment. A feeling I have felt with Conrad since we met. One I have never had before.
“So, when do you want to start moving your things in?” he asks.
“I will need to talk to my landlord, give her some notice, and we can work it out from there so soon.” I smile.
“Great! I look forward to it.” He says.
I wasn’t expecting him to ask me to move in. It makes sense, though; I stay here all the time anyway. I think us living together will be a good thing for us both. I know we still have a lot to sort out, but it is the right next step for us.
“Me too.”
He dips his head down and kisses my neck. I moan softly at the contact. I have missed the closeness.
“I think you should give me a fashion show when we get home.” He whispers against my skin.
I whimper, “I don’t think that is such a good idea.”
“Why not?” he huffs.
“Because we know what will happen. You will get over excited and let your hormones overtake, and you aren’t ready for that.” I laugh.
The fashion show he is referring to is the new underwear and lingerie he bought for me today. It isn’t something I own much of because I have not ever felt sexy or confident enough to dress up sexily, but I feel those things with Conrad. I like to dress up for him. It makes me feel good, and he loves it.
“We don’t know that until I try.” He chuckles.
“No, trust me, no matter how badly I want to pounce on you, I can’t. I don’t want you getting injured.” I say firmly.
He runs his hand up my bare thigh, and I shudder under his touch, moaning softly, “I still have one good hand and a mouth that works.” He mumbles into my neck.
I swallow hard and feel between my thighs pulse, “Mm, yes, you do. So do I.” I whisper.
“We can find a way.” He rasps and bites down on my neck.
I squeeze my thighs together, “Yes, but we will still need to be careful.” I breathe out.
“And we will be. I miss you. I miss your skin, your taste and your lips on my body. I miss the closeness between us.” He says, continuing to kiss over my neck.
I close my eyes and tilt my head to the side to give him better access, “I miss all of that, too.” I whimper.
It has only been a couple of weeks, but that is a long time for us. We struggle to keep our hands off each other. I don’t want to rush anything, though. He is still in some pain.
“Shall we finish our coffees and pastries and head home?” he asks, squeezing my thigh.
“Mmm, yes, please.” I groan.
I turn to face him and press my lips to his in a soft kiss. I don’t want things to get heated in such a public place, or I would kiss him harder and more passionately.
“Angel, you are exciting me.” He growls into the kiss.
I giggle and pull back, “Sorry. I will stop.”
I turn back around to make it easier not to distract him too much. He is quick to cuddle me back into him. We finish off our coffee and pastries, and neither is saying much, but the tension is strong in the air.
“We should leave and head back right now.” He says the second we are done.
“Why? I am happy right here.” I say with a smirk.
“Maya!” he whines.
I laugh loudly and jump to my feet, “Come on, handsome, let’s go home, horny man.”
He takes my hand, and I help him get to his feet. He grips one of my hips, brings me against him, and presses a rough kiss to my lips. I moan and snake my arms around his neck, kissing back in the same manner.
“Yes, let’s.” He breathes out as he backs away from the kiss.
We gather our things and start the stroll home, walking a little quicker than normal. I am not sure who is more eager, him or me. I guess probably both. I am sure we can find a way to have fun and get what we need without making it difficult or getting him hurt. As long as we don’t get too carried away which will be easier said than done.
His lips fall at my ear, “I can’t wait to get you alone.” He rasps.
I moan and shudder, “I can’t wait either.”
Conrad will have no issue getting the job down using what he has available. And hopefully, I can do the same for him.
