Analina’s P.O.V.
“Analina what happened, is it dad?” “Oh Santos, Andros is having a heart attack. And your ……………father…….” “Say no more, I will call an ambulance for both.” As he calls the ambulance Andros speaks again. “This is all your fault!” “My fault? How is this my fault, you are the one who is probably doing the cheating. We do not talk anymore unless it is necessary, you will not look at me, touch me, it is like I do not exist.” “Can you blame me, you want to name our child after your dead ex-lover.” “I never even had sex with Rocco. I should not have married you, you came back and pushed me away and went straight to Santiago.” At these words get passed out. The ambulance came and took Andre and Andros away on stretchers. “I am going with him.” “Ok, Diego, Bruno and I will meet you there.” I nodded and left with the paramedics. Once we got to the hospital I had to split from Andros so that the doctors could work on Andros. I waited out in the waiting area with Santiago, Diego, and Bruno.
“I called you father and brother, they are on their way along with their wives.” “Thanks Bruno.” I said as I stopped pacing and plopped down in one of the chairs. As we were all quietly sitting there a doctor approached us. “Analina Chavez?” “That’s me.” I said anxiously. “Your husband is stable right now,, but it was not a heart attack that he was experiencing. He is suffering from a broken heart. Have you heard of broken heart syndrome.” “Yes.” “It is jus like having a heart attack, we have him stable right now so if you want to see him you can, we are assuming that his diagnosis is the results of his father dying.” “If only you knew Doc.” Santos whispered which made me glare at him. “Thank you doctor.” Right this way.” I followed the doctor to Andros’ room. When I got there I saw him hooked up to a bunch of machines and monitors.
“Andros? Can you hear me?” “Analina?” He breathed out. “Yes it’s me, I am here.” “I will leave both of alone if you need anything let me know. The call button is right next to him on the left side of the bed..” “Thanks again doc.” “Andros I am so sorry.” “Why Analina? Why did you do it, why did you cheat on me with my father.” Andros it was only a kiss, his dying wish.” “It is still cheating Analina.” “No?” “Yes, it is.” At this point Santiago walks in. “How are you doing man, I heard that you are stable now and can accept visitors. “Not him Analina, anyone but him.” Andros said in anguish. “Andros?” Santiago came over and placed an arm around my shoulder not hearing what Andros just said, it was only a breathless whisper for Analina to hear. “What?” I whispered back. “So, you want my wife, and you are here to take her from me while I am held up in a hospital bed?”
“No of course not buddy, I am here to offer her only comfort and support until you are out of here.” “What kind of comfort are we talking about here, old friend?” “Nothing of what you are thinking.” All of a sudden the machines start to go off. Santiago pushes the call button and wraps an arm around me as I scream and cry into his chest, which than the alarms on the machines became more frequent and to me louder. The doctor came in with two nurses and ushered us out of the room with me screaming for my husband as Santiago calmly pulls me out of the room. “They have to work on him Analina.” He walks me back to the waiting area where Diego and Bruno are still sitting with Santos on the phone. “What happened?” Santos said getting of the phone. “His machines went off. “Of course they did, I told Santiago not to go in there, but he insisted on being there for you.” “Sorry.” I aid taking a seat next to him crying while Santiago rubs my back. About an hour later the doctor showed up in front of us again.
“Mrs. Chavez, you are allowed to go back in, but only with his or yours family members, only one that is not of any blood relation to him, or you may go in there.” He says this while looking at Santiago. “Ok, I understand Doc.” “I will wait out here Analina, you go.” “Thanks.” I go back into the room to a distraught Andros. “Oh my God, Andros you are all right.” “Yeah, not what you or he wanted huh?” “How can you say that?” I said desperately trying to get him to understand that is only him that I want. “That is not true, and you know it, this is only your insecurities talking, don’t listen to it, you are dying because of it.” “No, I am dying because my wife of three years was unfaithful to me.” “And you aren’t to me?” “No, I am every bit faithful to you.” “The late nights?” “I am getting help from your mother, Mariann and Holly for the baby’s crib, it was suppose too be a surprise for you.” He aid breathlessly. I can tell that I am loosing him quickly.
“What can I do to make you forgive me and understand that I did not cheat nor did I mean for it to happen. At least I did not accept his first dying wish.” “Yes, thank God for that right . It still does not make it right Analina.” All of a sudden he gets a gleam in his eyes, almost. “Fine, now my dear wife grant me my dying wish.
