Angelia Selosvone’s POV:
"That's a wrap!" the director said out loud.
Today is the last day of shooting. I'm really excited because I will have a break to take a vacation. I really need it because I've been working nonstop for the past 2 months.
I thanked the crew and everyone who worked hard on this movie. Yesterday, I decided to buy a lunch box for the crew and shared the love. I'm so grateful to have them as a team. They're really professional, fun, and good people.
"Hey, Angel," Wesley, my co-star called, and I turned to him.
"Hey, Wesley. What's up?" I asked.
"Um, are you free this Friday?" he asked nervously, and I chuckled.
"I'm sorry, I have to go to my parent's house in New York," I apologized.
"Okay then, maybe next time," he said awkwardly, and I smiled. I hugged him briefly and walked away.
"My Hollywood Princess," Mark, the director of the movie, said.
"Hey Mark, you did a great job." I hugged the old man and he chuckled.
"Thanks, muffin. So, any plans after this?" he asked.
"Just planning to go to my parent's house. They missed me," I stated.
"Okay, muffin, see you then! The premiere is in 6 months, okay?" I nodded and hugged him again before I left. I bid my goodbyes to the crew and walked to my van.
"Your plane leaves at 4 p.m.," Luisa, my manager, said.
"Okay." I nodded.
"How long will you stay there?" she asked.
"1 month, tops," I answered, but my eyes were glued to my phone, checking Instagram and Snapchat. What can I say? I'm the Hollywood Princess and people are paying attention to me.
"Don't do anything stupid, Angel. They have their eyes on you," she warned, but I just ignored her. Checking my messages, there were a ton of messages from guys. I never take interest in them because they're just…plain. I want to find someone who can give me chills just by staring into my eyes.
"Wilson texted me again to tell you that he's looking for you." Luisa was annoyed and I was even more annoyed by that fact. Wilson was my co-star last year. He's handsome, but nah…I don't like blondes.
"Ignore him, block him," I said.
"How I wish someone would make Janet Locason's book into a movie!" Luisa squealed. She read that book over and over again. I read it and it was good, but I'm not a maniac like Luisa.
"She just released that book like 3 months ago and there's still a long way to go." I rolled my eyes.
"She's lucky. She mocked Sky and then she met him in person. They fell in love, and boom, got married," Luisa said dramatically.
"I bet they’re only good looking in pictures," I stated.
"Angel, they're Greek gods. Handsome as hell." Drama queen.
"Whatever."
Not long after that, I arrived at my apartment. I quickly take a shower and change into black skinny jeans, a white tank top, and a black leather jacket. I do my make up fast and simple and pull my hair into a ponytail.
I grab my sunglasses and put them on. I quickly packed a few things; I didn’t need to bring a lot of clothes because there was a lot at my parents’ house. I put on my white sneakers and walked out of the house with my small luggage bag in hand.
"Let's go," I said to Luisa, and we walked to the van again. The driver drove straight to LAX. I closed my eyes and decided to sleep for a while.
"Angel." Someone poked me. "Angel, wake up, we're at the airport." Luisa poked me again and I slowly opened my eyes. I put my sunglasses on again and got out of the car.
I grabbed my luggage and walked in, queueing to check in. People were starting to recognize me, so they started taking out their phones and recording and taking my picture. I was already used to this, so it wasn’t a big deal at all.
After checking in, a few fans greeted me and asked for photos. I was so glad that they loved me, and I couldn't thank them enough. I wouldn't be the Hollywood Princess without them.
I waited at the boarding gate to board the plane. I was so excited to go home. It had been a long time since I saw my parents. The flight was 5 and a half hours and landed in New York safely. I quickly grabbed my luggage and ran out of the airport, knowing that they would be there waiting for me.
I saw my parents waving and I quickly ran to them. I hugged them tightly because I missed them so badly.
"I missed you guys so much," I said.
"We missed you too!" my mom said.
"I missed you so much!" My dad ruffled my hair, and I glared at him. I knew people were looking at us and some of them even whispered my name. Thank God, my parents were used to the attention that I got.
"So, how are you guys?" I asked as I got inside the car. My dad drove away from the airport.
"Good, and by the way, Kayla’s already waiting for you back home." My eyes widened and I squealed.
Kayla’s been my best friend since high school, and we had been friends for 7 years. I missed her so much. Being in LA for 2 months made miss home more than I thought I would. We talked about many things until we arrived at home. I ran out of the car and saw Kayla standing in front of our door. I hugged her tightly.
"I missed you, HP." HP was short for Hollywood Princess.
"Missed you too, KP." KP was short for Kayla Payton, her full name.
"Hello, Raline and Baren," Kayla greeted my parents, and we all walked inside my house. Kayla and I walked upstairs to my room, and I threw myself on my precious bed.
"Let's go party tonight," Kayla said.
"I just got here," I said, and she plopped herself beside me.
"So? Let's go! I miss you and the first thing I wanna do with you is party!" she said, begging me.
"Where?"
"The usual private bar."
"Call them," I said.
