Chapter 83: A Night Drive On A Power Bike
“How do you feel about a drive through the city on a bike?” Allan asked Golden.
Golden looked at Allan surprised. She loved fast cars but have never ridden on a bike before.
She looked at Allan, then at his bike. It wouldn't be a bad idea to try something new.
“What about my car?” She asked as she opened the car to get out a thicker jacket.
“Rex is open till midnight so don't worry your car is safe. We would be back for it after our date.”
Golden soon agreed and climbed on the bike. She collected the spare helmet and wore it.
Allan climbed on the front, wore his helmet and turning to face Golden he said:
“Hold on to my waist Gigi, it's going to be a wild ride.”
Golden did as she was told. She wrapped her hands around Allan's waist and for a moment she was jealous.
He was a guy, but his waistline was very small compared to hers.
She rested her head on his back and took in his rich masculine scent. His oud scent was calming and she pressed her face into his back to get more of it.
His bike roared to life as he sped off into the night. People and things looked blurred as they sped pass them.
Tears trickled down the corner of Golden's eyes as the wind hit her face.
She should have been cold but she felt warmth spread through her body. Her face was hot and she felt her grip tighten around Allan's waist.
Allan could feel Golden's grip around his waist tighten and that caused him to smile.
Her hands felt wonderful around him and if she ventured a little lower, a certain part of his body would immediately come alive.
He wanted the ride to last forever. He enjoyed having Golden hold on to him and rest her face on his back.
He has been feeling very drawn to her since that night at the estate and it wasn't just because they had shared some intimate moments.
There was something about being around her. He felt a certain level of peace and serenity whenever he was with her.
He couldn't outrightly name what he felt for her, but he was sure he really liked her.
She still hadn't given him an answer to his question and he was hoping she would consider being his girlfriend.
Maybe the Golden of 6 months ago would have eagerly agreed, but the present Golden was more guarded and careful.
He saw her stand up to Linda again and again, not letting her bully her.
He saw the look in her eyes when Linda had asked him out this evening. She didn't know he had noticed her brief pause.
She hadn't waited for his response before Fab graciously stepped in took her away.
Then again, he noticed her voice go cold when he said he was busy and might be late.
Every little reaction of hers sent a jab to his chest. It was like he couldn't afford to offend her or see her disappointed.
The ride lasted 40 minutes, and that's because Allan took a longer route.
He wanted to enjoy having Golden wrapped around his back more.
Soon the bike slowed down and gradually came to a halt as the engine died.
Although they had stopped, Golden still held to Allan for about two minutes before letting go.
Allan got down and gently helped Golden down from the bike.
He didn't immediately release her. He held her by the waist as she slowly removed her crash helmet and dropped on the seat behind them.
“Hi” he said with a smile as he looked into her rich black eyes. “Did you enjoy the ride?”
“Yeah I did” she responded throatily. She was a bit distracted by Allan's gaze and couldn't help looking at his throat.
They were dangerously close and her breath was a little shaken. She used her eyes to scan his face. She noticed his lashes were long and was tempted to touch them.
She looked at his straight nose, and lips as she remembered how passionately he had kissed her the other night.
Her gaze moved down to his Adams Apple and she watched him swallow and was momentarily lost.
Allan watched as Golden stare him down and couldn't help but swallow hard.
She had no idea what her gaze was doing to him. He couldn't help himself, he cupped her face and slowly moved to kiss her.
He paused for a brief moment, giving her time to withdraw and when she didn't, he closed the gap between them and kissed her.
Golden closed her eyes and immersed herself in the kiss. A moan escaped her lips as Allan grabbed her ass and pulled her closer.
It was like he was trying to merge them together into one. He was half leaning on the bike while Golden stood in between his legs.
Golden eventually broke off the kiss and rested her head on his chest to catch her breath and pull herself together.
“I'm hungry, can we get something to eat?” Golden said breaking off the hug.
They walked towards a food court and order a plate of wings and a comically large cup of coke.
“So tell me Gigi, have you considered my proposal? Will you be my girlfriend?” Allan asked as he took a bite of his wings.
Golden quietly are her wings, it was a bit spicy and she was being careful not to get the pepper into her eyes.
She took a sip of coke and raised her eyes to look directly at Allan.
“Why do you really want to date me? I'm not your spec so what is it about me that makes you want me for a girlfriend?” she asked seriously.
It wasn't as though she hadn't thought about it, but she couldn't get why he asked her to be his girlfriend.
“I really like you Gigi. You are an amazing woman and whenever I'm around you, I feel a sense of peace.
You are intentional, and you see beyond the surface. Plus I think we have a very great chemistry, if you know what I mean” he said with a smirk.
“I'll give you a response by the weekend.”
They finished their meal, took a stroll around the beach to help aid digestion and headed back to Rex's.
By the time they got back to the shop, it was already 11 pm.
Golden got down and took out her keys to open her car door when Allan spun her around and pressed her against the door.
“Leaving without a proper goodbye?” he asked in a hushed whisper and immediately kissed her.
Golden wound her arms around his neck and kissed him back. She bit his bottom lips before breaking the kiss.
“Goodnight Allan. See you in school tomorrow.”
She turned around and entered her car and drove off.
