Some call me bad luck.
Some call me unlucky.
Some call me their worst nightmare.
Most fear me.
Most scream when they see me.

And I smile.

I smile because that's what I love the best.

Their fear.

I love it, when it goes through their eyes when I point the gun and shoot them dead.
I love how pale they turn when they hear me chuckle.
I just love the sound of their rapidly beating hearts against their chest.

But when she comes along, that's where my true demon comes out. That's where I love it the most when I scare her and become her worst nightmare.

I'll break her.
I'll break that little fiery soul of hers.

And I'll laugh when it's in my hands.

ONE

Run as fast as you can, He's behind.

I shook in fear when I saw him walking casually towards me. I start to back up and start to turn to run away but he chuckles which makes me pale.

"I-I-oh my god."

Oh my god.

Oh my god.

I'm going to die!!

"Now I have to kill you too. But I guess two for one is a better deal." His voice was nice and calm. So beautiful yet so deadly at the same time.

"Please! I didn't mean-"

His face looms under the street light. His face is stone cold. There is some blood splattered on his forehead and his cheeks.

"I didn't ask for you to talk...did I?"

I slammed my lips shut and he walked closer. I felt tears flow down my cheeks and land on my chest.

He smirked as he continues to walk towards me. I held up my hand up telling him to stop but he continues to stride towards me with a glare.

"I didn't see anything!"

I turn around and took off in a sprint.

"HELP!! HELP!! HELP!! HELP ME PLEASE!!" I screamed on the top of my lungs. His heavy stomping from behind told me he was a few steps away. Tears flowed down my face and I was praying someone was walking around this time.

I saw someone pull out their headphones across the street and down their hoodie and slowing down from their run.

I thanked the heavens for answering my calls. "HELP ME!!! PLEASE!!"

His head snapped towards my direction and I was waving my arms like maniac.

He started to sprint towards me and I smiled inside but I lost that smile when he caught me.

That's when the devil had his time laughing at my games but took over. His hand curled around my loose curls and yanked me back.

The man started to sprint faster and I cried out in pain. He chuckled in my ear and whispered.

"You shouldn't have done that."

My hands flung towards my hair but he lets go of my hair and wraps his arm around my waist.

"Now you've just made me kill two people tonight."

His other hand went in front of me and shot him dead. I stood there shocked and couldn't seem to process what happened.

He falls limp on the blacktop and letting out his last breath on this world.

*****

(15 minutes before.)

I just finished coming out gas station as I finished my shift. I walked out the doors and made my way towards the side walk and continued to walked down the dark streets to my small apartment.

I untied my hair and shook out the tension in it and brought my handbag closer to myself. I looked through the pockets of my jacket, searching for my phone but it wasn't there.

I began to have a mini heart attack but I remember I broke my phone last week.

I sighed and blew a piece of hair out of my face. The cool night breeze blew across my face making me tug on my jacket closer to my body.

The street light flickered above me and I sighed because I always hated walking alone at night. My teeth catered against each other and my nose started to run.

I started to walk faster trying to get home in the blanket of warmth. My shoes splashed on the puddle from the rain from early today. I looked across the street to see if any cars were coming and started to walk across the street.

I think when I clocked out it was somewhere to two am or three. Not sure. I had the night shift but thank god some other guy offer to take my shift and made me switch with him. I thanked him one last time before I left. But now I'm kinda regretting it.

My shoes splashed water every step I would take making me think someone is behind me. I sighed, telling myself no one would be out this late, endless they are trying to go home late from work.

I turned a corner walking a little bit faster because I just need a few more blocks. Fog starts to form out of my mouth from every breath I would exhale telling me it's getting colder by the minute.

A car pasted by making me jump. Water splashed from the tires, but to the other side of the side walk. I thank god for not letting me get wet, because I would might as well freeze to death.

I always hated where I lived. It was the most scariest place you can live in. Thugs lived across the street from my apartment, but I would always make it safe inside. Probably I always dressed in some jeans and a hoodie. I would always have my hair up in a bun, so maybe they thought I was a guy. And my hair is jet black, so I guess it looks like a guy.

But yet again, I would end my shift in the afternoon, not night...

My heart started to pound against my chest because the thought I begin to have. What would happen if they see I'm a girl walking home at this time.

I was to busy thinking to my self I jumped when another car past me.

I sighed and pushed my hair back. I looked up and saw I was almost home. Just two more blocks.

I started to speed walk but when I heard a man say help I stopped in my tracks.

"Pl-ease...help." I licked my lips and slowly looked to my right and see a man crawling on the ground.

I gasped because the street light flickered above him and I see his face is bloody. "Oh my god." I whispered.

"Please....call the.....poli....ce.." his voice sounded like he was gargling marbles. He coughed out blood and his head was falling limp on the ground.

"Oh my god." I whispered again and started to reach again in my pocket for my phone, but I'm to stupid to remind my self that I don't have a phone any more.

"Fûck!" I started to jog towards him. He was saying something but I couldn't understand because he would just cough up blood again.

"Don...." he then started to cough again and gasp for air. I started to run towards him. He weakly held up his hand but it fell limp on the floor.

I came close and gasped. He had slashes on his back from what seems to be a knife wound. I bent down and he was saying something.

"What?" I slowly started to reach for his back.

"Run." He whispered.

"Run?"

I retreated my hand and looked at the back of his head. He weakly brought up his head. "Ru-"

But it was to late. His head popped open by the bullet going straight through. I screamed and flew back. My eyes were closed tight and I felt his blood on my face.

"Fûckin dumb ass can't run for shît." A man said. His voice was heavy in a accent but I couldn't make out what it was.

I slowly pealed open my eyes but I can't see him.

I blinked a couple of times and looked back to the man whose brains are splattered against me and the black top. My breathing turned to a pant and I scurried to get up. I tripped on my footing which lead me to fall back down but I got back up. I started to back away. I looked between the other dark end and the dead man.

"I-I-oh my god!"

Oh my god.

Oh my god.

I'm going to die!!

"Now I have to kill you too. But I guess one for two is a better deal." The voice said from the dark.

My eyes grew wide.

"Please! I didn't mean-"

His face looms under the street light. His face is stone cold. There is some blood splattered on his forehead and his cheeks.

But before I had time to answer, he turned me around and slammed the bottom of his gun against my head knocking me out cold.
