Sakshi's POV:
"As of today, you are dead," said Randhir, increasing my fear.
"I'm sorry, please," I said.
"I will never forgive you. You are the one who ruined my life. I married you to show you how painful it is to be cheated by someone you trust," Randhir said, coming toward me.
"I've realized my mistake. Please, trust me," I said, begging him.
"You deserve to be hated, punished, and thrown away, not to be trusted, loved, or forgiven, my beloved," came Randhir's immediate reply.
I moved back even though I knew well that I couldn't escape him. Randhir was my husband, and no one knew that he had married me for revenge.
"Stop right there. Don't you dare take even one more step without my permission."
I stood where I was in fear. My body was sweating. I couldn't even guess what was going to happen next. Randhir approached me and kissed me on the lips, and the memories of our past made me shed tears. Suddenly, he bit my lower lip and I opened my mouth, deepening our kiss. The feeling of desire ignited in me, wiping away all thoughts of his revenge for a while. Slowly, he toppled us both onto the bed, me in his arms.
"Are you ready for our first night, or are you scared of me?"
“You are my husband, and I am ready to submit to you,” I said, hiding the fact that I already loved him.
He kissed my neck, slowly trailing kisses down to my shoulder, where he gave me a love bite. I clutched the bed sheets and bit my lip so I wouldn't cry out when he took my virginity. He switched off the lights, and we consummated our marriage.
I loved him, and deep down, I knew he loved me too. But my tears flowed in the dark, making my pillow wet, as I remembered the fact that he had married me for revenge. For him, this was not about love. For him, this was about desire, about taking all he could from me. But it would have to do for now. I just hoped my love would not fade as our married went on and he continued his revenge.
"I never imagined our first night would be this enjoyable. Now get up, dear beloved."
I didn't immediately understand what he said, but slowly I got it and got up from the bed.
"Get dressed and go sleep on the balcony. That's where you should be. That's what you deserve."
His words made me shiver as I remembered the chilly weather outside. He immediately got up and grabbed my shoulders, pushing me onto the balcony and closing the door.
I sat on the balcony, hugging my knees, and closed my eyes. Tears started flowing again as I remembered how lovingly he had treated me before, as I remembered how everything had changed because of one mistake.
